Hi guys, Just saw the note about about Windows10 DX9 4GB vram limit :-( That explains why my current SRLE playthru from Dec '15 on has produced such a FPS drop and stagger outdoors. I thought my new pc w/980Ti 6mb would handle all the 4k options I chose during my SRLE install... ah now I know why it's choking. My question is - since I'm (yet again :-)) building out another SRLE + Darth's LoTD should I be creating a dual boot WIN 7 just for Skryim modded? I have a 1TB SSD so space shouldn't be a problem. Will the VRAM boost using WIN7 be a no brainer over what WIN10 caps you with? Are most of you still powering away with WIN7?

Error message while opening MO v1.3.11
Quahogs replied to Quahogs's question in Mod Organizer Support
That did the trick, how no idea but I'll take it, thanks! -
The ordinal 4430 could no be located in the dynamic link library C:\program files(x86)\intel\iCLS Client\ssleay32.dll hitting OK and after a pause the MO launches and the game runs fine. It occurred after an abominable forced upgrade of God knows what (using WIndows 10).. There seem to be a slew of similar issues involving other programs but in googling didn't see anything involving MO. Any ideas on how to correct this? Thanks.

Is there a mod that... (Mod Detectives)
Quahogs replied to rootsrat's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Is there a mod that ... slows down the health gain after taking an injury? In the past I used Requiem and that's a feature I enjoyed for the realism. Only way to improve health is to apply a poultice and sleep. That and potions game you a temp gain. But I'm back to vanilla without an overhaul and wonder if there's a mod or tweak for that. Thanks ! -

I'm going to take Darkside's advice or I'll never start. Teabags's HB overhaul sounds great, so that with Frostfall's eventual 3.1, First seed, Immersive Citizens AI for enemies and animals... the future looks really bright though. -

Well I can't wait much longer... I'm ready to dive in. So what DOES keep you warm with 3.01 just armor? Looking to add Hunterborn on top of SRLE...any issues with that one that anyone knows of? I've been on their nexus forum but not sure if their issues are user based or are basically non existent on top of a clean SRLE. -

Good question! Ha, you won't last a week though in the harsh world of Skyrim with purple people and floating objects. You'll soon be back snug in the wam comforts of texture comps and conflict resolution! -

Seems the issue is with DYNdolod.esp... after I run the program. If I uncheck the esp the floating fire is no longer there. I've run Dyndolod more than once and have the same issue. No way I can figure this one out...so floating fire in my world it shall be! -
Okay... figured it out, kind of. Like I said at one point I had it working fine while I was working on completing SRLE. Well the issue is in the SR conflict resolution esp file that I download and install straight from Neo's wiki. I unchecked that and Bijin works just fine. <EDIT> Ok, it's not the CR resolution file. What I did was when I unchecked that I also had to uncheck DYNdolod and Asis.esp Well it seems the culprit is Asis.esp. That's the one if I leave unchecked Bijin will work. Let me re run that patcher with Bijin installed and see if a new ASIS.esp fixes this issue. I'm sure everyone following from home is saying... "Well yeah, duh" <EDIT> re-running SUM patcher for ASIS took care of the issue, I now have Bijin...everything ! Thanks Darth much appreciated !
-
My Optimized Vanilla Textures are in BSA... just seems strange that they win out over the bijin files even though they say they are overwritten.
-
Does it need to be ahead or behind a certain SRLE body file in the left pane? It looks like it's overwriting only Optimized Vanilla textures no matter where I put it. I do have the specific setup you state (8 nifs and hair folder followed by 2nif and 2tri) although I have Adelasia as the first name not Aela. I basically have all the War-Wives-NPC alphabetical under the character dir.
-
No go :( No pink bodies or anything, just the neck line on some of them. But faces are the same. Does it matter where you place bijin merged file in the left pane? How about right pane - I don't have the companions_improvement.esp for the meshes... / facegeom / skyrim.esm folder I had to combine all the *.nif files in the one dir.
-
Another question, when creating the subdir under Bijin Merged should it be like this : Bijin Merged / Warmaidens / Meshes etc etc Bijin Merged / NPC / Meshes etc Bijin Merged / Wives / Meshes etc <with textures along too> OR Bijin Merged / meshes / actor / character / ...and then the list of unique characters for War, Wives, NCP with their specific Facegendata ?
-
Ok, question... after I move the assets from the warmaidens, wives and npc folders just leaving the esp file do I then activate those 3 files too?
-
I made it through SRLE with my limited skills...lol... your layout seems straightforward to me thanks. I'll let you know how it works out.
-
@Darth, on page 3 you pointed out to DL both the Bijin AOI and the Bijin AOI Legendary for USLEEP users. Under STEP 1, 5th line do mean to do both? Thanks <EDIT> rereading the message I realize you were pointing to the same file so nevermind...

