I started to re rewrite of the top section until I noticed My FPS were poor https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Gernash/test My issues seems to be a combination of power management issues with the Nvidia 1070 and my OLD school motherboard and how precombined meshes work. I got distracted and have not gotten back to it (Playing with settlers atm and getting annoyed at low poly meshes and default clothing and armor textures) -

@rayhne 4K skin : are the column names tiny in all skins including the BOS skin I made? https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17375/? Vault-101-BOS-V2.0.1 Merge Plugins [drive letter]\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\data\scripts\Source if it's not there then this gets created when you run the creation kit from the 1st time i believe -

Well, cant expect the jokes to be any good. Broken settlers that interaction doesn't work with IO found were unassigned settlers you need to go into the build menu press "R" then assign to a settlement and they work. The roach issue with UFO4P seems to have resolved itself after loading the older version saving and relogging then updating. Must be a bung script. Still working on why settlers only wear 1 item of clothing bu default -

Hmmm, older version they don't turn roaches but remain pod people....need to start at this i think try recycleactor on a settler as a test if they glitch out use ~ qqq to quit without save but I added all the cloths cant test though no CBBE for roach -

Sooo the recycleactor made one of my settlers into a roach.....hmmm is there any other command to reset a Settler? -

INNR weapon naming and spawning has been fixed for ages now. (thats the drop on ground tab into workshop, If not working then scrap thing) I've not had issues with those scripts at all just the settlers it spawns were potato -

Disabled settlers are still present ingame i.e. Prid ID Disable you can "call them back" the equipment is usually broken weapons for the INNR changes and and equipment for the INNR as well I've disabled extra settlers in Don't call me settler as well just in case. You can tell they are faulty as you can't trade with them or they don't wear cloths etc. I think it's to do unofficial F04 patch scripts as I've not had the issue before. just in case check settler equipment and swapout faulty gear -

Sooooo, was getting tired of the potato settlers.. I made up a mod list for them so there are more unique faves and names (Partially because better settlers is offline.) What I thought might have been the dont call me settler bug (cant interact with some settlers cloths dont work etc. turned out to be because the weapons and armor have been remade and what the had would not reset so it bugged them out, zzzzzz ~ then click on the broken settler write down the ID go to a Nice peaceful place type prid ID then moveto player then apply gentle loving blunt force trauma You will find they have bugged equipment. the next settlers to spawn will be fine. Also I went through and fixed the equipping bug for all settler types. I'm just doing the new clothes swap and I'll post up the patches/updates. -

FPS drop is inevitable with altered cells. It's the nature of the beast.(how the FO4 engine handles it) I've been chatting to SMB92 As he is doing the same type of thing. I'm just prepping by learning the different issues you encounter and workarounds before I begin the generations and when I start I'll add a few more World space mods that are popular. (enhanced vanilla not peppy/bright/slooty ones) -

Are you using an ENB? if so have you tried disabling it ingame in those zones? I've noticed FPS loss in rooms with many HAVOC enabled objects. I did ny early testing using a GTX580 and got 40+fps can you tell me the exact location I can check it out. -

Interiors are to do with the mod author I do not touch that. I'm assuming you are talking about the instance door that takes you to the building interior with all the shopping trolleys in it? Some mod authors have set mob levels and are not based off your level. in the Worldspace the D.E.C.A.Y mod sorts the spawns. -

Good question Its a creature that keeps evolving...... I made the wiki as a howto for MO2 and a few mods as proof of concept. Then people started to use the mods, so I added to it. The CORE section is about enhancing the vanilla experienced so textures that don't erase the vanilla feel and mods that add to the base game or mods that are used by others as pre requisites. i.e. 3dscopes. The Addons bits is my attempt to solve the Hey I want modern weapons how can I get that working etc? I use the MODWiki in my game play and recently I've been annoyed at the FPS so I've devoted a large block of time learning/understanding the why and wherefore so the next iteration will include that knowledge. Lighting/ENB - I have a rough outline for that to act as a base for most people but I think I'll include a Monitor calibration section and how to with nifty phone blue filter contrast calibration etc.(wizardry I tell you) I do not know where it's heading I'm just letting it drag me around everywhere. The stuff I post in there I test and replicate on 2 separate machines so There are repeatable results (trying to avoid blind copy/past and if I do there is usually a reference and link to post) (APART from the WIKI base info which is a copy and paste from KESTRA's FORUM PAGE) Because it all started with "KESTRA and Hi I wantz to make wikki can I steal you stuff?" -

Ahhhh, I copy and paste FOMODS soo that is an error on my behalf, I'll correct it. thanks Nice will fiddle with it tonight. (spent 2 days playing with CK and Version control will need to locate a Team guru to explain some of it-reverting back to vanilla CK) -

I'll be making a list of "scrapping" mods that will be compatible with where the wiki is going. I'll only recommend ones that scrap objects that objects from created recipes otherwise you will need to use fPlayerDisableSprintingLoadingCellDistance=0 if you get the "sprint bug" and I do not want the wiki to run at 20-30fps. (I've been asked a few times about scrapping mods and I'm not a huge fan) Scrapping an area into dirt and breaking the pre-combined mesh is a big nono. i.e. cant save in zone/cel reset etc. I had a look at Scrap Everything and it's solution to worldspace is similar to the "Chuck Noris" approach I use. But the base world space patch I've been providing causes FPS loss (it is expected and the primary way everyone dose it,with a twist) so I've been looking into ways to remove the issue that these methods cause. i.e. the fps loss. Enter precombined meshes. I'll still supply a base worldpatch to sticky-tape it all for those that will not yield. everyone else I'll have a MASSIVE patch that basically replaces the Precombined worldspace of all zones touched but those mods. and you will have all the FPS. Playing with Mods I've seen the different styles used and what I've decided to accept the dark side (mmm deleting base objects) I'm not here to correct Mods or point out oopsies so I'll just blast all conflicting issues and make navmeshes to suit the newly placed objects. I've tested deleting objects and have not found any issues, saving/loading in cell, porting to cell, changing cell back into vanilla then loading in, saving vanilla cell and loading into modified cell tested in and out of PA. ​If there is any other issues that can Occur with deleting vanilla objects please link the info and I'll check it out. But I believe the FO4 papyrus is mighty. -

download the patch and hover the mouse over it in MO2 it will tell you the dependencies Are you looking to alter image space values for water in DLC? the textures are the same there and NARC alters under water "vanilla style" if you want tropical blue water everywhere there are mods out there for that. in the forums it is a re-upload by Kestra and I believe Sparrowprince is no longer modding (I do not know the story)
