I found these posts and it got me thinking that the problem might not be just script lag: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/3fw00g/skilllevel_up_menu_opens_extremely_slow_any_idea/ https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/3xtmpu/help_noticeable_lag_only_while_loading_the_perk/ I'm not running Summerset or Interesting NPCS but following their logic I tested this by changing Legacy of the Dragonborn (my largest esp) to an ESM and sure enough my load times are normal again and the skill menu lag is almost completely gone with both DynDOLOD and DSR running. *Not that I recommend this (someone with more experience should chime in). I might have just broken three things to fix one but it's food for thought.

It seems to be a combination of both in my load (which now is Extended + legacy of the dragonborn and supporting mods minus Interesting NPCs, player houses and followers). With both and DynDOLOD and DSR enabled I get 3-4 second hang opening the skill menu. With either enabled by itself I get 1-2 seconds. With both disabled it seems to be mostly gone. I also am having load time issues on this load. Some loads are taking several minutes. Testing reloading a save game from an interior cell: 1:20 - with Both DynDOLOD and DSR 0:40 - with DSR disabled 0:35 - with DynDOLOD disabled 0:07 - with both disabled

I just did this. Its not so bad if you are willing to do your own CR. You will need to remove Book Covers SkyrimBook Covers Skyrim - Lost LibraryMoonpath to Elsweyr I also removed Interesting NPCs to offset the string count impact from Legacy of the Dragonborn.

I had a similar problem a few weeks ago after upgrading the Vivid Weathers ENB. It turned out that I had somehow borked something up in the ENB files. Wiping them all out and rebuilding per the guide fixed my issue. -

OK, I did an initial test on every script mod in Extended + some misc mods I had installed. The test parameters for each mod were: -Start a new game -Wait for everything to initialize -Start any mod that begins disabled -Use the statue > camping in the woods -Wait for the dragon to go over the horizon -Save game https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zjZ71wAaCv8WhNSMNNYsHpx-0DKRX8plvCnY-mpQkQk/pubhtml -
If you don't make the change it won't be game breaking. It is just a fix for the lighting in that particular area. There is really no reason not to fix it though.

Thanks. I have been wanting to add MLU for awhile. I am going to start a new game with this as soon as I rebuild DynDOLOD again. I'm curious, in your setup did you use the updated uncapper .ini for Ordinator in the MLU patches or stick with the original?

You will also need the appropriate MLU patches for the mods in SRLE extended and then create a merge named "MLU patches merged.esp" I used the Morrowloot portion of the Delevelled Loot guide for creating the merge and adding Loot rules.

I had this happen but only the first time I exited the MCM after installing on an existing save.

So I started a new game play testing MLU. Playing a female character the first thing I noticed at the forge was the North girl and EC armors seem really overpowered for low levels.

I am thinking 2 esps would be easier for you to maintain. That way you wouldn't have to update the MLU patch every single time you updated the SRLE extended CR patch. -

I would like to see MLU. I tried adding to my load a month or so ago but it looked like the CR was going to be beyond my skill. Most of the other stuff from the deleveled loot guide that isn't already in SRLE-Extended I have already integrated. -
Yeah. I have had this happen before. No idea what caused it. You should be able to fix it by pick-pocketing a torch or something off one of the guards outside and then pay off your bounty. It should reset whatever flag got triggered. There maybe a better way to fix it but this has worked for me in the past.

hmm, the only thing I can think of is that your not waiting for the load to finish. Does it say "Background Loader: finished" in the lower left corner? -

I had a similar issue. I would CTD on death reload about 90% of the time. Manual reloads almost always were OK. It turned out to be an FPS counter overlay I enabled in Nvidia GeForce Experience. I also disabled Steam overlays but I don't think that was causing an issue but I rarely used it. Edit: unbelievably, I think removing these overlays fixed another annoying issue that I was having. Whenever I set my DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB to above 1152 my HDT Physics would stop working. Unfortunately at 1152 I would still occasionally bump into the the limit and CTD. Since removing the overlays I bumped it backed to 1280 and so far no issues. No more overlays for me.
