I have Dyndolod and recently noticed that my grass loads in very slowly. The distant Lods work fine but as I approach they sometimes disappear and then take for ever to generate. I posted a link so yall can see what I am talking about. Video: https://youtu.be/J44Je9AjGxw Modlist: https://pastebin.pl/view/fad05683

I know this is an old post but I ran into this issue. I tired to hide the cgid. file and it still came back with failed LodGenWin64.exe. I went ahead and deleted the file. It was "Tamrielx-023y0023" I saw ya'll talking about being teleported to the area to recreate the file in game. I don't really know how to pin point which area this cgid. file belongs too, any advice?

Everything is working as normal. Pretty simple process when you understand it. -

It looks like the problem was with JKs Riften Outskirts JKs Windhelm Outskirts, and JKs Riverwood. Deactivating those allowed the cache to finish -

I apologize for them not working. I have been disabling some mods to find it. I found JK Riften Outskirts might be tripping it up. I am running it currently with out and its made it to Tamriel 55 out of 55 but it is failing a lot at that last point. Crash.txt -
GUIDE Skyrim Special Edition Grass LOD Guide

I have been trying to run Grass Cache since yesterday. At first I did not follow the guides to speed up the process. My mistake. Went ahead after that and followed every step to improve generation time. I kept running into certain worldspaces failing over and over again. It wasn't a specific one. At first it was a Worldspace in Solsthiem, then Solitue, and now Windhelm. I attached the last two CTDs, I know they will happen, that isn;t the issue. It is the failing at one point and never moving past it to completion. Here are the logs.: https://ufile.io/0bhcldo2 https://ufile.io/06ygv0ap If you need anything more please let me know. I followed all direction from: https://stepmodifications.org/wiki/SkyrimSE:Grass_LOD_Guide I deactivate all Mods related to ENBs, xLodgen Output, TexGen Output, and DynDOLOD Output. I will rerun them once its finished. Just have to get there now lol. -
Seems to have fixed the issue. Thank you again. Despite it being a relatively simple fix I learned a lot more about modding and the functions.

Trying it now, will keep you posted on the result.

Version 1.1. I had to downgrade somewhere along the way to get meshes and textures to fit another mod. I have long since left that mod behind. Would getting Version 1.3 fix the issue potentially?

I was using that for the troubleshooting. I went ahead and followed your directions. LodGenx64Win.exe failed to generate object Lod. Spoke too soon unfortunately. I have been trying to figure out what mods are the ones with missing nifs. Going through disabling my mod list to find the culprit but every trace back to a mod from xEdit has ended in failure. I found a few mods with the nifs in question that were missing, but the seem to come directly from the skyrim.esm. Not sure if its a mod tripping up the process or something deeper. I understand that the files are missing, I just want to be able to disable the mod attached to them, or get them back so dyndolod can function. DynDOLOD_SSE_log.txtLODGen_SSE_Tamriel_log.txt LODGen_SSE_DLC2SolstheimWorld_log.tx Here are two worldspaces but they all have the same named nifs inside of them with the exception of a few.

[HELP] Skyrim Special Edition: Camera Jerks Bug
WhippyFaun posted a question in General Skyrim SE Support
Hello all, to anyone who may know how to fix this. I have modded Skyrim on PC and ran into this glitch. When I disable my Smooth Cam mod it still does this. Anyone know of a way to make this go away. Not game breaking but a bit annoying -

Mod Organizer Couldn't Remove Cache Files
WhippyFaun replied to WhippyFaun's question in Mod Organizer with STEP
It only appears after my comp has been turned off and rebooted. If I close MO2 and reopen the app the alert is not present. Its only after a shut down or restart. I found the tab. clicked 'clear cache' nothing seems to have updated. Will post anymore results if they happen. Update: Cleared cache as directed and the alert is no longer present when rebooting. Thank you for reaching out to help. Such a simple fix I feel should be more present online lol. Thank you again!
