  1. It seems everything is well set. The last tip I can think of is to redownload latest SKSE Alpha again and replace the 3 main files.
  2. Yes. With the ini I posted, I get Block 1: 512 / Block 2: 256. Noticed the changes in the game from the start, with just the USKP, having no choppy Intro while loading and some placebo effect too. But it is enabled. logging of blocks enabled logging max values only Timer disabled Block1 Block2 512MB 256MB 85 8 85 8 85 9 85 10 85 11 85 12 85 13 85 14 85 15 85 16 85 17 85 18 85 19 85 20 85 21 85 22 85 23 85 24 85 25 85 26 85 27 85 28 85 29 85 30 85 31 85 32 85 33 85 34 85 35 85 36 85 37 85 38 85 39 85 40 85 41 85 42 85 43 85 44 85 45 85 46 85 47 85 48 85 49 85 50 85 51 85 52 85 53 85 54 85 55 85 56 85 57 85 58 85 59 85 60 85 61 85 62 85 63 85 64 85 65 85 66 85 67 85 68 85 69 85 70 85 71 85 72 85 73 85 74 85 75 85 76 85 77 85 78 86 78 87 78 88 78 88 79 89 79 90 79 91 79 92 79 93 79 94 79 95 79 96 79 97 79 98 79 98 80 99 80 100 80 100 81 101 81 101 82 101 82 102 82 103 82 105 82 106 82 106 83 106 84 107 84 107 85 108 85 109 85 110 85 111 85 112 85 113 85 114 85 115 85 116 85 117 85 118 85 119 85 120 85 121 85 122 85 123 85 124 85 125 85 126 85 127 85 128 85 129 85 130 85 131 85 132 85 132 86 133 86 134 86 135 86 136 86 137 86 138 86 139 86 140 86 141 86 142 86 143 86 144 86 144 87 145 87 146 87 147 87 148 87 149 87 150 87 153 87 153 88 154 88 155 88 156 88 157 88 158 88 159 88 160 88 161 88 162 88 163 88 164 88
  3. Just to confirm: I use a SKSE.ini (all caps) in the C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim\Data\SKSE directory (all caps too on the SKSE dir). The game isn't installed to Program Files (either one) and I run it by the skse_loader.exe via MO. If you got that covered, then it's something else, like you said. I'll see if I can find something. Hang on a bit, someone might post a solution ^^
  4. Did you pasted the skse.ini instructions passed by Sheson ? This is my skse.ini with the alpha version: [General] ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 [NotPlacebo] GiveFirstBornToSheson=1 [Memory] defaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 scrapHeapSizeMB=256EDIT: Since even with profile changes I'd want to keep the fix up all times, I just pasted the skse.ini into the original skyrim\data\skse\ folder. No brainer.
  5. I found you bypass a lot of permission problems if you install MO inside the Skyrim Folder. Ex: ..\Skyrim\ModOrganizer
  6. Update to version 1.1 beta. Clean install it. That file stays at MO\Profiles\%profilename%\ Right ?
  7. If you put it before, USKP will render it useless. Needs to forward the changes, but it's kinda of pointless.
  8. Can you provide a link as example ?
  9. Test it with other games. Old ones. Mass Effect 3 or World of Warcraft. They tend to push VRAM to 1k MAX. If you still have problems, do a clean OS install and the basic stuff. If you keep having bloating VRAM problems, RMA the card. Lately, I've seen comments about having 4Gb ram, and getting all used up quickly. It is to my knowledge that a chunck in % gets used based on the available memory. But test it and RMA it. You should be worried if you have performance problems.
  10. Well, they obscured the ns timming in every big kit. If you wonder well, the 1600 are the most responsive ones, even at 16Gb + I use 16Gb (4x4Gb [Two kits of 8]) and find it more responsive than my 16Gb (2*8) of my girlfriends.
  11. Inspect it with TES5Edit, selecting it and USKP of sorts. Follow the guide to find conflicts (found in T5E nexus page) and compare it. Generally, they just don't forward USKP fixes. If it overrides USKP stuff, well... I don't know lol EDIT: What they said up there.
  12. It's not a good thing, from an experienced user view, to disable it. It's easier to not install into Program Files and run as Administrator. I run Windows 8 with a Limited Account, UAC at max level. No problems since steam and the game/MO are installed to C:\Games\Steam\...
  13. I feel that STEP Patches additional instructions are somewhat confusing, specially at the Wrye Bash tip. Since the guide is adopting MO, there should be an update to it. What checkboxes ? I think you should separate the patches for Core and Extended. It will be more user friendly. 1. STEP Patches (Core only) 2. STEP Patches (Extended) ---> Note: Could be complicated. Also, if using extended, should leave a note that the patch is for the FULL extended installation, as well for core.
  14. But it is still based on the DDR3 specs. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GDDR5
  15. That would break a quest that comes to me. The old lady in Windhelm, that needs to be alive to do the Butcher quest arc: you have to kill her for the Dark Brotherhood. If you render her immortal, it'll break the DB progression.
  16. It is the UAC messing it up. Don't ever install MO or the game to Program Files. In windows 7 you had problems and windows 8 makes you life a living hell. P.S.: I know you are running as administrator, but it only let's you do a couple of things. UAC still blocks access to other files, depending on the level of protection.
  17. This mod is just for the bug hunters. If you stop to notice that, good. If you just play it, you'll hardly notice anything and it takes a place in the leveled list and some chunk of memory.
  18. Not from scratch, just the DDSOpt part, if I'm not mistaken.
  19. Hefty, like 30~40 bucks to. It'll be a present for the pre-orders, that you can use in the ongoing expansion. If you stop to analyse, they are simply giving you the tools to ignore the world. You'll get you 90's and be stuck not knowing how to raid or use the class. It'll be the end of pug raids. Looking for RAID (dungeon finder of sorts) is already a mess. So...
  20. It's the combined RAM/VRAM stuff. I don't remember where I read it, but there is a project to extinguish VRAM and let the VGA use the RAM, since the BUS it'll use for communication will be as fast as on the same PCB. Technology keeps evolving. And we are yet stuck on old fashion values. In a few years, I guess we'll be playing skyrim as an abandonware theses days.
  21. Btw, WoW is going down that road. With 6.0 they'll implement a service to instantly boost any character to level 90. Right now, the STORE button took the place of the HELP button in the micro bar. People are pretty bummed.
  22. You need to add 256 to your value, 'cause SKSE alpha implementation "eats" that from it. If you input 256, then it will be 0. If you input 512, it will be 256. 768 - 256 = 512 1024 - 256 = 768. SKSE ''eats'' 256 form the informed variable, in lame terms. EDIT: It only does that for Block 1. Block 2 is what you input. EDIT 2: To clarify, in my .ini: [Memory] defaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 <---- this equals 512, since SKSE will eat 256. scrapHeapSizeMB=256 <--- this equals this. Mehhh
  23. Is there any need for it now that ENB can fix some shadow issues ?
  24. I was thinking of a PvE centered game. Read the whole description (since I didn't get a BETA invite) and got VERY frustrated. This is going to be a neverending war of PvP boasting and those who play it for the PvE are getting massively capped by it. Plus, you are going to hear that old phrase from gankers (if possible): "If you can't handle it, don't play it". I'll keep at wow for now, since nice graphics for a rushed pvp environment is not my thing.
  25. On my rig, anything higher than 256 in the "scrapHeapSizeMB" variable leads to crashing at start screen. No mods whatsoever, just the trio *StableUGrids, Sheson's Patch and ENBoost* and USKP. Maybe I don't need it ._.
