INI Tweaking Problem

I'm working my way through the guide and have come across the bizarre bug of the ini editot in mod organiser showing ini.prefs as blank.

Have you run FNV at least once to initialise the INIs and the registry settings? After doing so FNV will then use the copies of those INIs in it's own profile system.
