  1. Hey guys, can you put next to the ''Download BAT files referenced in the Guide'' some info, especially when it was last updated so that it's easier to know if there is a new version of the batch files
  2. Hey guys I want to start a new game but I won't until the guide is in a very stable version which won't get updated very often. Considering that the batch files are almost updated every day, how long will it take to reach the stable stage?
  3. Bro, we have a success the new ''prepare textures for optimization'' now runs as it should....or I think it does. A note : I double click the ''hrdlc removal fix start'' batch file to get them working(you recommend ''run as administrator''). for the prepare textures for optimization'' file i click run as administrator to get it working(you recommend to simply run it). anyway, that's somewhat weird. I haven't touched the new vanilla folder archive batch files yet.
  4. Robocopy is in System32. About the path, should I just type ''echo %path%'' in cmd(as administrator?) or something else, too. What should I do check when I run the command?Should Robocopy.exe be in SysWOW for 64 bit? Pardon me If this is a stupid question.   6. Then maybe this should be changed in the batch files too because all these lines were copied directly from them. As for the n.dds files I'll assume everything is alright considering everything is done based on the commands you created.

Is that normal?
  9. Did you try the steps listed in this previous post yet? Whoops!!!! I ran the command and I think it actually worked!!!! No errors appeared. It created the vanilla optimized>std>textures>interface>books directory and in it the correct files(based on the vanilla extracted>std>textures>interface>books directory. So, we have a success! what should I do now?
  10. I cannot believe that this is happening. For once more, the exact same thing happened. Nothing new. I really don't know what's wrong. A question, did you also update the HRDLC Repair batch files or they are the same files from the last update?
  11. As Kelmych stated in a previous comment, the problem might be with administrative privileges. In your instructions for the hrdlc repair you say that we have to run the start batch file as administrators. When I ran the batch file as administrator by right clicking on the file and then choosing the ''run as administrator'' the file wouldn't execute properly. But when I simply left-clicked on the file it ran fine. For vanilla preparation batch file you don't instruct to run it as administrator. I tried both ''run as administrator'' and just left click the file options but neither would execute properly. A note about ''run as administrator''': the file runs for a few seconds but it won't even create the folders.
  12. Unfortunately, the new batch file didn't work. The same thing happerns. I have Win7 64bit.
  13. Did the log.txt file show any errors? Did the batch file run for a long time or only briefly? The initial file copies are made to the STD folder in the Vanilla Optimized directory; were any files copied there? Roughly how large (Mb) is the Vanilla Extracted folder?log file is completely blank. batch file ran for a few seconds then closed. batch file created 4 folders 1.vanilla normal maps 2.vanilla optmized>std 3.vanilla textures>hrdlc1,hrdlc2,hrdlc3 4.vanilla uncompressed normal maps>hrdlc1,hrdlc2>textures>terrain,hrdlc3. Â Â Â no files were copied to any of these folders. vanilla extracted folder after hrdlc was repaired is ~12,6 GB (~12.903 MB). keep in mind that i have dawnguard and dragonborn dlcs. from these dlcs I only extracted the textures not all the source types.
  14. The batch file for preparation of the textures doesn't seem to work. It creates some folders (some with subfolders) but with no files within.
  15. Yes, I know about the ddsopt guide but how can we choose to use 1024 for exterior etc and 2048 for interiors, weapons and armour? a guide on how to do that would be really appreciated. :)

  18. The guide is on a wiki so under Page Tools at the top select History to show when it was changed and to look at previous versions. Some of the changes are annotated. Is there a particular set of changes you were interested in? Right now we are making some changes in the vanilla texture optimization steps in the DDSopt Optimization tab. There were comments that the procedure was a bit tedious and error prone. We have also been looking at a better set of resolution/format parameters for normal map texture files. This should be finished very soon.No, I just couldn't fing any changelog. Anyway, thanks for the info, man. You guys rock!!

Merge with Even Better Quest Objectives. - How do we merge them? 2)About FCqt's ASG-AWE-SkyRe Patch.esp I don't use animated weapons enchantment. should i still use his patch or leave it? 3)Are you planning to integrate unofficial skyre patch into the guide. tendo supports it and qotsafan is planning an update which is compatible with it. (im not very sure about the last one :p)
