You know, I recently broke my back and am in quite alot of pain.  The Meds I am on can make the brain a bit fuzzy at time,  most of the time realy.  So I do tend to forget things I have read unless i have read it over and over and over, I tend to learn better while on these meds when people respond to my questions because I can clarify if i am understanding it right or wrong.

I have repetedly appologised in several posts for posting in the wrong location.  But this site is large and as I said my thinking is impaired with medication.  Now I dont expect for you all to treat me with kid gloves or even become my friend.  But I do not think I have done anything to deserve coments like this.  I am not a stupid man.  I have a College Degree (RN), am a Disabled Vetran who has served this country, however spelling has always been a bit rough for me.  I mis-spelled "Tweak" in my search, which is why I came up blank.

I am sure you are aware of these but if not I would like to submit them for inclusion in S.T.E.P Core.

One Tweek replaces Borderless Windows, Double Cursor Fix and Disable Face Pre-Gen Cache.

EZ2C Dialog Menu was mentioned a while ago, but I don't think it ever go its own thread. I prefer it to the current STEP choice since it has additional capabilities. Immersive Animations was discussed briefly in a Skyrim Revisited thread a little while ago; I think Neo is looking at it.

Well I am sorry if it was mentioned before, I searched for One Tweek and came up empty. Still it has been updated as of 13 days ago so unless it was tested since then it is up for possable re-evaluation. The other two I like as well, EZ2C is very nice. and Immersive is just very good animations, I am a bit confused as to which animations can be paired together but that is my problem till STEP decides to use it and gives its recomendation. Anyway, I posted them because I think they are worthy and they have recent and ongoing updates. But thanks for looking at them.

Search mods and create a page for each mod that does not already exist. For those that do exist ... don't create a page. Lastly, don't create posts like this one, as it does not store information in any useful way.

Read the posting guidelines .. they take up half the page!

(I already stated that I did search Mod.)

This Mod Forum has this title:

Mods

Mod suggestions, discussion & testing (posting guidelines apply).

If it was posted wrong for a suggestion (Which is obvious now) perhaps it fits into disscussion.

Perhaps I should not post anything while on meds but if I do not then I can not get help. I certinly will not offer any opinions/advice since I obviously don't know what I am talking about and am just causing frustration.

As long as you do not make repeated cases of suggesting mods that already are up then I do not see any big issue.

You say you did a search, and made a typo... It happens to all of us at some point!

Since you are new to the forums, it is only to be expected that someone tells you the information on how to post! It is not in any way meant to be a rude statement!

As you have said it is a rather big site, and situations like this happen, and when it does then the staff will make a comment about it! But it should never be meant as anything more then helpful advice for future reference!

Hope that helps clear things up a bit, otherwise just let me know!

Yes, there's really nothing to worry about.

The reason we have the posting rules for mod suggestions is simply to keep the suggestions in a readable and useful form, one thread per mod, clearly named. if the thread is named "here's some ideas" and contains multiple mods, that data is likely to get lost, and people have to dig into the thread in the future to see what it's talking about, rather than simply looking up. That doesn't work, and we end up with several fragmented conversations about the same things.

You'll find on pretty much any forum, if you've missed the posting rules and don't follow them, you'll get a fairly short answer from someone that's had to repeat the same thing a hundred times!

Also, if spelling is not your strong suit - maybe turn on an inline spell checker in your browser?

I don't think my post was in any way antagonistic. It was a bit terse harsh and perhaps brash, but you and others reading it will be more likely to recall because of that. Ignoring rather obvious messaging is a bit frustrating for those of us trying to manage information.

As I recall, you have had friendly and polite help delivered numerous times already on these forums.

Lastly, your background may or may not be valiant and your experiences commendable; however, there are many others here that can claim similarly valiant and commendable actions and experiences, and we are all subject to the same rules and treatment. I think that you would do well to develop a slightly thinker skin ;)

My apologies for having offended and for any future remarks I may be inclined to post in similar circumstances.

Non-staff members, please refrain from commenting. I realize this is an open forum; however, this was directed to staff and I don't want it turning into a case of bashing.

@MallaVelve,

In the future, if there is something you wish to direct directly to the staff, it might be better to do it via PM and just add all of our names to the recipient list. Though they may have an opinion, non-staff members really don't need to be in on this type of discussion.

I am sorry you felt the words were harsh and though they may have come across as such, they were correct. Just remember to read the posting guidelines of any specific forum before you post. I know it seems like a lot at first but it's all to help minimize the maintenance of these forums.

Thanks for the feed back, I was not looking for an appology just so everyone knows. I understand it gets frustrating dealing with hundreds of people who make the same misstakes, my gripe was mainly that it was just "Harsh" and did nothing to help me understand why the post was useless. Criticizm is fine as long as it comes with constructive instruction as well. And You do have one thing correct, well several actualy, but I will be more carefull from now on so you were right about recalling. Any way, enough said. Thanks again for the feed back.
