I'm reposting this here as suggested in my OP on the SSE Guide Forum. I'm retruning back to playing Skyrim after a couple of years absence. I've purchased the AE upgrade and began following the guide. I chose not to use the post-processing option during this build. While running DynDOLOD this message appeared on the screen. I don't believe this is a DynDOLOD problem, but I can't figure out what I need to do to resolve the issue. Skyrim.esm isn't a master that needs to be cleaned is it? I don't remember reading that it was. The link in the image goes to a local html file. I'm not sure how to share that here. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. https://imgur.com/Yb5JH6E https://imgur.com/J747VAi

Badfrog88 replied to Badfrog88's topic in Step Skyrim SE Guide
Yes, but I didn't understand what it was telling me. It was late last night so I'll look again and post as @z929669 suggests in his post. -
That was my old system. Thanks for your reply, I have my new system info now.

Disregard. I finally figured it out. -
Dread's Skyrim Build (a STEP build)

I'm confused about using xLODGen for generating LOD files. Step 4 says to use "the following settings" and then has 4 images with different settings for Terrain LOD. Do I run this four different times or do I just choose one of the settings. I've never done LOD before. Thanks. -
Dread's Skyrim Build (a STEP build)
Badfrog88 replied to dreadflopp's topic in Unofficial Skyrim SE Guides
For Mysticism - A Magic Overhaul it says to "Install the main file and the Survival patch. Do not install the Audio Overhaul Skyrim patch." As of today (19 Nov 2020) the survival patch is not listed. Can I continue the build without it? -
Dread's Skyrim Build (a STEP build)
Badfrog88 replied to dreadflopp's topic in Unofficial Skyrim SE Guides
I'm returning to the game after 18 months. I've found this build very interesting and am looking forward to trying it, but I have one question. One of my "essential" mods has been "Bosmer Armor Pack" (as I always play that race). It's not listed in your build and I'm wondering what issues I would have if I added or substituted that for one of the other armors. I didn't include a link as I'm not sure if that is allowed. Thanks. -

As a relative newbie to modding, I'm trying to get my head wrap wprapped around the whole patching process. Why do we patch, when to patch, etc. If anyone knows of a good resource that would help me understand this it would be greatly appreciated. I've installed STEP Core/Extended, but I still don't feel I under stand the "why" as to some of the processes. I'm considering SRLE: LotD Reqtified but I don't feel a have a good enough grasp of some of the concepts to delve into that ATM. Thanks.

Thanks for the info jd. The more I think about it, I may just wait to see what is in the Skyrim Special Edition set to release later this month. I have yet to complete a play though and I'm spending far more time modding than I am playing. I also need to read up more on using "packs". If I do decide to finish my build, that may be the way to go. There are only a few mods I really want to add to Extended, and it looks like the survival pack contains most of them.

After reaching section 2.L Sound in the STEP guide, I've decided I should probably be building SR:LE. The reason being that I really wanted to use some mods that are not in Extended but are in SR:LE. My system is not the best, so I will probably reduce the texture size to 1k. I'm guessing the best way to do this is to start over, correct? It would be nice if I could just add/replace the specific mods, but I'm thinking that my be more hassle than starting over. Is there any way to save my current games? I have two separate profiles with locally saved games in MO. Thanks.

I'm not sure if this is part of the issue, but it appears I don't have ENB installed correctly. https://forum.step-project.com/topic/11387-enbseries-information-overlay-on-start-screen/?do=findComment&comment=182469

ENBSeries Information Overlay on Start Screen

Thanks. Now I need to figure out how I messed up that install. I'm about ready to start over again. -
ENBSeries Information Overlay on Start Screen
Badfrog88 posted a question in Post-Processing Support
Is it normal for the ENBSeries information be be displayed on the start screen as shown in the image below? I ask because it is not being displayed following my install of SR:LE and I'm trying to troubleshoot a freeze during load screens. The image above was taken following an install of S.T.E.P Core-Extended. Thanks. -
I'm not that familiar with the console commands. What do I enter in the console to get this information?

Crashfixes.ini enblocal.ini I'll be away for the rest of the night. I'll check for any replies tomorrow. Thanks for the help.

UseOSAllocaters=1 is set. Trying the -forcesteamloader argument didn't work either. In fact the game froze during the load screen after I clicked "Continue".

Please Help Understanding LOOT Message
Badfrog88 replied to Badfrog88's question in Other Utilities Support
It no longer appears after installing the conflict resolution patch. I'll mark this solved. -
I just finished installing SR:LE. I've created three different test characters and I'm having a game freeze at the same general spot on all three. I've selected "property owner" for two in Another Life and the third I selected surprise me. It still put me inside a home. The locations are: Riften, Solitude, and Whiterun. My game freezes during the load screen as I try to exit the home will a pop-up window from crash-fixes: I've made the change as suggested in #1 and 2. #4 was already enabled. and I'm still getting the freeze. Here is a copy of my Memory Block Log: Any help/advise appreciated.

Please Help Understanding LOOT Message
Badfrog88 replied to Badfrog88's question in Other Utilities Support
Interesting, because that patch is installed. -
I'm installing SR:LE and after running LOOT, I have the following message below the GuardAnimations.esp "Guard Dialogue Overhaul detected. Use the Guard Dialogue Overhaul version to have both mods work as intended." This is highlighted in yellow. I'm not really sure what this is telling me. Would someone be kind enough to explain it please? Thanks.
