Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

My personal best option would be to "clean out" the entire forum section and make a new SR:LE specific section where I can post some stickies, etc and prevent another gigantic thread. Example: Ogham's post up above. I may just add a note similarly to the guide though. :)

Right now it feels like we got people coming from SR and SR:LE when SR is unsupported now.. etc. Ah well, I do plan eventually to make multiple threads instead of this gigantic thread. Cleaned out or not

When we move over to IPB, we'll likely close this one (and other really big ones) down and propose a revised forum structure overall anyway. Just wanted to prime folks for that.

You could put notice on SR that it is unsupported anymore.

Well, pardon my sticking nose where it doesn't belong, but you could already make sure help posts are moved (with strikes if multiple times offenders arrive) to the support forum*. Just my $.5. You could make also one-post sticky thread for pure announcements and so on.

ssl, out

So I just reinstalled Skyrim and it seems much more stable even though I didn't uninstall any mods... I just installed the game, the programs that belong in the main folder (skse, Tes5Edit, Wrye Bash...), cleaned the esms and that's it...

Can the Hornsareforever.esp be deleted?

Neo, some great additions lately to SRLE!

Btw, I think the hornsareforever.esp is a dummy esp, it only has a file header.

Yeah delete it. I will fix... oversight it was late.

The general forum staff have not really been messing with the SR subs too much. Neovalen et all control it more; However, when we move, we'll house it in a format such that se can assume better control over OT posting and topical categorization. (if that is what you are suggesting).

Also' date=' why move to Invision IPB? I'm genuinely curious.[/quote']

Much better admin functionality and overall better community XP.

Noticed by the way when DDSopting Dagi-Raht with DXTx and 2048x2048 (which is same characteristics as the textures are orignally in) that it creates (missing) mipmaps (from 2 to 12) and that it converts unecessary DXT5 textures to DTX1. Might be small saving going from approx 13mb to 8mb but still :P

Hey Neo, I think you should add Hunterborn. It's was updated a couple of days ago and the author said the next update will come with Dragonborn support. With this mod you'll have a complete survival-immersive experience.

Oh great, had seen that one and was interrested, but saw on a thread somehwere here that the mod author was quiting and offered to share his work to someone to pick up the gauntlet.

That will be two to add on to my list > "Camping Kit of the Northern Ranger" will see an update soon as well :)
