  1. So I tried to stay a new game today, and even the tested method of console suicide won't quell the crash on save now. It won't even let me save at the intro screen after all the miss load up. I have a character ruining atm with which I can save no problem though, but this is still infuriating
  2. So what mod uses the extended horizon mesh? it doesnt overwrite anything and i cant find a single instance of atmosphere.nif in the game, also when i open it in NifSkope it says "Unknown property: BSSkyShaderProperty"
  3. Thanks for the replies, but that's what I meant when I said I changed some things, I turned on allow lockpick without perks in the requiem MCM. how does lock bashing work? Do I need to be a certain strength? I do admit now that I've allowed non perk picking it kind of breaks some things, I picked several master chests and my dungeoner skill is pretty high now, plus I'm walking around with enough cash I needed to turn my follower into a spare wallet. And I'll place those patches back I my merge with the true storms stuff. EDIT: I do have MFG console installed along with jaxonz positioner, I've only personally seen two floating lanterns, both in solitude, one right outside the gates to the museum, and the other hanging in thin air on the right side of the stairs as you walk in to the museum walkway. Sadly I disabled the one outside the gates, but I left the lantern in the walkway so I'll get that for you. Other than that it's just been doubled up lanterns in cities, and I even have the BITW patch so I'm not sure why it happens, but I just disable the non moving one each time.
  4. Got my first real long sit down playing as the guide is set last night, and I'm officially converted. The little I had played around before yesterday had me questioning wether I had made as mistake in going requiem, as I had never played it before, and I found myself utterly helpless against even simple mudcrabs and the like. But I realized that's the magic of it. Without requiem I always end up as a stealth archer cheesing my way through the game because it gets the job done fast. Now, I had to spend hours hunting animals and herbs, crafting things, trading items with vendors, enchanting things etc.. Just to get myself up to a level I could invest a few perk points in the right spots, and now I can handle some basic bandits, but still get am my Ass handed to me on a semi regular basis, but have a couple followers with me for some help. In the past I've never once leveled any of my magic to a respectable level, now I'm finding it really helpful. Learning to be patient and time my attacks, or successfully roll away from one, as opposed to just spamming arrows at them. I have changed just a few things, like the inability to lockpick without perks, I understand the reasoning behind wanting you to do it, but I'm just not going all the way back through a dungeon for that chest. Add side note I'm not sure exactly, but as to my earlier about nights not being dark enough, I went back and redid the merge exactly add you posted without the wlso_ectv/radioactive esp's or the true storms patches, and my nights and interiors are appropriately dark again. Anyway HUGE thanks to those if you that worked/are working on this guide, with the SMC pack and the ECTV, PCE, Radioactive interiors, I barely recognize this game in many places. It's fantastic.

  6. Never mind this. It's not what I wanted. So I removed the NPC overhaul from this guide and followed Darth's instructions for his NPC retexture version 2 and renamed the downloadable esp to the same as this guides, cleaned the masters from it, fixed the errors, and it works just fine and looks great! Only real issue is the reqtificator doesnt take over several things when applying the restore npc visual script, but that only took a few minutes to do manually.

  8. i mean like say i wanted to use a different ENB that doesnt support CoT. how do you add CoT weathers to an ENB?
  9. Random question, how would someone go about adding weather lists to an ENB that doesnt have them?
  10. I'm finding doubled lanterns all over riverwood, with one being static and one that blows in the wind. Along with lanterns floating mid air. But the player.Kill method seems to have fixed my problem, I can sit the game down and log in and save successfully no problem. (Plz don't jinx myself)

  13. SO after many attempts to correct it i have a fatal case of crash on save. not sure where to start.
  14. Am I not supposed to make treeLOD=0 in the dyndolod ini? usually i would make 3d LOD with the EVT Billboards but DDL would just freeze. only when i switched to TreeLOD=1 did it complete.
  15. UPDATE: So i was originally trying to generate with TreeLOD=0 because I'm using enhanced vanilla trees and wanted to use the 3d LOD, but once i switched it to =1 it completed successfully. Wonder what I'm doing wrong the other way
  16. do you mean the xEdit log? https://www.dropbox.com/s/bh7pnw8iu311n1g/Log.txt?dl=0 it isnt giving me a dyndolod log, only the texgen so i fixed everything i could and tried to run it again before coming back to post, but now it doesnt give me any error at all, and just freezes
  17. Scratch the last bit, doesnt matter if i remove CCOR or not, it just hits that line in the script and stops dead EDIT: I even tried the old 2.21 version and got the same error...

  20. I reconstructed the merge, and now my game works. I continued on to generating dyndolod, but it threw this error about 6-7 minutes into the process: "Exception in unit userscript line 322: Assertion failure (C:\Delphi\projects\DynDOLOD\wbImplementation.pas, line 4201" google gives me nothing. any ideas?
  21. Something very strange happened. My merge plugins folder disappeared. I still have the executable, and when I open it my profile is still there, but none of the merges I made for this guide are inside it any more, even though plugins that belong to merges show up as being part of a merge in the left panel.
  22. So doing the merge as you posted now causes me to crash on save, where as that wasnt a problem before. also of note, is almost every light source IE lantern is doubled throughout the towns and villages, but that was happenening before i tried this new WLSO config.
  23. Do I not need the CoT DG+DB Patches? If I do should I merge them? And am I supposed to only use the enb files from Phinix or do I need one of the CoT+AOS+TS+ESS+NLA .esp files? and if I need it, does it get merged? Sorry for any confusion...
  24. i went back a dozen pages + and can't find theconfig you speak of, did you mean in the other SRLE LotD topic? and while i'm at it, do i install the WSLO CORE package like the page describes, then this config you mention?
  25. Just reporting back to say i found what i needed and my missing texture problem is solved. the game looks gorgeous. I'm going to screw around in game like this for a while until the WSLO section gets updated so i can use the requiem realistic darkness + CoT + Phinix combo Thanks again for everything!
