Oh good point, I have stuck with the SR recommendation Alternative - but I guess it's up to personal preference. :) -

I've not noticed it having much affect on performance, during slow snowfall you can see the flake structure from time to time as they get close, I really like that feature. Of course I don't know if the same effect is there without QS if it is then clearly there would be no point to it. I will need to look but if it isn't then I definitely prefer to keep it. :) -
Major changes that I have yet to test in game. 1. Requiem updated to 1.72. 2. Requiem Resources updated. 3. Requiem Hard Times NEW - fixes compatibility issues with USKP and makes hard to find items - hard to find plus a bunch of other stuff - crafting etc and new armors. 4. Requiem Wyrmstooth NEW - Finally here 5. Requiem Immersive Patrols - has been out a short while - this and the parent mod currently have a great deal of plugins might a good idea to wait for the merged esp files to come out for this. AZIROK will update as soon as Scrabbulor does. There is more I have a Light profile which does not include any extra spawn mods so not SkyTEST or IP or SIC and another that does. Hopefully the latter will run ok but may need to sacrifice other mods such as Unequip Ammo to help the poor old Skyrim engine, but how amazing would this game be with all of the above active. All balanced makes for an extremely challenging and immersive RPG. :)

Could be an idea. It isn't CORE so is highly optional. :) EDIT: This is now done on the page. -

Pretty much, works well as is so don't need it. :) Fair enough I don't precisely know what the mod does (well I know a bit more now)I just noted this after installing them following another weather pack type suggestion. But as I have said I felt it had more to do with the ENB settings added with this pack which had been tweaked but were obviously not too happy on my machine and I have not looked into adjusting those ENB settings yet. So Imagespace is not the culprit which narrows the possibilities down a tad. :) -

Yup, this does the trick very well - though it is not a perfect solution it is good enough, areas vary of course as the mod is not complete as yet but where it is complete the effects are rather good - most areas are done it seems. :) @prod80 I don't know specifically what was causing the texture popping it was a new experience for me and only noticeable when I had followed your guide for using Kountervibe ENB. I followed this to the letter and some of it looks great though not sure about Kountervibe myself. I raised a query on your page a few days ago in the bug report section with respect to what I had seen. I suspect it had more to do with some of the enb settings than anything else but it is also possible that something else was causing it. I've tried Kountervibe before but it was the first time I have seen these problems so the imagespace is a plausible candidate in terms of what is defferent about the install - though I can't back that up with any more detailed technical know how. :) -

Nope I was happy with it as is. That is not to say tweaking could or could not improve things - so much of this sort of thing is subjective so there has to be room for other options / sun replacers / ENB etc all of which can have an effect. :) -

Good to hear - I was blown away when I saw these working together and that's why I built this pack. :) -

Check post #45 Quote "Yes just that patch". in other words just use the one patch they all do the same thing but are compatible in different ways so if you use HQ Snow Textures then use only the HQ SnowTextures plugin from the CoT Weather Patch Snow mod. :) -

Which in my understanding implies to install only the Supreme Storms patch and not the main mod (Supreme Storms patch doesn't require the main mod) but perhaps that's just me :) Thanks for the spot - you are correct that was a poorly written sentence it was meant to say "Also install" instead of just install. I have corrected this on the pack page and added a bit more detail. Please let me know if you see anything there that you don't like or doesn't make sense to you, I am more than happy to correct errors. It has been a learning experience for me more than usefully aided by the information on your mod page (which i believe I credited in the OP). :) -

So just to confirm, if I have HQ Snow Textures, I should ONLY use the HQSnowTexture.esp? It has worked extremely nicely for me too, except for flickering on fog but that's probably just an ENB issue and if it's not solvable then I really don't care as it's not that big of a deal. I also had to tweak the load order a bit by putting Supreme Storms under the CoT Patch - Fog Edition, like you have said. Hopefully that gets fixed in BOSS soon. Do you know if you are can use ELE Imagespaces and Further Darker Dungeons together? If so, do you know the load order for that?Yes just that patch. I have had a look at using imagespace - this set was not working out well for me, I had texture popping and a strange people sheen on NPCs outside but not inside. Probably the ENB settings for at least some of it. I have never had much joy from Darker dungeons for ENB and to be honest with this set up you don't need it. If you are indoors and there is no light source then it is pretty dark. :) -

