  1. I was just about to suggest some stuff but glad you figured that out!! The frustration can be real!
  2. Same thing seemed to be happening with Nordic Snow (at least for me) so I may just remove Footprints. Nice to see AH Hotkeys pop up! Been messing around testing ESO Skyshards and Weapons & Vestments too...I'll actually play this game one day, I swear.
  3. Two others on here have seen it also with different ENB so it's not NVT specifically. Something to do with fog, I suppose. Minor problem. I did a bunch more running around in snow and Footprints is definitely a waste of scripts with Fluffy Snow, for me. The footprints only show up in very shallow snow. Might go back to Nordic snow.
  4. Sent you a PM so I don't clutter up Lexy's pretty forum
  5. Any tips? I'd looked at Smash when I was playing classic but was too intimidated by it then. Still am a bit now, but I've learned more about CR since then and want to learn from it a bit. Did you start with the bash all setting and just tweak from there?
  6. Now that you mention it yeah, they were both during fog transitions. Hm.
  7. Proper start. Not sure if it's everywhere, I just noticed it as I was heading to Bleak Falls Barrow. I'll have to check in other snowy areas. BTW putting Quick Light on wide seems to work much better re conflicting lights, thanks for that suggestion. Edit: Works near Helgen -- but only in shallow snow, not deep snow.
  8. BTW just noticing that Footprints and Fluffy Snow don't play together, at least not for me. Is everyone else still seeing footprints in the snow?
  9. So this just happened o.O Another picture here. Anyone know what might be causing this? It's happened twice, once while walking uphill to Kynesgrove and once up in the mountains between Windhelm and Riften. Both at night just before dawn. I'll be playing and suddenly lights become brighter and hair/eyes go white. If I turn off ENB hair's no longer white but Skyrim is still overly bright and fuzzy for 3am or whatever time it is, definitely does not look right. Fast forwarding time doesn't fix it; hair and eyes still white. Only way to get around it is to back up a save and avoid going into the triggering area right before sunrise.
  10. Create Dummy Masters only works if you do not have the plugin you want to remove from the master list downloaded (ie it's missing altogether). If you do have the plugin you're trying to remove as a master then either use report masters or select the plugin you're working with, right click on the missing master in Wrye's right pane, 'change to' something else (an empty plugin, preferably), and save. Then open in xEdit and check for errors, remove whatever you need to.
  11. Ugh, flu is awful. Feel better soon. Realistic Water Two has been updated to v1.4.4
  12. My current character has backstory-based reasons for not using magic, so the magic source wouldn't be immersive for me, lol. First world problems right here. I'll set it on wide and see how that rolls though.
  13. Thanks @sirjesto The flickering ground issues at night I'd been having seem to just be due to Quick Light, so nothing to be done about that.
  14. @sirjesto I was messing about in the LOTD building last night and noticed I seem to have a heck of a time with my followers in there. Toccata for example frequently gets stuck at the entrance arch and won't come up the stairs to the main building. She may or may not reappear when I go inside (often have to summon her). Both she and Inigo get 'lost' as I'm moving around the safehouse and won't appear if I book-travel from one area to another, or even just walk through doors (worse with book traveling). Usually after a bit of running from HoH to library to a safehouse stop and back to main I've totally lost both of them and have to summon. They also sometimes won't follow me out the main door either. It's a very minor thing and I don't mind just summoning them around, but thought I'd mention it. I haven't tried using any vanilla followers in there yet.
  15. Weird! You wouldn't think that would have anything to do with it, but with a complete reinstall of everything it's pretty hard to tell if that was really it. In any case, glad you have it working. Has anyone else been having issues with EFF? I have Toccata with me at the moment, and the EFF dialogue won't show up on her. I've tried regular recruiting, force recruiting, dismissing and resetting EFF, just about everything. No dice. Classic mode works, but the 'command' option won't appear in dialogue mode. I had this problem at the beginning of my last character as well; it suddenly started appearing after I'd died once so I shrugged it off. But now it's doing it again. EDIT: Literally just randomly began working again after dying and game reload. No idea why it's consistently being annoying until I've reloaded at least once, but I guess I know what fixes it now (I hope).
  16. Oh Skyrim, never change. Started brand new game, DynDolod is back. Didn't touch a thing otherwise. I have no idea.
  17. Has anyone ever had an issue where DynDolod suddenly stops working? Game was running just fine, I quit to go do some other things and came back, loaded my last save, and now the game is telling me 'DynDolod.esp not found'. Nothing in my load order has changed, DynDolod esm and esp are checked just as they were before. Just suddenly the game isn't registering it.
  18. Was it this post, by chance? It's talking about Winterhold, but I couldn't find any other mentions of tree textures being wonked.
  19. CACO/CCO/WAF ports will probably replace Ars Metallica and SAFO someday, which would be a big change. Kryptopyr had been saying she'd port CACO in February but it didn't end up happening, so we'll see. Given that there's no timeframe on that, it'd be your call whether to go ahead or wait. Other than that, I don't know if Lexy and Darth have other major change plans. Seems to be mostly bug hunting mode right now.
  20. I've had to do it more than once to hunt down issues. It doesn't take that long if you're methodical. Is your crashing reproducible (always happens at a certain area or when doing a specific activity etc), or does it seem truly random? Is it a crash just once in a long play session or is it frequent? Some more details might be helpful.
  21. I didn't have the transparency meshes fix installed, still had wonky textures at Frostmere. The ground flickering in Riften might just have been Quick Light not playing nice. I'll have to look at it at night without other lights on. Realistic Water Two main file got an update yesterday.
  22. Finally got the time to run around a bit more in-game. Couple relatively minor things I jotted down: Some wonky flickering textures on the pillars in front of Frostmere Crypt (only flickers when camera is moving). Flickering lights while moving through White River Watch right before reaching the wolf cage. Flickering floor under the chest in Inigo's cell. Flickering ground at training ground right east of Mistveil Keep at night. Flickering ground just outside Bee and Barb (at the door facing the market) at night. I crash in the LOTD safehouse if I use EFF command 'relax' (via dialogue) on Toccata. Command works fine anywhere else. One bizarre incident where when I walked into Riften for the first time, Flamia Curion from Ravensgate went aggro out of nowhere and killed me. Took a couple reloads and a fast travel away and back before I could enter the city without triggering her. Now she seems to be behaving normally. Google didn't bring up many reports of this happening that I could find, so I'm going to assume it was just Skyrim being Skyrim and hope it doesn't happen again.
  23. Install the mod normally (With BSA). Then unpack it with BAE into the mod folder, then delete the BSA.
  24. Hit ~ to bring up console (for pausing), then your ENB's GUI -- usually shift + enter but check your ENB page if that's not it. In the right hand column there should be 'Shader parameters'. Click ENBEFFECT.FX and it should drop down options for messing with brightness and other qualities of the various times of day. If you mouse over one of the values you should see - + and a dot; the dot is a slider wheel. Might take a little messing around to find settings you like. Have a look around the other settings as well (Lightsprite and Environment [in the left pane] are others you might want to dither with). Just note the value you started at so you can reset easily and go ham, you'll quickly see how values affect the world. When you find something you like, click the 'save configuration' in top left (and 'apply' if need be). This video shows how messing about with Rudy ENB's values change the look. Won't be exactly like yours of course but it's a good little insight into what different values do.
