  2. Okay guys. I'm locking my load order and I am going to do a "complete" playthrough. Finally. I'm going to play an Imperial female War-Priest, based off of No Snakes aLive's War-Priest build from Tamriel Vault. Mace in one hand, Restoration spells in the other. I plan on 3-5 acolytes (followers) with whom I can heal, direct, and command whilst I dole out blunt force trauma to mine enemies. All in the name of Mara. I plan on: destroying the Dark Brotherhood (no murdering my emperor), thwarting Ulfric's coupe d' etat, blocking Alduin's attempt at menu expansion in Sovngarde (wish I could give Durnheviir a vacation), cleanse Skyrim of it's Sanguinare Vampiris epidemic, eliminate that heretic Miraak, and finally; crusade to eliminate the artifacts manifested by the Daedric Lords and annihilate them by throwing them into the Aetherium Forge. If you've read all this, thanks for your indulgence. I leave you with the following excerpt from John Prine and Steve Goodman: 'I hate graveyards and old pawn shops, for they always bring me tears, I can't forgive the way they've robbed me of my childhood souvenirs".
  3. Recorder, while a good follower mod, was just too immersion breaking for me. I've been looking for a replacement for her. Maybe I'll give Vilja a go since she does as prevously stated, "have interactions" with Inigo. '
  4. Took me awhile to figure that out also man! Congrats. I just hit 2003 hours, and I still have neither finished the main quest in it's entirety, nor completed Dawnguard or Dragonborn. Damn Modding Community!!! LoL

  8. I had it set that way, and Steam threw a warning saying it (Steam) wouldn't work, so I turned it off. Just did what you said and it worked. Thanks, what a headache. Steam Lies! LoL. I'm glad I didn't have that problem with Skyrim. Lost my darn Non-Steam version of Oblivion during a move a few years back.
  9. Hi all, Feeling nostalgic and was going to set up and play an Oblivion build. Thought I would try this one minus the FCOM stuff, tried that once and it was a disaster. I am stuck at OBSE. It will not work. I've googled, searched, tried the old Windows Vista obse_loader.exe fix, and followed the OBSE readme instructions, installing OBSE Data folder, obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, obse_steam_loader.dll, with Steam Overlay turned on and off and tried it with obse_loader.exe also installed. Both OBSE Test Plugin and RefScope say it's not working. I'm on Windows 7 64bit and using Wrye Bash and Boss. I'm about to pull my hair out. Any ideas?
  10. Razorsedge877, The merged plugin in is supposed to be deactivated, the author of the program even states not to activate them if not necessary. To update or rebuild an already created merge, all you have to do is: 1. Place all the esp's required for the merge in the correct order at the bottom of your load order and activate them (do not activate the already merged file). 2. Fire up merge plugins and deactivate all, activate the esp's to be merged at the bottom and highlight the entire group. 3. Right click on the highlighted esp's to be merged, click masters and select activate masters. 4. If the OK button does not light up, scroll up until you see esp's in red italics (not bold text) and activate those, your ok button will come on. 5. Click ok, once all mods are loaded, reset errors, check for errors on the esp's to be merged, then go to the merge tab. 6. Your previous merge will be highlighted in green, right click and select rebuild merge. Wallah! your done. You can do this to add new esp's to an already created merge the same way.

  12. Before I jump in and do this, I want to ask if anyone has tried merging any of the CCOR Patches? We have several now, if not I'm gonna jump in and give it a go. My main concern was that they may have files not suitable, and my modding experience, while improving, is still not near the level you guys are at.
  13. Wisethug, I have those also, but I believe its from one of the mods (Weapons and Armors Attributes). For example; if you are wearing helm, armor, boots, and gloves, you will have an entry for each item due to each one having an effect, and if you are wearing a mix of say cloth and light armor, you can see the separate effect for each armor piece.
  14. I agree. I don't imagine I'll be using the new one anytime soon anyway; until more stuff comes out for it. Just wanted to let folks know. However, I won't be playing any new games (maybe Witcher 3). I'm one of those folks who plays what he likes for a very long time, and there is still so much in Skyrim I haven't done, I keep creating different characters or changing my mod list. I still haven't even finished the main quest in it's entirety and I've got 1944 hours according to Steam. LoL.
  15. You all may have already seen this, but in case you haven't, Gopher posted this video on June 22nd, HERE. Basically he says that there will be no SKSE (for weeks or months) and no SkyUI (for a very long time, if at all) for the new Skyrim Edition coming out later this year.
  16. Unless it has been updated to be compatible with Vivid Weathers (assuming you use Vivid Weathers) the answer is no. Otherwise I believe your answer is yes. Neovalen stated it would require a patch. I suppose you could try and make one, but Neovalen may be better suited to answer the question.
  17. Try loading up merge plugins. In the list that pops up, makes sure the mods you want to merge are in the proper place at the bottom. "Uncheck All" , then check only the mods that you want to merge and highlight them, if the okay button still doesn't light up, right click your mod group and select check masters. Then scroll up, any mod name showing in red italics needs to be checked. This should solve your problem. Missing mods from the merge list indicates improper merge order, improper load order, and some others.
  18. If Wildcat turns out to really be good, it could replace both Combat Evolved and Vigor or be combined with one or both. Kinda cool.

Darth, unless it doesn't apply anymore and I missed a reference, You might want to put a note on the Bashed Patch section or the Less Leveled Loot section about rerunning the Less Loot AP Quickchange 2.5 script and applying that restore script each time you re-run the Bashed Patch. It has been some time since this was discussed and newer people coming in may not know about it. Just a thought, not trying to be a PAIN. LoL
  20. This! Oh so true, been there and done that with mine. And on the Animal Tweaks/SkyTEST thing (yes I know I'm late) I say drop animal tweaks too. I had several issues just trying to merge it and get it to work.
  21. Just a note for anyone experiencing the flickering light bug in Alternate Start - Live Another Life. I found this fix in the SR Support Forum HERE It fixed my problem and I have played about 24 hours with it and saw no ill effects. Check it out, if those lights bother you like they do me it can solve the problem. As the OP states not sure if there are any longer lasting issues by applying it. If anyone else has tried it with ill effects, let me know, but it has worked so far.

  23. Darth just a note when you have the time, you may want to remove the "Remove the SkyTest Realistic Animals and Predators.esm we will be using the one from SkyTEST Integration Project" since SkyTEST Integration Project doesn't provide that esm file anymore.
