Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

@Neovalen : Awesome, thanks!!

Well after updating both REGS and SRLE, (on a stable version) I'm experiencing CTD near Bloodlet Throne (when walking along the road to the thalmor outpost).

I've searched for a while, what can cause this but I'm not good enough reading Papyrus logs.

I've tried to deactivate REGS mods in this area but without any effect on the CTD.

So if any of you have an idea, I'm impatient to hear it. ;D

@Neovalen:  I know it's been said many times, but thank you so much for maintaining this project.  Not only is my game now freaking awesome, but I've learned a ton about modding Skyrim properly.

One question - how do I manually clean a  mod using TES5Edit?  I'm trying to update AOS to v2 and got stuck here:

Manual TES5Edit Cleaning Required:
Open AOS2_DGDB Patch.esp in TES5Edit and remove the following records:

  • 000139B6 DaedricDagger (Unnecessary Edit - Identical to main file.)
  • 07028333 DLC2EnchNordicDaggerTurn03 (Unnecessary Edit Due To Template.)
  • 07028471 DLC2EnchStalhrimDaggerChaos04 (Unnecessary Edit Due To Template.)

Open TES5Edit in Mod Organizer (MO). Expand AOS2_DGDB Patch.esp using the [+] to the left of the ESP. Find the record in the AOS2_DGDB Patch.esp. Right click on that record and select "Remove". Repeat for all the other records. When done select AOS2_DGDB Patch.esp, right click on it and select "Sort Masters" then "Clean Masters". If you did this right, only AOS2_DGDB Patch.esp should have changed and needs to be saved when exiting TES5Edit. If other ESPs are listed you did something incorrectly.

That's the thing.... I can't find those records in AOS2_DGDB Patch.esp.  I can find the Daedric dagger record in the main AOS esp, but I'm assuming that needs to stay.  The DLC2 enchanted daggers only show up in the Dragonborn esm (with form IDs that start with 03 instead of 07).

EDIT:  I think the form IDs started with 03 because I didn't load the unofficial patches, but I think that's irrelevant to my issue anyway.

More info:  the following four records from the SR Conflict Resolution Subguide aren't in AOS2_DGDB Patch.esp either:

03014FCB DLC1DragonboneDagger 0701CDB5 DLC2StalhrimDagger 0701CE02 DLC2BoundWeaponDagger 0701CE03 DLC2BoundWeaponDaggerMystic

I downloaded the "AOS DLC Compatibility Patch".  Should I have grabbed the "AOS DLC and USKP Compatibility Patch" instead?

Hey Neo.First of all thanks alot for a great job. I just have one little thing.

I'm doing the "Ill met by moonlight" daedric quest atm and entered Bloated man's grotto. Spoke to the dying hunter. But as soon as i enter the hole right next to the waterfall and pond, i get a ctd.

Right here:https://guides.gamepressure.com/theelderscrollsvskyrim/gfx/word/555668093.jpg

Works every time with your setup of mods. I have no idea why.I have another setup of mods that i'm using and that works just fine.

Turned out to be Realistic Ragdolls and Force that was causing my ctd's.Donno why, though.

Nevermind. The 4 aos2 records are not here.

Yeah, here's LoRd KoRn's response from the Nexus forums:

It's the new dagger specific sounds for draw, sheathe, impact that have not been transferred to the StalhrimDagger if I read that correctly. Oh the DLC comp patch is going to be the end of me!

It's not a huge issue, it just means that that one specific dagger uses sword sounds, as it always did.

I'm trying to add those records again. It got lost since there were many cooks in the making of that comp patch now Posted Image

And here I thought my noobish TES5Edit skills were to blame...
