So many of the NPC I see running around, which I'm assuming has to do with the ENB you use, casts a pink/orange like hue on their faces, and especially saturated looking in the bright light.

Here's an NPC in Whiterun, notice the pink hue to the face and hands?

This NPC doesn't look so bad, but before she sat down and was walking out in the direct light, she then was like glowing 2-3x more pink/orange then this, really bad looking. I've probably used around 15-20 different ENB since using SSE, and I've seen this hue issue, no matter what ENB I was using.

I see this all the time on many of the games NPC, especially the children, it looks so terrible, like these people have roasted in the sun... LOL

Anyone know if there's a MOD to address this?

THANKS

Probably not so much the ENB but Luminosity or whatever lighting color mod you are using. To test if it's exacergbated by ENB, toggle it off/on using Shift+F12

Shift+F12 , no more pink looking NPC... LOL

With the ENB enabled I turned off subsurface scattering, I read about it, but it didn't help.

Hmm

It's probably a bad reaction with one of your NPC mods or weathers. As I mentioned, if you follow the Step guide, you will have a great build as a baseline. Everything will look good.

I have pretty much a good baseline of SE already, and looking over the Step Guide, I have the basics in place.

I've been modding SE for around a year, this problem is pretty much prevalent in all ENB, and seems to be an issue ENBs bring on, at least I see it this way.

I do use LUX, and EVLAS, maybe LUX is also creating an issue here too.

So looking over the Step Guide, I really don't see what would pertain just to this problem... hmm

P.S. I ditched ELFX and ENB Light since there isn't any development on them, and LUX/EVLAS seemed like the future, since they're in current development

Just saying that I don't have those pink NPCs, so something in your LO is impacting, and it's not ENB. ENB is just not compatible with whatever is causing this effect. I would check all mods you are using that provide textures/meshes for NPCs.

I'd love to see a screen shot of the woman that's always over at Warmaiden's on your pc, what she looks like?

Here's how she looks to me;

She does appear, as if she's suppose to have a darker complexion.

I don't have any NPC mods that effect skin tones, I have nothing installed that would effect skin tones.  I personally think this is an ENB lighting issue, so many ENB out there have saturation, gamma, hue, and other various lighting issues going on.

Also, I don't see that there are a lot of really great ENB out there that support LUX/EVLAS very well. In the past week I've tried about 15, and they all had really bad light issues.

All I know is, if I disable the subsurface scattering, it's better, and if I disable the ENB, it's 100% improved.

Well, that's not the vanilla wonam at Warmaidens, so you have a mod changing the look of NPCs.

However, I do see what you mean about skin coloring with/without ENB, but I think it's much better with ENB. Without, people look like ... chalk. Pasty and unnatural. I will do some testing though to optimize the Step ENB, as I agree it's a bit harsh (but still better than without, IMO).

Yes, I agree, without an ENB, many of the NPC look really pale.

I do have a few NPC mods, my bad, but even without the NPC mods, many of them still look like this.

These are the NPC mods I have;

Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul SE
Women of Skyrim SE
UNP Blessed Body SE
TK Children SE
Modpocalypse NPCs - All Vanilla NPCs
Modpocalypse NPCs - Resources
