Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

I'm going to try to get the file back up today. I was getting really annoyed by the people who weren't reading the directions' date=' then complaining about missing textures. Plus, I'm also restructuring the file in order to better accommodate certain long-term plans.[/quote']

Don't you have a banhammer at your disposal on nexus, just for cases like these?

Hi,

I am currently working thru the SR:LE and am at the point of adding the changes to the Leveled Item section in SR Conflict Resolution.esp.

At the first conflict which is:

00000EEF SublistArmorBootsDaedricBest05

Conflicting Module(s):

Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp

aMidianborn_Book of Silence_CCO.esp

Conflict Resolution: Use record from Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp then move the added

AMB items from aMidianborn_Book of Silence_CCO.esp and change the LLCT - Count to the

new total.

Problem Resolved: Leveled list conflict between Immersive Armors and

aMidianBorn Book of Silence - CCO Compatible Version needed to be properly merged.

My Question:

Do I move all the AMD records, which give me a lot of red conflicts and a total LLCT - Count of 20, or move just the ArmorEbonyBootsGold_AMB "Gold Ebony Boots" and ArmorEbonyBootsSilver_AMB "Silver Ebony Boots", which give me no conflicts and a LLCT - Count of 12.

If its the ones I'm thinking count of 12.

Odd issue today.

I added the last few days worth of changes, rebuilt Patches, SUM etc. However Skyrim would not load (stuck on the emblem but no option to choose a game), but it would if I disabled SUM. The issue turns out to be that SUM.esp had its master out of order. Opening it up in TES5Edit v.31 (but not v.30) allowed me to sort them, then it would load fine - I've never seen SUM have out of order masters before or had this issue.

Thanks Neo,

I sort of thought that a lot of red conflicts were bad.., but needed to check.

The colors aren't good or bad but a guide to whetehr the changes from an ESP are being carried through to the final game.  Someteims you want them to, other times you want another ESP to govern that issue.

Use the colors as an alert - they say pay attention here and make sure the ESP you want to control this aspect is the one that will do so.

Hey guys, can I have a little bit of help. I am at the step of SR:LE that I need to do a Boss userlist manager update to BOSS' rules.

However, I don't see ANY of the instructions that neo is talking about.

Standard:

Open Boss Userlist Manager.

Select the ESP to be ordered in the lower-left pane.

In the selection box below "ADD", select the appropriate operation type(AFTER, BEFORE, etc) as specified in the guide.

In the adjacent text box, type the target location as specified in the guide and click [save Rule].

Close Boss Userlist Manager and click [Yes] when prompted to save.

Override:

Open Boss Userlist Manager.

Right-click the ESP to be ordered in the lower-right pane and select "Create Override".

In the selection box below "ADD", select the appropriate operation type(AFTER, BEFORE, etc) as specified in the guide.

In the adjacent text box, type the target location as specified in the guide and click [save Rule].

Close Boss Userlist Manager and click [Yes] when prompted to save.

These are the instructions i'm looking at. Step one, I don't see any lower left pane, is he talking about MO? it says that MO is locked while I use BUM. If I open BUM outside of MO, I am still confused, I kinda have no idea what to click or what to do.

These are the rules i'm trying to accomplish:

SkyFalls + SkyMills + DG + DB + FS + WT.esp AFTER SkyFalls + SkyMills Total edition.esp

SkyFalls DB + FS Small Waterfalls.esp AFTER SkyFalls + SkyMills + DG + DB + FS + WT.esp

EDIT- Whoops - didn't see you were trying to do an override.

You need to add BUM as an executable in MO (instructions on this near the top of SRLE).

EDIT- Open BUM, wait for it to load, right click on Skyfalls...WT.esp In the bottom right of BUM and select Create Override. This makes it active and you will now see it in the upper left (and in red on the lower left too but that doesn't matter for you). Then on the right search for Skyfalls...Edition.esp. Double click on it and it will be placed under ...WT.esp in the upper left. Make sure the drop down next to ...edition.esp says AFTER. Click Save Rule on the right.

Same thing here. Skyrim loads but is stuck at the emblem, also, after updating days worth of changes and building the patches. I'll have to try your fix.

EDIT: Just a quick note, sorting SUM.esp masters also fixed my problem. Thanks.
