0 adancau Posted November 13 Posted November 13 (edited) Have just clean installed 182, and trying to generate textures using TexGen. Getting an OpenGL framebuffer objects unsupported error at various points (not always the same file on subsequent reruns). Attaching the logs from two consecutive runs. I'm using an Nvidia 4090 board with the latest 566.14 whql drivers, installed using NVCleanstall. Note: I remember having a similar issue a long time ago (posts should be in this same thread) and helping with debugging it (unsure if related though) Many thanks! EDIT: I had an older copy of 180 and reverted to it. No errors, TexGen run completed successfully. TexGen_Logs.zip Edited November 13 by adancau

0 pesartom Posted November 15 Posted November 15 (edited) Cant run texgen, somehow its throwing errors for "Error: OpenGL: invalid operation for . . .", tried the clean driver install and didn't help. I am on v alpha 182. It was working some hours ago. I do have pbr landscapes, but those errors are for trees that are normal vanilla textures. bug report: https://paste.ee/p/hEfu0 texgen log: https://paste.ee/p/joVdk Edited November 15 by pesartom

I already explained what to do, which did not include removing mods. The OpenGL error is not supposed to happen no matter what mods are installed or if textures are missing.

0 ozanty Posted November 24 Posted November 24 I'm having problem with 182. Before the update, I used and didn't have any problems at all. I'm attaching texgen debug log https://ufile.io/f/f0vyc

The last session showed not a OpenGL error but a Range check error, which is something else.
0 Splitpaws Posted December 6 Posted December 6 Texgen sse debug log https://ufile.io/l252nc7v texgen sse log https://ufile.io/z080q6ck No other logs where made. Ive run through the tips on the forum, ini changes, exception from virus program, updating drivers and nothing works. So id really appreciate some help.

If you do not select tree LOD billboards it runs through? Add GLListDebug=1 to the TexGen INI and upload new logs. I wonder if using driver version 561.09 makes a difference.

Both debugs logs show that both RenderSingle=0 and RenderTexturesSingleThread=0 are set. You do not seem to be using the test version from https://stepmodifications.org/forum/topic/20153-error-op
