Also if you use Mod Organizer and/or extract .bsa files you don't need the .esp file for the Unofficial High Resolution Patch. And also watch for mods that add spawn points. Too many spawn points and you start getting CTD's. Also i'm not sure since i don't use follower mods since i don't use a follower. Do you need both UFO - Ultimate Follower Overhaul and Extensible Follower Framework? I just noticed make sure when useing Complete Crafting overhaul and Smithing Perks Overhaul. Use the remade/updated patches from here https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26230/? And when useing Weapons and Armor Fixes, Use this version ensted https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34093//? again it is a remade updated version EDIT: The easiest thing to stop alot of CTD's and stuff is after all this mod switching and stuff its a really good idea to start a new game and not use a old save from before or during this mod switching/removing/adding. But if you have a old save that you really want to play try following these steps before going any further https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Troubleshooting#Mods_and_Savegames

Well one thing i think just to help reduce the amount of mod in general i really don't think you need 3 different dragon overhauls. i know it sayd the deadly dragons is a recommended mod for dragon combat overhaul but Dragon Combat Overhaul, Deadly dragons and Enhanced Mighty Dragons. Each of thoes mods each add something new and each also all 3 are trying to add some of the same things. But i am not 100% sure since i myself have always only used deadly dragons.

So far with this onetweak for me it seems to work maybe every 2nd to 3rd time and the disablefacegenchache barely works. Went back to the normal separate versions and having no problems

SKYRIMLE Skyrim Immersive Creatures (by lifestorock)
EisDrache replied to phazer11's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I personally love this mod and have been useing it for a few months now. All the creatures added with the purist setting completely fit in the game and also haven't had any problems with it. I do use the updated version with the MCM menu just pick the Purist preset and your good to go. -
Actually I use the roadsigns quite often, in fact rather than look at the map I'll use the roadsigns to find my way to the cities and do my best to follow the roadsigns towards the direction I know a quest dungeon to be in and then use the compass to get my bearings, and only using the map if I am totally stumped (or for bug reporting and testing purposes). Anyways STEP is about improving vanilla and this is not a Vanilla improvement or something the game was missing, this mod changes the color and shape of the signs. Pack makers are free to tell users to nix Legible roadsigns in favour of this mod. STEP's recommendation however is not to use this mod. That is exactly one of the reasons why i prefer vanilla/legible over Redone. Roadsigns redone changes to much from vanilla and stand out way to much from the surrounding textures. Almost acting like a big neon sign.
-
Ya i agree these are way to new looking. It almost looks like signs are replaced on a daily basis. Which deffently wouldn't be the case. And they would have a more weathered look before they go about replacing them. So as it stands Core being vanilla and extended using Legible is a perfect fit as is.

SKYRIMLE Oblivion Gates in Cities (by Arthmoor)
EisDrache replied to Sairven's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I personally think they should not be in the main cities at all. This is my quote from the mod page I see they would of been torn down as quickly as possible too. The Oblivion Crisis is something they don't want to remember in that way and have them sitting right there in the middle of main cities like that. And plus the Dwemer and Ayleid ruins are still standing cuz those are things people would actually want to remember and still study a long extinct race\s that didn't try to kill everybody and take over the world. It makes sense that they would of torn down the gates also to stop any possible way of the deadric lords of some how trying to use them again and try to reopen the gates in someway. And if they did keep them i don't think they would of left them in the middle of town they would of moved them to a less obscene in your face location. And make the city look beautiful again without this big scar of a oblivion gate in the middle of the city. Bethesda did the right thing of not having them in the middle of the cities. -
I i think the carved looks is a little more realistic since it would be alot less maintenance and alot less upkeep to keep the signs readable. Which in turn would save septims which i think is the rout the government/empire would choose. Why spend more money on road signs then they have to and spend the money on more important things.
-
I still like the Legible over these. Just cuz Legible looks more like the names are carved in to the wood ensted of painted on which would be the case back in medievil times. Carved names last alot longer then painted names. and also Legible looks a little more weathered ensted of brand new like in the roadsigns redone.

Hello all just a quick question to see if this problem is happening to anybody else. I have been trying to download the update to SMIM and The Paarthurnax Dilemma. When to goto download manually and when it going to the list of servers it only shows Kent, UK - Premium Members Only server (I don't have a Premium account) and the rest show syncing and I can't download them it has been like this all day. Just wondering if any of you are haveing the same problem?

To me it looks like Langleys is actual HD and the HD metal cage looks more like just a recolor ensted of a HD retexture. Well to me thats what it looks like anyways.

Weird problem with Bow kill cam
EisDrache replied to EisDrache's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Well there is the dance of death mod that can change the perspective for the kill cam shots. I have it set to vanilla default 3rd person view. That's the only one I use that has anything to do with combat. Other then that I also use Face to Face conversations, and AutoPV. But I have AutoPV disabled cuz I find it very annoying. This weird problem only happens when I'm in sneak mode and doesn't happen while I'm standing normally and firing the Bow. -
Weird problem with Bow kill cam
EisDrache replied to EisDrache's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Anybody have any idea what could be causing this? -
Hello All I have had this weird problem a while now and thought I could put up with it but its getting annoying. Alot of times screws up most of my sniper head shots. I always play in 1st person view but have all my kill cam views setup for 3rd person. And alot of times when the kill cam kicks in for the Bow it will go in to 3rd person view for the kill cam for like a second and then the arrow hits a invisible wall. The arrow will just fall to the ground at my feet and goes back to the 1st person view and usually alerts the person I was aiming at. This will happen over and over again till eather the NPC or I move or the kill cam doesn't kick in. Anybody have any ideas?

EisDrache replied to EisDrache's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Yes i use CBBE and the mature skin texture mod. I have replaced the files for both mods and its still not showing the skin texture and loading all white. See i'm not sure if its the actual texture or the normals. Heres a few pics of the mods i have installed and running -
Need help find what texture is messed up please
EisDrache posted a question in General Skyrim LE Support
Hello its been a while since I have been here since I have just recovered from a serious Computer/hardware melt down. Now that I have my new computer up and running and installed SR. And I accidentally DDSopt'ed all the DDS files in the mods folder. I know stupid. I thought meh I will try and use all the Opt'ed files to see what happens. And again another stupid thing I forgot to backup anything. I think because I was so excited to get back to playing/modding skyrim since I haven't played it in almost a year. And now when I run the game my female character's body (also does the same with male character's) is now showing up all white/blueish color. The head is fine but everything below the neck is like that. I use CBBE ensted of UNP. This only shows on my character and not on any of the NPC's. I have replaced the CBBE body textures with the original un opt'ed ones and it is still showing up the same. Anybody know what file/files I should replace with the original cuz i'm at a loss. -
