Hello all!

I have an issue with some specific meshes, namely farmlonghouse01.nif, farmhouse05destroyed02.nif and farmhouse06destroyed02.nif all in Winterhold. I found another one hours of play back, but it didn't bother me, as I thought it was a one off, so I left it, can't remember where though.

These houses are lightblue-greyish in a monochrome colour. The only two mods I have that does something with these meshes are SMIM an Flickering Meshes Fix. In the console it said that Dyndolod.esp was the last change for two of them, and the other was Better Dynamic Snow.esp that was the last change. I've been trying to figure out what is causing it, mainly by searching on different forums, but couldn't find anything that was causing this.

I should note I am not doing an exact STEP guide, but I hoped I could seek help here anyway. I have multiple mods not in STEP, and I'm also using Rudy ENB SE for Cathedral Weather. However the only mods, according to the console information, that does changes these files are mods within STEP, so I thought it might be something I messed up along the way.

So far I've tried turning off some mods, that had no impact, (Skyrim 202x). I've tried messing around with enb setting, setting EnableTerrainParallax=false (was =true), also no effect. Someone said it could something with bEnableImprovedSnow=0 (normally =1) in Skyrimprefs.ini, this change also did nothing. Multiple times I've run into people saying it might have something to do with parallax (not my specific issue, but something similar), however I'm pretty sure I don't have anything in parallax, except Skyrim 202x which had nothing to do with the issue.

I hope you can help me!

PS: I couldn't figure how to do screenshots on my keyboard, which is why these are not attached, and I didn't attach a complete modlist, as I thought it was too much to ask for someone to go through that. I will provide if asked of course. I merely thought, that if someone had a good idea was this would be, I could try troubleshooting further.

Sincerely

~Halde

It's almost certainly related to missing textures or snow decals, but if you want to verify it's not ENB, just toggle ENB off/on using Shift+F12. If this doesn't fix it, then it's not related to ENB. It could be related to parallax, in which case you should be running Auto Parallax. We don't use parallax in Step, so I cannot provide any relevant guidance beyond this.

To test if it's LOD or full textures, use 'tll' in the console to toggle LOD.

Use BethINI to configure your game INIs.
