  1. mmmm you could check the original SRLE Extended guide https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Darth_mathias/SRLE_Extended that had Spice of l life stuff on it you may also the original CR which i believe is available on the Nexus page. He hasn't ever said he was upset with it and I don't see why he would be we have given him enough credit after all and freely acknowledge that we used his guide as a base for ours. He is still active he has recently been updating his Witcher 3 guide and he has just brought a shiny new GTX 1080ti. He said he won't be updating the oldrim SRLE base anymore as he has switched for SSE but like a lot of us he is waiting for SKSE64 (could be waiting awhile) and the SSE mod sense to mature.

  3. you can actually leave at 100 all that does it make the grass less dense. Also to everyone else I was breaking down a silver spear whcih i believe is from Heavy Armory - New Weapons this yelded a Steel Ingot now as it was Silver surely it should of given a Silver Ingot. Or does the fact i currently have no blacksmithing perks make a difference (didn't think it did)
  4. as far as I know the version from the Fallout 4 page is the most up to date so best use that one.
  5. go to your profile and on the Picture clcik the button that save Change then clcik browse and upload a jpg it that simple. yes i do like the new hair do reminds me of my own hair i had at university hehehe (I am also a natural redhead).
  6. Thanks. Well actually did do a Darth suggested and placed the merge at the bottom reran dyndolod and carried on not seen any issue yet (but I am still early game). Personally I really don't like Grim Grasses and think it should be dropped we have too many grass mods as it is Verdant is good enough. I have even decided to drop Grim Grass from my own game. I have not been into Elgergelam cave yet but I am heading that way so I'll take another look. One other thing you could try is load up xedit find the form id for the horrible white fluffy grass add to a new patch then add a deleted Flag to the record header that will effectively delete it from the game without having to mess around removing the mod. I am also really hoping someone anyone will convert Landscape Fixes For Grass Mods by code1k https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/9005/? to Oldrim but it not that easy going the other way.
  7. i am actually quite amazed if i do say so myself just clocked up nearly 12 hours on my new play through over the last few weeks and not one CTD. True I am only level 7 and only done a few quests for the companions and got the dragon stone just waiting for the dragon to attack Whiterun tower (think that time needs to reduced 6 days is actually a long time in game maybe it should be 3). not even hit Solitude yet but i am in Morthal now so i might as well pop along since i am in the area. I am currently running with Toccata, Sofia, Arissa (just sent her back to Whterun), M'rissi's (also just sent her back to Whiterun) and just picked up Anum-La The Swamp Knight.
  8. well that's a bummer so basically you would need to recreate the mod from the ground up and somehow I don't think the mod author would want to do that.
  9. yeah i wonder is possible to back convert a mod ie i know is possible to from Older skryim to SSE but can you go from SSE to older skyrim?

  11. seem like the issue was having in riverwood is being caused by Verdant now to figure out why. Edit: AHH all the extra flowers from Verdant that are clipping are annoying think we shoudl just get rid of them and only have the grass stuff from the mod or we should serious consider changing it. To what don't know at the moment. Edit 2: i think we could get ride of Verdant and install Enhanced Landscape grasses and plants https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68782/?. the optional file does require the main file plsu it looks a little better and at least to me seem more fps friendly. Edit 3: we even re-add Enhanced landscapes it was actually originally part of the original SRLE Extended it was drop due to performance issue but i beleive that was more use you our Rig then that mod plus re-adding would have the add bonus of reducing the grass and floria mods. what does everyone else think?

  13. As far As I know the ranks system is tied to the number of post you have made. So the higher number of posts the higher your rank. So in the grand scheme of things the ranking system that STEP uses is unimportant really.
  14. you should be able to add that mod no issues you even add to the miscellaneous merge too. I have also added to our testing list so thanks for pointing it out. did you by an chance forget to run BethINI? cos you should of had that in there when you ran that.

Training Dummies and Targets - Falskaar Edition - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38094/? we could even add this to the miscellaneous merge will test it out a report back. Edit work is mod author describes leveled up Archery one handed and Destruction just take a while whcih it should. and it works merged too i say we can add.
  16. try setting iMinGrassSize to like 100 and see if that reduces it for you.if if slow drop the value until it pops back in again.

Well the idea is once you got your game stable and you have actually started a play through you really should stop updating your mods and just play otherwise you'll just endlessly mod and never play the game (why do you think Darth has never completed the game cos he is mantaining the guide Neo was actually the same). Plus if you are always updating as the guide updates that will increase the risks of completely breaking your save. As I have now started a new playthrough I have stopped updating my MO but Darth has a second completely separate one so he can maintain that one.
  18. if the clean masters option in TES5edIt is not working but the Report Masters script it not reporting records then you should be OK to just remove the mod from the file header that is a more dirty way of doing.
  19. @ JUNKdeLUXE sorry for not getting back to you but I have actually be quite busy. another option you might want to try but as a last resort is to console command you way past that part of the quest as I believe that cave is prone to be a bit buggy. This option i really only suggest trying as a very last resort though. Your problem may have absolutely nothing to do with Helgen reborn but another mod entirely whcih i also have absolutely no idea i suggest doing what JD says to do first.
  20. maybe for some reason ENB brute force has turned on try pressing Shift+B and see if that helps.
  21. Ok for your info SirJesto i just met a farily large pack a wolves on the road to Falkreath Toccata and Sofia engaged and the wolves just ran off quite a long distance. took me age to catch up in the end i had to console command them dead.
  22. I will add this to my test list and if you ask nicely maybe SirJesto would consider adding to the patch central and even the merged Patch that he take care of for us that way no extra esp. (I am all for a lower esp count).
  23. OK been testing out Equipment Hud that was suggested I think this can go in as it works without issue I also merged into the Heads up display merge too so no extra esp I will make my recommendation to his Lordship later tonight.
  24. actually i think the reason the file are missing not cos Neo removed them but because Dropbox updated there server cos we lost all our link too a while back. but as Paul said Neo hasn't update since last August and i doubt he ever will now your best bet now is to use either Paul's guide or mine and Darths guide.
