Heya
As the title says, whenever I make a "copy as override" of a record in SSEdit, it ends up being greyed out and empty. I am actually trying to make a patch so that an armour mod uses the sounds from "Immersive Sounds" but without this functionality working, it's impossible.
All other SSEdit functions work fine. Thats mind-boggling. SSEdit simply refuses to copy the records into a new .esp, that's it.
If anybody knows what's happening, thanks in advance for shedding some light.

When you copy as override into, are you selecting <new> under one of the available formats of interest (usually ESP or ESL) and then defining a plugin name without the extension?

Otherwise, review our xEdit guide command line switches and general stuff to see if you need to apply any of those.

Thanks for your answer, z929669
I made a reset of SSEdit to its default parameters as indicated in the guide and it seems to work now.
Pfeww ! Spent half the day to figure this out.
