MO un-checking skyrim.esm

Ok, I feel like this has probably come up already, but I couldn't find a topic for it. But every time I load MO skyrim.esm gets un-checked in the plugin order. If I run a program like LOOT and sort, I get the same results. If I go to the plugin list, check skyrim.esm, and then switch to another tab i.e. archives, then go back to the plugin tab again, it is again un-checked. The only fix I have at this point is to lock the entire load order in the plugin tab. Any thoughts on this?

I figured it out I think. I had "force enable game files" un-checked in settings/workaround. After enabling this feature, skyrim.esm and update.esm or grayed out and enabled. So this is a much better fix.

Go to settings, Workarounds tab and make sure that there is a check in the "Force-Enable game files" box.
