Restart the PC. Delete the DynDOLDO folder. Install the latest version. Then replace the exe with the new test version. Do not rename the exe. If problem persists upload any log file found in the log folder if there is one. Edit: And re-download this test version instead.

Thanks. This test version should fix the integer overflow error while processing a child world. In case it doesn't, upload new bugreport and logs.

These changes trigger large reference bugs, e.g. texture flicker between the full model and LOD model just outside the loaded cells in the large reference grid area. If those bugs are visible for a cell, the workaround is to move the original reference underground to -30000 in a ESM flagged plugin to hide them and add new reference that is a copy as new of the original reference but uses the new ACTI base record (plugin type does not matter). Use the xEdit discord for help with xEdit, its scripting or to report bugs with xEdit.

Delete all old logs and bugreport.txt, then run this test version of DynDOLODx64.exe. It should still fail but hopefully provide more information. Upload new bugreport.txt, log and debug log. BSOD is always a hardware, BIOS settings, OS, driver etc. problem. Google the BSOD code for help and hints.

Ah great. Thanks! I uploaded that test version as Alpha-68. I can assure everyone the firstborns are adequately cared for. I mean, they are no use if they are weak or ill.

Download this test version and see if this runs through without error. In case it doesn't, please upload bugreport.txt and debug log. Alpha-68 fixes that error.

Download and test with this version of TexGen. In case there are still problems upload new bugreport and debug log. The recent updates to TexGen improved speed, so it is expected to be faster. Make sure to investigate and fix missing texture problems.

Read the first post which log files and bugreport to upload. The error is a problem in the code and not a plugin. That is why you should upload the log and bugreport. Disabling a plugin is a troubleshooting step and not a fix. I have no issue when generating LOD with notice board.esp.

The SkyrimSELauncher.exe does not start Steam when started from Windows Explorer. -

This problem should happen in earlier versions as well. Can you upload a debug log from an earlier version?

Is this error repeatable? Let me know from which tree mod the texture textures\landscape\trees\TreePineForestBarkComp_N.dds is. Occlusion generation should be generated in teh second step together with dynamic LOD.

If that is all the information you are willing to surrender, I suggest you start investigating what is interfering with MO2 virtual file system or TexConv reading/writing. Update MO2 to the latest version. Another cause could be because LOD is being generated into MO2 folders or game folders. Another cause would be the usual UAC, antivir problems. -

The xEdit/xLODGen/DynDOLOD message window is a text window in which text can be marked with the mouse and copied with the usual key command CTRL+C. If xEdit/xLODGen/DynDOLOD closes, it writes its message log to the log file. If the OS terminates the program prematurely it can not do that. In that case check the Windows message log for hints. -

Do not start Steam. Then start the launcher SkyrimSELauncher.exe directly. It will update the registry. Then Exit the launcher without starting the game. No Steam running, no game updating. If the old folder still has the game as mentioned above, delete the registry entry beforehand.
