Hey there.

Once in a while, mostly once in a couple of irl days, the game crashes when just walking around in the open.
It always gives me the same crash log, but a simple relaunch of the game afterwards and exactly in the same spot, no crashes occur. But like ive said, it does come back once in a couple of irl days.

The crash log, only lists dyndolod.esm as a culprit whenever this happens, and this kind of crash, like ive said, gives me always the same crashlog report.

To my own knowledge it cant be dyndolod itself, cause otherwise i must have another crash at the exact same spot, not?

But just to be curious if someone maybe can take a look upon it, to (maybe) solve this mystery? That would be awesome.

Here is said crash report:

https://pastebin.com/agsCfsZ3

Again, its a mystery to me what cause this crash, and why it is only once in a couple of real life days.

But nevertheless thanks for anyone who want to take a look at it.

Cheers, Mara

Moved to the appropriate thread. See https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Use-Search

The DynDOLOD.DLL is a couple versions behind. Use the latest release version or the test version https://stepmodifications.org/forum/topic/21092-crash/page/4/#findComment-287152

If the problem persists, read https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Post-Logs which DynDOLOD log and debug log to upload when making posts.

Can i just replace the dyndolod dll with the new one? Or should i make a safe save?

https://dyndolod.info/Help/DynDOLOD-DLL#Updating
Note the minimum supported version of the DynDOLOD Standalone mentioned on the Nexus download page or the Large Reference Bugs Workarounds for DynDOLOD DLL NG. Existing output generated with a supported version can be used as is.
If the change log mentions updates or changes to the papyrus scripts, make a clean save in an interior before apply the update.

No change to scripts. Also, "Continue playing with this test version" means it is a drop-in replacement.

Been having a crash recently and I can;t find what it is. Crash log mentions Occlusion.esp with the area "RiftenCitySouth", probably because that is the cell I'm trying to enter. Was able to enter it perfectly fine before but now I can't. I don't think its the fault of this mod but I would really like some help. I tried the new test .dll but that didn't work.

Crashlog: https://pastebin.com/m7KscQtG

For greater context if it helps it happens when I try to leave the Jarl's palace in riften after bribing the steward during the civil war quest-line.

Edit: Added my logs: https://mega.nz/file/MZlD3QBQ#wymkjgICwxJCps_madE7rW1wuyUTpiurpgippi0DiT4

What makes you believe this player character crash had something to do with the DynDOLOD output? Do they not happen with no DynDOLOD output? The system may be running out of memory. TrueDirectionalMovement.dll is mentioned in the stack.

See https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Rudimentary-Troubleshooting and test without DynDOLOD output.

https://dyndolod.info/FAQ#ILS-or-CTD
The DynDOLOD and Occlusion plugins might show up in crash logs a lot, since they are typically the plugins last to overwrite worldspace and cell records, so careful reading and interpretation of the stacks and registers etc. might be required to identify the actual cause of the problem.
It is very unlikely for Occlusion.esp to cause crashes by itself. It is created by copying worldspace and cell records from the winning plugins before it, then update the TVDT Occlusion data which itself can not really cause crashes.