Yes just the SnowPatch.esp, I use the one for HQ snow textures as I use that mod. The flickering is probably to do with your enb I've had some problems with some enb types - I recommend the performance version of RealVision as it seems to work pretty well but of course it may not be to everyone's taste. I am struggling to update the pack page at present as it is still in testing and is inconsistent at present (for me at least) but hopefully I can make further updates to the instructions in the modlist so that it becomes more self explanatory. :) EDIT: By the way I hope you get this working OK for you, the feedback has been useful. It worked pretty much out of the box for me the only changes I have made are to load order this is also described on the CoT Weather Patch mod page. -

Yes to echo that I am using all of your patches in this pack along with the snow patch, supreme storms etc.. It is what holds everything else together. :) -
I've been injured stepping on a dead body with that mod installed then again I try not to step on dead bodies. I use a mod called Fires Hurt which gives a great incentive to not stand on camp fires and the like. Then again as you say often less is more especially with anything that runs a script - so not currently using dead body collision fix. Mammoths shooting up in the air after stepping on a mudcrab? Now that sounds fun, you could port in a load of mammoths and mudcrabs then stand back with your favourite crossbow and have a spell of clay mammoth shooting. :)

Ahh the infamous killer pot of Antioc. Are you sure it was the pot? I mean you could have been killed from behind by an arrow from an archer or someone wielding a sword etc. Pots don't kill only man kills. :)

I will include it, it was a new one for me, and it does fix an occasional issue with the sun etc. It can be installed with the others and you will need the 'realistic sun' main file which has three options the standard one is the base recommendation but if you have HQ Snow Textures (I recommend this) then you can use the plugin adapted for that. I will add this in when I get time later. :) -
Yep just made a couple of minor changes and it worked like a charm. Interestingly prod80 has made a file and weather pack on his mod page built around Kountervibe ENB. I have tried this out and didn't like it as much as this and there were some notable issues as well for me at least, purple colouring (just a hint of) as if people are glowing but only outside. Meaning that the ENB files would need some tweaking somewhere, and I had some textures popping in and out - again likely to do with tweaks in the enblocl.ini file I suspect. I will keep an eye on this though because it is similar to my pack guide in some ways but I still much prefer RealVision at this point. Anyway thanks Z for doing the fixes for me I can now edit happily and as such the pack wiki software seems to work fully for me now - though I still would prefer an easy way to change the title of the page - if needed. :) EDIT: Yesterday it worked today it wont let me save changes to the modlist - go figure. EDIT2: It appears that some substantial changes have been made to the form and I can now update or at least was able to - hopefully it is more stable now. Shame no one else appears to be sorting one out - I am assuming that these pack files will remain hidden from the rest of the wiki until such a time....

Windows itself can be a cause of a variety of problems so good luck with that. I have rolled back my install several times. Requiem used to bundle some esp files to make changes, one of which was to cancel the changes Requiem made to vampires so that it would be more compatible with vampire mods. It might be worth trying to download an older version with those patches included and have a look at it in TES5Edit if you want both of those mods. Requiem does address vampires already but it declares that BV and BS are both compatible but might be better with the Requiem - No Vampire Tweaks.esp patch which is still available from the site. My Requiem install is fairly stable - not perfect but CTDs are rare and ILS rarer still. Very playable but I suspect that my reduced textures are a big part of that. :)

DDSOpting CH doesn't hurt it as far as I know - worked OK for me 1024 / 512 all good and happily furry. :) -
I've tried that before and it wasn't much of a help at the time. Not sure that those ITMs, and there are a lot, are intentional. There was a thread about that on the mod page a while back, I don't remember it that well though. I would be interested to find out about any issues that you discover about the mod but well worth checking with ogerboss and azirok about cleaning issues. :)

Not necessarily hence the instruction. BOSS is frequently updated and things can change and of course everybody's load order / mod list is different. So if you run BOSS and all plugins are in the correct order then all is good otherwise you will have to change the load order so that they are in the correct order. BOSS sorts most of them fine it is just that all CoT versions of mod's plugins must load after CoT's own plugins. So first CoT plugins, then CoT weather Patch then Supreme storms CoT version and then prod80 supreme storms patch. I will look to check if that instruction is not clear enough. I'll admit though the wording is aimed at experienced modders at present and will need to be clarified I am assuming a working knowledge of BOSS and BUM or BOSS GUI. Anyway BOSS sorts everything apart from the mods that I have specified and those are the only changes needed to load order. Hope this helps. :) -
Actually I have tried to make edits to this and they will not save - the pack is up and working but I will still need to add Skyrim Particle Patch and some instruction changes. I have made links to it so that I can get some feedback as it stands now - but the pack form still needs some ironing out at least with respect to the saving issue and title issue, but otherwise it works well and is fairly intuitive. :)