It's funny how LOOT works, I don't have any other mods installed on top of SRLE yet it's different (notice ELFX plugins are higher up) than NEO's and some others who have posted... -

Well I'm done with my SRLE build and have come across this issue. Is anyone familiar with what mod might be causing this? It's a flame source in the Great Porch that's in mid air. Is it a SMIM issue maybe? I don't know if something hanging is missing or if it's floor base and out of whack. Thanks all... -

Not 100% sure about the merge process. For example the RSChildren merge. After the successful merge it looks like the new file -----RS Children Merged has all the assets of of RS Children Overhaul and the 3 patches(booksofskyrim, Falsk, Wyrms) Except for the ESM file. So in this case I can uncheck the three patch files but I need to keep RS Children Overhaul checked in left pane unless I move the ESM to -----RS Children Merged. Is this correct ? -

When I ran the Merge Standalone program it wouldn't initialize for me. It seems like ALL esps that are patches must be unchecked. It does tell you which esps are tripping you up. Once I unchecked them I was good to go. -
Thanks! I will follow your Steps. Do you think it was the changeover to USLEEP that tripped me up? Man I spent weeks trying to figure it out - 1st time installing it there, then 3 days later gone. Your modlist on top of SRLE looks great, thanks for posting it. I plan on adding a bunch of followers like Vilja-Inigo-Arissa-Sofia-Hoth because they seem very compatible to SRLE from what I read. The most challenging mods I plan on adding is Hunterborn,Scarcity, Hearthfire extended and JK Lite. At some point Scarcity was used in one of the morrowloot packs so I'm hoping conflicts ( If I can't resolve anything) will be minimal. Every day I postpone my playthrough I seem to find more mods I want to add :) But SRLE looks fantastic and I'm psyched I was able to get that in place. Everything on top of that will be gravy!
-
Ok so it wasn't as simple as a plug n play. I see you made your own CR? That's a skill I haven't come close to mastering. As it is I DL Neo's CR esp and just run with that. I'm taking a chance adding more mods and not figuring that out so I try to stick with the simple ones. What kind of CR did you have to do with Bijin?
-
@Darth, following your posts intently as I have a pure SRLE(as far as I know save for some patch merges) and have been kicking around some mods on top of it. I'm wondering if you're using USLEEP and RSChildren? - I assume as much? The reason I ask is that for some reason I can't get Bijin Warmaidens to work for me. The first time I dropped it in I had no issues (I didn't have a complete SRLE) but once I finished SRLE Bijin stopped working - no matter how many times I re-installed and ran LOOT (even just choosing 1 esp Lydia) I can't get the face/body. It's possible it worked for me prior to me updating to USLEEP but I can't recall for sure. Perplxed.

ahh neverthemind. finally got. Was chasing my tail, as usual. I simply wasn't using the latest V of java per the instructions because - Sum didn't see DSR which confused me and when I came around to running the DSR patcher separately I was experimenting with an older v. of Java. Another Q? though. Are there supposed to be two Asis esps ? asis.esp and ASIS-Dependency.esp ? -

Quahogs replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Simply confounding. I'm pretty sure I have the correct Java and process since I have SUM working with ASIS and the binary path etc is set up just like DSR's. But SUM doesn't see DSR and I get a Java virtual machine launcher "a java exception has occurred message as I try to run DSR's patcher separately. Are you guys using the latest DSR v 1.7.3 dated NOV 7 ?
