  1. I've been playing with this on today. Hilarious side-effect: You can murder yourself with Whirlwind Sprint. I used the shout in a hallway in a tomb, hit one of those loose clutter vases, it flew about a foot, hit a wall, then it bounced back and killed me instantly. Did the same thing on the next load, to see if it was repeatable. Very funny. Working as intended?Â
  2. This is the first I've heard of this mod. I had a new character in Riverwood, so I quickly added this. Oh. My. Dear. God. What an amazing change. I can't even wait the 10 minutes or so I have left so I can endorse this. This is gorgeous.Â
  3. Yes, I was aware of this as well, but those NPC records can be tricky to merge if you aren't paying attention to 'what' is being merged. One thing I'm interested in is if people have actually played the new stuff. Is it consistent with the game? Does seem out of place or incomplete? I've played with this for a couple of months. The quest add a bit of depth to existing stuff and nothing seems out of place. Some of the added stuff isn't important, but it gives it a bit of a "directors cut" feel. The author is very selective about what he puts back in, as in obvious and completed/almost completed things. It's done well enough that in a recent Requiem play-though (No fast travel, forces your perception down a great deal) I was always asking myself, "Have I seen this? Is it from CRF?" The first thing I saw on a new play-though is an added scene with Uthgerd the Unbroken upon reaching Whiterun stables that feels completely vanilla. I also ran into a named hostile npc named Herebane Sorenshield that was placed in a fairly appropriate place. The missing mages quest is something that needed to be finished, as there were mystery components lying about, and the fixes to this are welcomed, IMO, especially seeing how most of the College material feels truncated. I actually love this mod, after giving it some thought.
  4. I spent about an hour last night trying to decapitate two cultists in Whiterun by using Dance of Death. I instantly could confirm the bug, the "gore," separate from the body is searchable and you can pick it up, but is invisible. Post patch I never had a decapitation to compare it to. I just could seem to make it happen. I don't know if DoD just wasn't doing the job, or if the patch wasn't working. Is there a better way to force a decapitation than this?Â
  5. On the mod page. If I wasn't clear, I'm the author.Â
  6. In case anyone was interested, I've uploaded some improved and alternate versions of this. Now comes in opaque, semitransparent and transparent, all with refraction, in 1k and 2k sizes. Hope you enjoy!
  7. Oh wow, it was a surprise to find a post about the mod up here. I've added a version that creates refractions in the ice. So, from a distance you can't see the corpse that well, but up close you have a distorted body. It's creepy as hell. Overall, I think it's pretty lore friendly. As for the mod I link to, I think the stalhrim armor is amazing and lore friendly as well. It's not skimpy or too crystalline, but you have to see it in-game for a real idea of how it looks with refraction. The weapons and glass set are all too transparent, and the author admits he just wanted to see his follower's butt with a shield on her back. Also, the guy is incredibly receptive to requests if anyone is interested in variations of any kind. I have a decent pic of the armor and weapons on nexus: https://static1.nexusmods.com/15/images/110/6642712-1385841515.jpg
