Clicking on links in error message window does not open anything.

Clean installed Nvidia graphics driver v565.90 (WHQL) without any "bloatware".

I was having exactly the same problem and setting RenderBillboardsSingleThread=1  helped and made it stable, thanks!

When making a "me too" post, it would be helpful to upload the entire TexGen log and debug log (and the bugreport.txt if it exists) from the last run that has the error, preferrable with the test version and GLDebug=1.

Thanks for the info.

I think I lied, still having the same error from time to time.

Just got 2 errors in a row.

The last error logs: https://ufile.io/pld9pfrl

Now I'm getting OpenGL error in 100% attempts

I set GLDebug=1 and reuploaded the logs: https://ufile.io/gku3tj0d

Both debugs logs show that both RenderSingle=0 and RenderTexturesSingleThread=0 are set.

You do not seem to be using the test version from https://stepmodifications.org/forum/topic/20153-error-opengl-framebuffer-objects-unsupported/?do=findComment&comment=282545 only it has the RenderBillboardsSingleThread setting, however in your case I believe RenderTexturesSingleThread=1 should work in case the test version still does not work with default settings.

Thank you!

I think I misunderstood .ini files locations initially.

I successfully set RenderSingle=1 + RenderTexturesSingleThread=1 and ran it again and got a success. Logs: https://ufile.io/6l0ty5vx

Howerer JFYI , a few minutes before that I tested TextGen64.exe test version that you attached in

and got "Access violation at address <...> " error. Logs with that error: https://ufile.io/5on83l8e

Overall thanks for your quick response and have a nice day!

Hello. I am getting an error when running TexGen and I have no idea what it means. Can anyone help?

It comes up Error: OpenGL: F:\Game Tools\DynDOLOD\TexGen_Output\textures\lod\riftenlogdetails01 framebuffer objects unsupported.

Moved to the appropriate thread for the error message. Use search as explained in https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Use-Search.

Do not post screenshots of messages. Use the Copy message to clipboard and paste the message instead as explained in https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Copy-and-Paste-Text

Post the TexGen log and debug log as explained in https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Post-Logs

See posts above. You probably want to start testing with setting RenderTexturesSingleThread=1 in TexGen_SSE.ini.

I am having this same problem, and am curious if this is a AMD related issue?  I have a 7950 X3D with 48 gigs of RAM and a Nvidia 4080 Super.  The X3D series cores have a different way that they handle CPU cache.

Regardless, the set to single thread solution fixed the problem.

Read https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum

Before making "me too" posts, read the posts and answers to see if a similar problem was already sufficiently reported and/or an issue was already solved. If the answers or solutions do not seem to apply or do not have the desired result, report the problem or ask for help for an issue with the logs and information as explained below. Always provide logs. "Me too" posts without required logs and information might be ignored or removed.

Hi,

I just wanted to report, I'm using DynDOLOD Alpha 182.

I'm on Windows 10 Home 22H2, Nvidia 3080, drivers 560.94 and I'm not seeing this issue, and my TexGen_SSE.ini is all default settings.

I wonder if those experiencing this are on Windows 11? If I run into this later with newer drivers I'll report back, as well as then making the INI settings.

THANKS
