Pyke
Hi Neovalen, Kudos for your work. A question : may I use ELE-Interior Lighting Merged without an ENB ? Link to comment
Neovalen
Yes you can. Link to comment
Fereval
Hi, quick interrogation regarding Winter Is Coming - Cloaks. The guide recommends installing the "Only Craft" plugin, may I ask what is the reasoning behind this ? I'd actually like to see those thick cloaks worn by some NPCs, especially in the northern regions. Maybe I'm mistaken, and it's being take care of by CCOR or the Conflict Resolution ? If I'm not, can I add the plugin that takes care of the leveled list instead without breaking too much things ? Thanks. Edited September 12, 2014 by Fereval Link to comment
Smile44
The reasoning is that Wet & Cold distributes all the cloaks so the main plugin isn't needed. Link to comment
Fereval
Oh, that make sense, I felt that I was missing something like that to be honest :). By the way, I just completed the guide like 10mn ago (took me almost one week), well worth the "effort" if I can use that word considering how well guide is streamlined and put together.A profound thank you to the whole STEP community and of course Neovalen ! I will happily report anything out of the ordinary if I can spot any during my playtest. Edited September 12, 2014 by Fereval Link to comment
Smile44
It's freakish how long it takes to build these things, but with practice and with all the mods already downloaded a rebuild only takes around 6 hours including the CR patch, STEP much less time - it does get better. Link to comment
Ogham
Ullo Neo, Skyrim Coin Replacer Redux ( There is a meta.ini file in the package. ) Special Installation: Do not install the following file(s) and/or folder(s): meta.ini And maybe just for consistency with the rest of the guide. Winter is Coming Cloaks remove or set to optional via M.O. 1nivWICCloaksCRAFT.esp as it is provided by Winter is Coming - CCO Compatible Version Edited September 14, 2014 by Ogham Link to comment

redirishlord
Isn't the meta.ini file created by MO after installation, for each installed mod folder? Link to comment
Ogham
Yes M.O. creates the meta.ini. But this is in the file package of SCRR. Downloaded it 5 mins ago from Nexus and doublechecked again just now via the installer it is there :) Link to comment
Neovalen
That is odd because my local copies that I uploaded don't have the meta ini... Link to comment
Ogham
Hello Neo, I'm currently going through the Conflcict Resolution Block 4 > Sub-Block 3 > 03005EAA DLC1RedwaterDen02 > Temporary > 030148D7 Conflict Resolution: Use record from ELFX - Exteriors.esp then move the Z position from Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp.Problem Resolved: Floating candle fix from unofficial patches was not properly forwarded. If you want I can provide a screenshot. But ELFX - Exteriors.esp isn't showing any CELL confilcts. What I did was the following; Conflict Resolution: Use record from ELFX - Dawnguard.esp then move the Z position from Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp.Problem Resolved: Floating candle fix from unofficial patches was not properly forwarded. Faylon
When it comes to setting up DDSopt, the settings show two different constraint configurations, now which one do I take? The normal one or the alternate settings? All it says is "The Alternate Constraints tab settings are used when the user wants all the textures to use DirectX compression; this is not typically the case.", which doesn't really give a lot of information on which settings to choose. Neovalen
If your optimizing vanilla use the settings provided in the batch section. As for the rest of SR:LE use default setting (non alternate) unless otherwise specified. Link to comment
