Skyrim AE SE failed to load after installing extenders

I have done everything right up until this error popped up when I tried to load up SKSE and attempt to go to Riverwood through the console, but unfortunately I encountered this error before the game could even launch.

A DLL plugin has failed to load correctly.

At a glance, it seems like perhaps CrashLogger.dll and ScaleformTranslationPP.dll isn't compatible with the latest version of Skyrim AE SE?

Correct.  The 2.1.0 STEP guide was written before AE was updated to it's current release.  They are currently working on the 2.2.0 version of the guide.  Use these newer mods which support the latest version of AE.

There's a few.  Best thing to do for the mods that cause the "DLL plugin has failed to load" error is search on NexusMods for an alternate version (usually the same name with NG after it).
