What if I'm using the STEP:Extended? How do I know if there's something that's not working? D:

Thank you everyone, but I've alredy got it working.. I was like, "there's no way I can do this".. But I had to do that so I just grabbed the entire folder and move to D: How hilarious was.. I mean, MO is really flexible.. I tell you, when I opened up Mod Organizer, a message appeared "blahblahblah there's no skyrim folder anymore blahblahblah" so it lets me pick the new one and boom, there're still the Profiles.. Then I went to the option and change the Mod directory to the new one and boom, now i got back the Mods.. Last but not least i went to the latest save and clicked on Fix Mods and boom, all the mods I had before back activated.. Just to be sure i replace every old path with the new path in the Windows Registry and even Steam and BOSS are working correctly now.. Well I never ever thought it could be so easy :) EDIT: I also had to re-activate those mod that had no esp, like texture and models, and re-order the Conflicted mod.. it took me a bunch of minute..

It looks like a lot of work.. Does anybody have other idea?

Hi all, For space reasons i've to move Skyrim from my SSD to HDD, so it comes the problem that i have to move my whole Skyrim installation from C: to D:, a grand total of 25.6GB, which include Skyrim files, Mods installed.. What do i have to do? Can anyone help? I think I'll have problem with Mod Manager links, will I?

I believe is just adding two Strings divided by " - ", and adding entry in the dropdown menu, isn't it? It's adding a 4th entry which is "Mod name - File name"
-
An example, look at the picture attached.. You see, i've downloaded an optional file, a patch for, that has it's own name which is "Ethereal Elven Overhaul Patches - Interesting NPCS".. When I install it I get those 3 options, which are the MOD name itself, or the name of the file.. I'd like to have a 4th option "Ethereal Elven Overhaul Patches - Interesting NPCS", since I've a lot of patches and I'll lose too many time to rename all of them..

Hi all, I've been recently switching between NMM e MO quite a lot.. Feature-wise MO wins, so now I'm on MO again.. What bother me most is that all the downloaded files aren't well organized, they're just placed in a pane, listed by their file name.. NMM keep every single file i download in a much cleaner way.. You'd say, why don't just install them so they're organized as well.. The point is, I don't install every single Mod I download, mostly because my SSD can't handle that much space required, it's just 128gb and i've already a lot of others programs installed.. So yeah, i'd like to request a better views of downloaded mods, I believe i'm not the only one who has this problem.. I obviously know it's a lot of works, so, just keep the idea for a future implementation.. Another thing that bother me a lot is the way mods installed are named.. There're 3 option, one with the Mod name, one with the file name and another with file name + version.. What i want is an option which combine "Mod name - file name" I think this request is really a light request, even programming wise, i believe it's easy to add a 4th option which combine the first 2 option, isn't it? If you don't have time to spare for this, could you point me the way through your source code, so i'll try it myself?

Could you add another option in quick install menu? Example: "Ethereal Elven Overhaul - Interesting NPCs" in this menu:Â

"Query Info is really just a workaround, users should really prefer to download through MO so they don't usually need it." What if i've a lot of mods on NMM and i want to try out MO? I can't do it because there's really too many mods with this problem.. Also, could it be possible to have a view of downloaded files that looks like the one on NMM? I have a lot of mods that i don't want to use right now, but later, and since a lot of them are named like "all npcs" or "bsa blablabla" or "loose files" +numbers, it does make me a lot of confusions.. Yeah, blame on those authors, ok, but would it be nicer with a clean, organized view of downloaded mods? EDIT: Also, talking of NMM feature, it would be cool too if optional file are called correctly. Example with Prince and Pauper mod: there's the core file, so yeah i can choose to call it "Prince and Pauper" while installing. I've to install the optional which is "Hearthfire Multiple Adoption Patch", and I've two choices, or the Mod name or the Optional file name. If you can, please, add another option with "Mod name - optional file name" so it would look like this: "Prince and Pauper - Hearthfire Multiple Adoption Patch".

Hi, I'm looking for a method to auto query info for every mod i've downloaded (but not installed, i mean just the .zip) with NMM. (Picture speaks better than words themselves): https://www.dropbox.com/s/bh3h4zdivlaw22u/mod-organizer-query-info.png I've a tons of zipped mods, and i was wondering if i could avoid right-clicking on every mod and press on "Query Info".
-
What happened to the mod? What happened to all the mods he made and to the author?

Hi, I've downloaded tons of mod on NMM, can i import them on MO? Also, will MO name correctly the mod after i downloaded form Nexus like NMM do? example: Mod: Road Sign File downloaded: dirty_v1.3-232434-12.zip Mod name: Road Sign - dirty_v1.3

Wrye Bash lacking wizards where NMM has them

Intresting.. I'm surprised NMM don't support that feature.. Wrye Bash isn't that userfriendly, for me, but it's useful for bashed patch at least.. i think i'll move on MO.. -

Are you sure about that? Why the NMM team hasn't implemented such an important feature yet? -
Skyrim won't start with optimized BSAs

I've used Optimizer Texture (https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12801 ) for compressing BSA and everything still works fine, i've optimized textures too.. You could try it..
