Issue installing Mod Organizer

Hey everyone, so I'm trying to download MO and all I get is this error whenever I try to open it after it installs

"C:/Program Files (86)/Mod Organizer/profiles/Default.modlist.txt" is missing or inaccessbile

I have no idea what to do to fix this, or what is causing it. Also i am running the program as an administrator

Just wondering if this is a new install of the game, you did not mention which one MO is being used for. The game needs to be run once from Steam to set up files and registry values for other third party tools to work with.

As silly as it sounds, check that your antivirus is not deleting the modlist.txt file. Bitdefender kept deleting mine for no reason until I added the ModOrganizer folder to the exception list.
