statmonster
If you would compare the brightnes to vanila brightness is it darker or even brighter? Not sure - it's been so long since I played vanilla. Let me go look. Overall it's (ENB Brighter setting) somewhat darker (than vanilla) but that really misses the profound difference. First the contrast between well lit areas and poorly lit areas is MUCH higher than in vanilla. In vanilla everything is lit up about the same - very bland. With the ENB Brighter setting the brightest areas (say a shaft of sunlight ) are much brighter than vanilla while the areas away from light are much darker; corners are difficult to see into. (Whereas in vanilla there's not really any difference seeing things in recessed corners versus near a light source - it's all about the same in terms of visibility.) So - overall a bit darker on average but mainly much higher contrast between well lit and poorly lit areas. Second there is a huge difference in the saturation - fires (braziers) and things they illuminate have a distinctly yellow-red color tone to them whereas in vanilla everything is sort of bland and gray. IMO there is no question that this (ENB Vividian Brighter) is better than vanilla. However whether it's better than the normal Vividian setting is a matter of personal taste - how much do you want to be feeling your way around in the dark? The overall effect when playing is that's probably not much harder if at all than vanilla, but the lighting looks MUCH better. EDIT - PS: If I were to continue using the default Vividian lighting setting I would seriously considering adding No More Chain Torture by ProtologolusX https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61499. I hate stumbling around in the dark looking for the hidden chain. Edited March 20, 2015 by statmonster Link to comment
danielleonyett
i was searching and coudn't find the anwser could you tell me?I just typed in "quest objectives" and read some of the posts. looked to me like there were a lot of compatibility issues with that mod, so I'm assuming that it was too much trouble. danielleonyett
Neo, you recommend the UNPB body and choosing "T/BBP or Bouncing". You also recommend the HDT mod and statmonster's armor mod for UNPB-BBP.Do you recommend those because they provide bouncing boobs and butts? I ask because I'd rather not have bouncing boobs and butts. Link to comment
Nozzer66
There's HDT mods for things like hair and cloaks, etc. I'd still install that and look maybe at some of those type of mods. As for the Bouncing lady bits... meh I can live without them. Link to comment
statmonster
Skipping installing HDT or BBP armors or clothing (such as MrTroublemaker's or mine) is not such a big deal. If you don't install them, all your going to see, in addition to missing the BBP effect, is that the proportions of high weight NPCs will be different when wearing some of the armors or clothing and there might be a few seems visible. This is because Exeter did not use a UNPB body for all of his meshes and I'm pretty sure Immersive Armors and aMidianBorn don't use them for any meshes. (I know I adjusted some of the aMidianBorn ones to UNPB, I can't remember if I modified any IA ones in the Lore Friendly set.) But I would recommend installing the HDT skeleton as without that any HDT mod you install will likely cause a CDT. I think we are likely to start seeing HDT capes, hair, equipment and other such items for which you will want an HDT skeleton. The XPMSE HDT skeleton also includes the new nodes for hooking weapons and equipment for shields, daggers, bows, quivers and swords. Edited March 20, 2015 by statmonster Link to comment
statmonster
I have turned off the auto-get-dressed function in Skyrim Bathing. I have reverted to the FNIS animations and checked the option to unequip all slots. So far I have not had any further shield-glitch issues. Here's hoping this fixes the problem - I'll post again if it returns. Edited March 20, 2015 by statmonster Link to comment

danielleonyett
i was searching and coudn't find the anwser could you tell me?ugh. I REALLY don't like the search feature in forums. I honestly try to find answers to my questions first instead of just asking. But doing a search for a term will NOT net the same results as searching for the same term, but with an "s" on the end. I have already mentioned this, but I just now found out that a post also won't show up in a search even if it contains a quote that DOES have the relevant term.... For example, someone asked about the mod and used the term "Even Better Quest Objectives". Neo quotes that post but then himself only used the term "EBQO" in his response, and so his response post NEVER shows up in the search for "quest objectives".... The only reason I saw Neo's post regarding EBQO is because I was searching for an answer regarding a different mod and happened upon that post where Neo was responding to multiple queries (and the EBQO reply was in the same post). ANYWAY, minos55, the point IS that I actually (edit: accidentally) found a post from Neo which states that the reason he isn't including EBQO in his guide is because it needs updating. On a side note - lol, I realize that the guide itself probably requires enough of Neo's time and effort , but it would be cool if there were a link in the guide to a list of mods that are NOT included in the guide along with why they are excluded. I KNOW - there are a TON of mods out there and I'm not saying that the list should include everysingleone - just the ones that people ask about here. So, like, when someone asks about EBQO, Neo can say "I don't include it because (whatever) so would you please add that mod and my reasoning to the exclusion list." It could be a page that is totally kept up by users so as not to add any more work for Neo.Just a thought. I don't know if it's actually feasible or not. Edited March 21, 2015 by danielleonyett Link to comment

statmonster
If I remember right, EBQO needs a lot of compatibility patching too. Link to comment
Jverv
Think we need an "Featured in Skyrim Revisited: LE" banner for included mods on the nexus! Just like GEMS. Who's a good graphic artist??!! SR:LE is updated more then GeMS and 10x more informational. 1 Link to comment

Dillard
So, I FINALLY finished the whole guide, installed everything and just wanted to run a test.Didnt get far...I started a new game, and the Character Creation Menu opens. The problem is, I got a weird graphic glitch: the menu only shows the eyes of the character, nothing else. Did anyone else experience this problem? Link to comment
