What should I do if I'd like to install Parallax textures in the future?

Hello. I am following the S.T.E.P. guide, and noticed at the Flickering Meshes Fix mod that there are options for Parallax support. It appear that the S.T.E.P. guide does not have you installing any Parallax textures. If I want to install those at some point in the future is that okay to do? Will it disrupt the guide? Or perhaps I can come back at a later time (after installing, say, 2020 Parallax mod, and then enable the Parallax options inside this mod. Thanks~

The guide isn't made with parallax support in mind. There are several mods which you will need to deviate instructions in order to support parallax. Better Dynamic Snow, for instance, would need to be downgraded to version 2.11.0. There may be other issues as well. What I'd recommend is install the mod twice, once with and without parallax support, and rename the one with parallax support to have (Parallax) at the end of the name. Then only enable the non-parallax version while finishing up the guide, and once you have the guide complete, if you want to add parallax, copy the profile, and switch all the stuff over to the parallax version.
