Do you know any good Wrye Bash learning resources? 

Also check out the "Wrye Bash Pictorial Guide" by alt3rn1ty on the Oblivion Nexus site.

Says was updated last month on the 10th, so perhaps these might still be of use too   :cool:

Ya, I've fixed this I just need to upload the new version.  Was waiting cuz I'm making a couple more patches as well.  I'll get on it, or u can just delete in in SRLE-LotD CR for now if u want.

Ok I can add a delete flag for the picture record ton the next CR update for now. 

 

Okay, so I went through the prerequisites page, went with ENB Boost as I don't normally like to use an ENB, installed the first two mods.  Game runs, everything appears fine, but the intro scene is a bit borked.  Sometimes the cart goes flying.  Is this just because the intro is a bit toss or did I do something wrong?

this usally means VSync is turned off.

Could be Helgen Reborn.  Try starting a new game with the Helgen Reborn esp deactivated and activate it once you are far away from Helgen and a few in-game days have passed, or use an alternative start.

Veezy, that's almost surely what Lexy's suggested. Skyrim physics get a little bit hinky when the frame rate gets >70 or so. Thus why we suggest using Profile Inspector and setting frame rate to 58.6 or so.

this esp only contains the updated records so you will still need version 1.51 make sure this loads after 1.51.

 

I hopefully have caught most things I know off apart from this:

 

22. There is an abandoned house east of Fort Greymoor, which is turned into Winch the Handy's house by VIGILANT.  The quest Azzarian's Gold (added by Interesting NPCs) has you go this house to find a safe in the fireplace.  Because of the modifications to the house, the safe is inside the walls of the chimney and unreachable.

 

cos I don't know the formid's if some could tell me them and if possible move the safe and give the XYZ coordinates that would be awesome. Otherwise I'll have to play Vigilant up to that point and i might take be awhile to fix.

I do not know if this has been report before, but when using all the landscape mods, the unique meteorite from Legacy does not appear, if my case I just consoled it in.

what is the formid and i'll have a look since i am in editing and CR mode?

I made a mistake, it is from Skyrim Unique Treasures, the formid is XX000DDA, where XX is the load order of Skyrim Unique Treasures.

ok there doesn't appear to be a conflict in xedit can you give me the location and screenshot so i can go find it in game?

Upon further digging, I have found that Groundup is causing the issue. In my load order Skyrim Unique Treasures is loaded before Groundup.

 

Have check the LOOT rules, all is OK.

well Groundup is part of he Trees and flora merge and Skyrim unique treasures is part of the collectables merge for me the collectables merge is overwriting the trees merge in the right pane without a LOOT Rule but you could add one for you load order.

 

Edit: My bad no it's not and i didn't have it activated i'll double check everything now.

 

You are indeed correct and I was wrong I'll have a play and get that fixed.

 

I decided to forward the landscape change from the Collectables merge Formid xx00FC5F so this will be folded into the Next CR update.

I have updated the TEST CR in the Dropbox grab it and test it out for me.

Hello everybody,

 

First and foremost, thanks to the authors for such a great guide!

 

I did some modding (100-150 mods in my load order, no major packs or guides) till I quit Skyrim about two years ago. So I have some basic knowledge, but nothing in-depth. Coming back, I realized I couldn't switch to SE without SKSE being released. So I took a look around and found this guide - almost perfect for what I want! Just needs a few tweaks. I have a few questions regarding mod compatibility and performance:

 

  1. I can add additional sound mods like Sounds of Skyrim after starting a new game to tweak everything to my liking without ruining the save, right?
  2. Are city mods like the Dawn of Skyrim series even an option with such a heavy load order or will they force the Skyrim engine to it's knees? If they are an option, which one might be the most compatible with the lowest performance hit?
  3. Is there any need for the Female Vampires Have Fangs fix or is this out-dated by now? Back when I last modded Skyrim, it was pretty much a staple.
  4. I am thinking about adding Immersive Hold Borders. But I am unsure about the performance hit. It is mostly compatible with Hold Border Banners.

 

I plan on adding these mods to my installation. Any opinions? As far as I can judge, the performance impact shouldn't be very high. The Camp mods and Battle Aftermath might cause a bit of stutter when entering the cell, but not much more. What do you think?
