Lexy's: Legacy of The Dragonborn Special Edition

Most folks decided it was Form 43 mods casusing that problem.  If you followed Lexy's instructions for the mods in her list then you would have run all Form 43 mods through the CK.  Make sure the mods you are adding to her list are Form 44.

 

My personal experience was when I started adding mods right after they started becoming available was haveing the false corrupt saves.

Once I converted all my Form 43 mods I stopped having that problem and have not had it since then.

So I've just gone through everything I have and checked forms, including things inside merges -- no form 43 anywhere. Have you seen any other advice?

Nevermind, I clicked on fix errors and then it allowed me to build the merge.

Yes, I know. As I said, went through everything and checked for form, no 43's in the ones I've added for testing. Guess I'll just start the offloading process early and see if it stops at some point.

I hesitate to post it because some people say it does nothing.

 

But it is a Skyrim.ini change.

Here's the ini tweak that seems to help. Add or change these lines:

[General]

uGridsToLoad=5
uExterior Cell Buffer=36
bPreemptivelyUnloadCells=0
iPreloadSizeLimit=4194304000 (If you are on a system with 8GB of RAM or more)
bUseHardDriveCache=1 (set to 0 if you have normal, "old" hard drive" )
uStaticNeverFade=1
iPostProcessMillisecondsLoadingQueuedPriority=5
bForceFullLOD=1

[backgroundLoad]
bUseBackgroundFileLoader=1
bSelectivePurgeUnusedOnFastTravel=1

If you are on a system with 16GB of RAM or more, you can use this:

iPreloadSizeLimit=8388608000

If you are on a system with 32GB of RAM or more, you can use this:

iPreloadSizeLimit=16777216000

Do not include the parts in parentheses.

When I follow the merge directions for the Weather Merge and try to put in Weather Systems Merged - Consistency Patch it throws a lot of errors.  Are we sure it goes into the Weather Merge?

what errors do you get? The consistency patch mostly forwards and merges records from Audio Overhaul for Skyrim 2 - Vivid Weathers Patch otherwise that esp get mostly overwritten.

@Lexy, few suggestions/requests:

1. Put your current setup on modwatch

2. Add sections to the guide

a) In testing. So we know what's currently being considered for inclusion

b) Rejected. So we know what was considered and rejected, and why. This will help people who want to expand/deviate/tweak

found another mod i think we should try Immersive Movement https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/15649 looks interesting there is also a patch for wildcat

Thanks. I'm going to rip out some stuff I've had on my veto list anyway and then go back and re-do all conversions just to make sure nothing just went wonky. If it still doesn't work I'll try the .ini tweak, for science.

DarkladyLexy, your  DynDOLOD - Dynamic Distant LOD Generation  Ultra Trees setup directions tell us to delete all files in "<DynDOLOD 2.36 Beta 8 Path>\Edit Scripts\DynDOLOD\cache" except "becauseofreasons.txt", a 1-byte file that has no content.

 

The 1st step of Sheson's directions for generating 3d Tree Static Object LOD is to to either (1) delete DynDOLOD\Edit Scripts\DynDOLOD\cache\DynDOLOD_[GAMEMODE]_skyrim-tamriel_trees.txt or (2) just delete all files in ..\DynDOLOD\Edit Scripts\DynDOLOD\cache\.
