paul666root Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 (edited) Ok thanks. I will do that.Anyway can i know whats the difference between srle base enb settings and the smaa version used here?and when i use Memory Blocks Log in theBlock1 Block2256MB 256MB why it doesn't write 1280 on the first one? or thats something different there? Darth_mathias Posted January 27, 2016 Author Posted January 27, 2016 (edited) I SMAA is just another form of anti aliasling - https://www.iryoku.com/smaa/ I use cos it's actually more of a personal preferance if you don't like it you dont have to use it. but i must say there is something odd about your memory blcok log (the first block should be reading a higher value then 256). but since both blocks are "full" that's why your getting ILS have you looked at the Base SRLE mods Modified for better performance which currently on the Intergrating SRLE Extended With SRLE https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Darth_mathias/SRLE_Extended_and_SRLE_Intergration#Install_Order Edit: I will be moving the Base SRLE mods Modified for better performance section to the main guide later tonight. Also since we have lost Bijin from the guide I will have another go at the lords of skyriim grey face bug fix. Edited January 27, 2016 by Darth_mathias

I find its a good confirmation on whether or not blocks1 was the issue when a random ctd happens. Also, if one is trying to grasp onto the minimal amount of consumed resources then sadly they need to avoid these modding guides. There is no need to log when not testing. If I don't crash or ILS, why would I test? Also, to test with MBL, why not just go to the Windhelm Docks and pick a fight? I think that's about the most intensive Block use a person will ever see in the game. If it doesn't crash there, I doubt it will ever crash due to Block 1 filling up. Playing the whole game with it on doesn't make any sense, IMO.

Make sure your SKSE.ini is located in the correct folder as specified by SR:LE (extended or base). Then check to see that indeed the file extension of your ini is indeed an ".ini" file and not saved as i.e. SKSE.ini.txt. These are the 2 most common mistakes for having Block 1 as 256 in MBL.

Nebulous112 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Is skse.ini in a folder named SKSE? Here is a screenshot I use to show STEP users how to create the .ini. Values are probably different for this guide though.
paul666root Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Yes that's exactly how it is, just that SKSE.ini is with caps, but i dobt think thats the problem. What was that about the game beeing steam version or not. Does it matter?

Does it matter?yes..you have to put the argument "-forcesteamloader" to the skse loader...click modify executables..click skse..add the argument..and click modify..
