I just realized after reading this topic that i had the same thing going... SKSE.ini.txt.

It didnt affect my game earlier and nothing changed after i amended it to .ini.

When I go to my SKSE folder I have the same problem as stated above. I open properties click the details tab and it says (Name - SKSE .ini.txt). When I have the save as box open to save my ini there is an option box that says Save As Type. I get two options Txt Documents (*.txt) which is the default option or Option Files which is the other option. Please explain to me with detail what to do because this part is new to me.

Nevermind. I don't really know how I did it but now when I open SKSE folder and click the SKSE file/properties/general tab it says file type Configuration settings (.ini). I just wish I knew what exactly I did to do that

You must have selected the option file choice - that is what does it.

As an update, everything seems to be going fine. The only things I can mention are small but I would love to know how to fix them:

-Females from the neck up have tan skin, but neck down is white. I am sure this has to do with Mature Skin Textures, but what is the corrective action?

-This https://imgur.com/a3vpc91 Any idea what could be causing this?

I'm having major CTD issues. I'm using cnsole commands player.setav speedmult 1500 and TCL. I have no mods installed. I'm running thru MO. I have SKSE installed. I did the memory patch and the file path is skyrim mod organizer/mods/skse 1 07 00/SKSE. My skse.ini is an ini and not txt file (under file type it says configuration settingings. I don't know how to do images yet but here is my skse ini

[General]ClearInvalidRegistrations=1

[Memory]DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768ScrapHeapSizeMB=256

[Display]iTintTextureResolution=2048

Please use spoiler tags when posting large text blocks. I added them to your post.

The default for speedmult is 100. Setting it to 15x this can potentially cause CTDs. Using the Bethesda HRDLC with only 1Gb of VRAM can also potentially cause crashes; you might find Vano's High Res DLC Optimized more suitable. The memory patches help to reduce the effect of RAM and VRAM related crashes when these values are near their limits, but if you exceed the limits by too much you still get crashes.
