Neovalen
Will look at it tonight hopefully but imagine you would use it instead of the aos patches version. Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk 1 Link to comment

DanielCoffey
When updating to AOS2, remember to follow Neo's guide in the Conflict Resolution.esp carefully. AOS2 brought a lot of changes to daggers. The wiki history will help you narrow down the changes. I must say that the current SRLE guide really makes the game not only look awesome but the feel is amazing too. OBIS adds such variety to the Bandit encounters that every time you think there might be Bandits ahead, you have to be careful and approach with caution! I have been checking my build on a save taken just prior to the exit from Helgen and the 3-bandit camp plus Embershard Mine have been different every time, often dramatically so. Neo - have you had time to think about that PM I sent about SLI issues last week? Link to comment
Booshki
I'm new to Skyrim Revisited but I've got a question, I hope this wasn't answered somewhere already (couldnt find it via search). After reading through STEP and Revisited, following every step in Revisited my Skyrim was looking great, but I had some stuttering here and there, due VRAM issues and the VRAM was always around ~2010MB and sometimes even at maximum (Whiterun, Whindhelm or areas with a lot of Fog), there wasn't any CTD tho.My question now, I know Skyrim Revisited is made for some of the beefier systems out there (especialy when I see the system of Neovalan), but would it be possible to reduce the VRAM usage a bit if I use "Bethesda Hi-Res DLC Optimized - by Vano89" or would this mod package add more conflicts with Skyrim Revisited then needed, like overwriting the wrong textures or something? And could I DDSopt some of the more taxing graphic mods too (was thinking about Skyrim Realistic Overhaul) to reduce the VRAM usage a bit more?Playing Skyrim at 1920x1080 on a Single GTX 660ti 2GB with Skyrim installed on a SSD. DanielCoffey
If you have followed the SRLE guide, you will have already optimised the HRDLC. The SRO that is linked in the guide is optimised too (2k textures, 1k normals in general). You could look at trying the performance profile for Vividian as on that GPU the main issue will be the struggle to drive the ENB. Shift-Enter will turn off the ENB temporarily so you can see the performance without it. Link to comment
Defaulteduser
Question about OBIS as it relates to SRLE. Have the unofficial patches been tried, or should I stick to 161C? In the posts, there's links to a file (161G) that apparently fixes the MCM menu, as well as a couple of little things. I think it will eventually get posted as the author of the mod is back and posting again, but it was changed while he was away. Just wondering! Link to comment

But the Vano89 pack is still confusing me somehow, since I already optimized the HRDLC 1~3 as said in the SRLE Guide (1k Normal Maps), there shouldnt be any real difference on the VRAM load, but after making a 3 Profile in MO just for testing purpose I was getting different VRAM numbers. For Example, my Skyrim with SKSE, Cleaned Vanilla ESMs and the Optimized Folders (Textures, Dawnguard, HRDLC1 etc etc) in the New Game Opening scene was giving me a max VRAM load of ~1010, with the Vano89 pack installed last (so it overwrites files in the HRDLC) I was getting a max VRAM load of ~950, for Vano89's Pack I was using this Option "Hybrid (1024+2048) + Hi-Res Secondary Stuff", so a small amount less VRAM use then before, so I was thinking that there are eventually some conflicts, that Vanos pack overwrites wrong files that are needed for SRLE maybe? Malouz
Hi guys.Sorry for this "repost" of a former question but I extended it.The new AOS version came with many (updated) patchs :- COT3.1 and DLC are needed as told.- For the others (EBT - GDO - RW2 - USKP - WAF Compatibility Patch - Wet & Cold) I assume not as they are not mentioned in the guide? Maledark
@Malouz: The others are already included in the SR Conflict Resolution patch (see the subguide). Link to comment
TehKaoZ
Hello Neovalen I imagine that you will be switching the guide over to use LOOT at some point (perhaps when it's out of beta). I been fiddling around with it but haven't actually allowed it to take over my load order. My concern is how it will effect conflict resolution/order of masters with certain mods (if at all). I don't think it would be a good idea to have such a drastic change to the load order mid-way in a play-through. Wonder then, if I should attempt to switch over to LOOT now, or keep BOSS despite it eventually becoming outdated. Link to comment
Malouz
@Maledark : Ok thanks. Just to be sure, does the SR Conflict Resolution.esp is updated each time you add/remove thing in the subguide? Link to comment
