Thanks again. I am just following the main STEP guide, letter by letter as far as I am able. Meaning I chose the installer version of MO. I'll switch over to the portable for ease of use, then.

Okay, thank you. I am a complete noob at this, only returning to Skyrim and STEP after a six year (!) absence. Another obstacle I'm encountering right now is that I can't find where MO2 stores the profile I created. STEP installation for BethIni says: In the INI Path box, browse to the profile previously created when installing Mod Organizer: Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Mod Organizer\profiles\ProfileName. Select the INI and click [Open]. BethINI will restart. Only, I can't browse to the profile I created in MO2 because there is no /profiles folder in the directory where I installed MO2. I named the profile STEP Core, as suggested, but can't find that anywhere outside the actual MO2 program. I'm sorry for being so clueless, but any pointers, here?

Hi, In the STEP installation guide for MO2 it says this: Go to the Plugins tab and click Basic diagnosis plugin on the left and double-click true next to check_modorder and change it to false. However there is no "check_modorder" in there as far as I can see (as of MO v2.1.5). Was this command removed, renamed, or does it not matter?

I have now made it look a little better by installing the TreesHD 4096 version over TPC (which used Vurt's textures for these, I suppose?). I'm curious though, for those of you with very high-end machines looking for the highest res version of Skyrim you can get, what do you use instead of TPC? Have you found any other combination of texture mods that looks better overall? Because I do think that TPC does some funky things here and there, but I also don't want to manually have to review every texture and decide which mod I want to use. Too much work. I just want everything to be high-resolution and good-looking! I have an overclocked GTX 680 with 2 GB vram so it should be able to handle most high-res stuff. @JudgmentJay: I found this just up the mountain from Riverwood, in the first snowy area there.

Hi, I'm running Beth's high-res DLC, + almost all of STEP's recommended graphics mods (most through the Texture Pack Combiner), and yet here and there I still see some EXTREMELY low-res textures in the game. I mean it looks like a game from 2002 or something. https://postimage.org/image/zdmss2me7/ What is the deal with this? Should it look like this even with all these texture mods installed?

Yes, but I still had some ugly waterfall LODs even with WATER installed. With this mod added, they look great and blend in almost perfectly (as well as a LOD can, anyway).

SKYRIMLE Main Menu Wallpaper Replacer with Randomizer v3.31
Aanikron replied to mothergoose729's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I don't have anything in particular in mind but I would love to at least see some options for main menu replacements for 2560x1440. Some of VictoriaG's ones are absolutely fantastic but they're only 1080p. :( -
ACCEPTED Consistent Older People (by Winterlove)

I want to add my vote for this mod to be included in STEP. There is now a compatibility patch for Ethereal Elven Overhaul so it should all be good. -

Second this. -
https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26344 Brand new mod, looks pretty good to me although I haven't tried it yet. Beautiful craftable shields.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=12923 Simply makes bears a little bigger and visually more intimidating. I think this would fit well into S.T.E.P.

Yes, of course, but since I can't seem to decide myself, I wanted to ask what others think about them respectively.

The Wilds ENB: https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21123 Has anyone tried this? From just looking at screenshots, I'm sort of on the fence between this and Project ENB. Both are absolutely beautiful I think. But which to choose...? What do you all think about The Wilds vs. Project ENB?

I would really like to use this mod with STEP, but from this thread: https://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=950, it looks like Interesting NPCs is a 'do-not-use' mod. Has anyone tested this?
