  1. Just please keep it optional. I'm not a fan of constantly checking my vitals etc.
  2. Yes I know.. and thinking back I don't even think I used the backup'ed ESM back then :)
  3. just odd that the step is there in the first place :)
  4. Guide requirements: Dawnguard.esm must also be cleaned twice to remove all duplicate records. When you clean Dawnguard.esm the first time, check "Backup Plugins". Do not check it the second time.[/size] Does anyone know why we choose to back it up? or is it something that never got changed from the old S.T.E.P guides on how to clean (the same step has been in all the guides I've done on this site). We've already saved the vanilla non-cleaned bethesda ESMs and the first cleaning pass of Dawnguard has been saved in the skyrim folder and is also the one that's being opened the 2nd pass.. so we never use the backup'ed dawnguard.esm (which now is called dawnguard.esm.backup or something and is located in the overwrite folder). It's always puzzled me.
  5. I'll try again... :) hello all.. I've been following this guide with some excitement for some time now.. especially now that the itch to dive back into Skyrim is slowly coming back. I've been playing these packs before Skyrim Vanilla Skyrim Revisited - Legendary Edition Skyrim Revisited - Legendary Edition (with my own attempt at adding LotD) Skyrim Revisited Legendary Edition Extended - Legacy of the Dragonborn version the most polished was definitely SRLE, and I had quite few issues when playing that. How is this pack in terms of stability and needing to xEdit, console fix etc during gameplay? I know it's in Alpha, but it's been like that for quite some time now.. I also know that SSE is supposed to be a much better platform for these modding behemoths :) Basically what I'm asking is.. if I started to play this behemoth how many times would I be pulled out of my "immersion" needing to fix stuff? and if that amount is still somewhat high.. what is the ETA on moving the pack from alpha to beta to even release one day? Thanks in advance and thanks for trying to make the ultimate pack.

  7. I'm at the step of merging several texture mods together... I'm not sure if something is wrong or not, but the mod merger has stalled/stayed/not-moved or updated since I clicked the Merge! button. this is what the program is telling me: Merging process started! Uncooking: C:\Games\W3\mods\modCiriLoreFriendlyFull\content Process errror: 0 Uncooking...and it's said that for 30ish minutes now...
  8. I was messing around with keybindings and I ****ed something up, so I thought I would reset them to defaults... now many of my keybindings have "none"... what can I do to fix it back to guide defaults?
  9. I'm level 51 now (around 800 displays) and on the quest "Ancient Technology" (Retrieve the dwemer Exploding Fire Bolt Schematics) which in this case is located in the outside of Faldar's Tooth. I've been having real trouble in this area with constant CTDs (something I havn't encountered in a long while since I disabled Frostfall, ineed and bathing in Skyrim) but it's almost a given here. Notes: 1. Cleaned my save 2. toggled grass on and off (as it seems this area has more than normal share of weird plantation bugs) 3. I have 64K strings so still under the "magic" number even without the Crash Fix Plugin 4. I'm using Win 7 so no 4Gb VRAM limit 5. I don't get a crash report from the Crash Fix Plugin 6. 10. slight bug in Blackreach with grass in the air.. it doesn't bother me much but just thought I should mention it.
  11. I fixed the CTD by renaming to mehrunesdagonsnow.nif and NOT mehrunesdRagonsnow.nif :) I didn't need the original files, but just in case I'll make sure to copy them back and rename them to their original names as well.
  12. Looking in the folder now I see that I've moved the files and not copied them.. does this matter? AND.. I think I found the culprit... typing error in the mehrunesdagonsnow.nif file... I'll try again and see how it goes.
  13. Just received this error: Skyrim has crashed because an object reference with form id: 0xC599A, base form ID: 0xAD00B7D6 and type: 0x22 failed to produce loaded node most likely due to corrupted mesh or other reasons.AD in my load order is the "NSUTR - Merged.esp" from "--- No Snow Under The Roof Merge - SRLE Extended LOTD". I've tried running NIF-Healer (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61685/) on both the merged mod each mod individually in the merge and Better-Shaped Statues + Stunning Statues. None of them comes up with an error... How can I fix this?
  14. The perk is called: Born to Fight. I'm using version 9.08 And yes, I'm using the unofficial patch by SirJesto (Legacy of the Dragonborn - Unoffical Fix Patch). Version 1.5.5
  15. another slight bug: after taking the perk that reduces the weight of heavy armor by half, I'm getting the notification "you are carrying to much", even though I'm still not at my max carrying capacity. It doesn't affect me (to my knowledge) as I can still run etc. It's just the message. Another imho big bug: Sometimes I meat mercenaries out in the world.. and they just stand there. They don't move, or talk. I've encountered the same with a single dragon as well. They will retaliate though if attacked. Not sure how to troubleshoot this - any pointers? I didn't take a screenshot, but the bag is from LOTD it self. It's near the South Shriekwind Bastion entrance (just above it with a skeleton long dead). What is a formID? ohh.. I think I know what you meant by form ID: according to MFG these are the IDs: ID: 1a77aa6a BaseID: 1a775cb2 Name: Deano's Bottomless Pack
  16. Bug: Deano's Bottomless Pack is burried by rock/mountain and I had to TCL to get it.
  17. latest official news (that I know of) https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5206865-wipz-skyrim-script-extender-skse64/page-36&do=findComment&comment=48873882
  18. I'm already doing this - and have provided information where I feel something was a bit off with the game. Mind you I'm not a graphics nerd, I think it just looks nice and I didn't even notice the "grass on roads". My focus is more on bugs/ctds/script lag and playability of the game. I will continue to report my findings (I'm at lvl 42 now and around 200-250 hours in). If you'd like for me to report things in a specific way, please do tell me :)
  19. I've already disabled these in the MCM menu, but I was wondering if I could do it in MO as well and clean scripts afterways - what's your take?
  20. I'm around 200 hours so far, and I've had some issues. Most have been fixed, but I'm still having issues with script lag that hasn't been addressed yet.
  21. update on the Breton: Shared Ancestry.. it finally updated after almost an hour.. at least it was running :D
  22. A few things I've encountered bug or irritation wise. Please tell me if I should add more context or troubleshoot. 1. Getting a bit of script lag lately - not sure if it's related to my troubles in The Forgotten City (see earlier post), but when ever I enter combat I get 0.5-1.0 second lag before I can move again. This has not been a problem before. I do have lots of the restoration passives (that heal or damage every X seconds), I have Ocata's Recital (casts 3 spells on combat start) and I have the perk Welloc's Dormant Arcana perk that bestows 3 buffs on combat as well (I'd remind you that I didn't have these problems earlier). 2. Also sometimes sounds are a few seconds late - usually in combat, but also when mounted. 3. Lastly some quests update very late - main culprit here is the Breton: Shared Ancestry quest (find 10 standing stones)... so far after 10 mins (I've timed it) it still havn't updated the quest after finding and activating a new standing stone and the Stones of Galen (another Breton passive) is also a few minutes before it updates. 4. So far to combat script lag etc. I've disabled iNeed, Bathing in Skyrim and Frostfall (and besides they were getting on my nerves after 100+ hrs of gameplay). I've only disabled them via the MCM menu, but was wondering if I could disable them totally in MO.
