As I was polishing my setup as I started to realise there was several conflict between the mod added in this guide and those in Skyrim Revisited that are not covered. I decided to make some quick patch for my self and figured I might as well share them back if it can be useful for anyone else. You can do whatever you want with the patch aslong as it stays in the forum. Download patch pack here I will not go into deep detail for every patch but i'll try to resume what was the conflict and where to put them in BUM. Skyrim Redone High Level Enemies (non-scaled) Immersive Weapons I also re-positioned BCS-SkyRe Patch.esp after: qotsafans Miscellaneous ReProccer + Destruction Tweak Atronach 50 Patch.esp in my BUM. It had one entry overwritten by qotsafans Miscellaneous ReProccer + Destruction Tweak Atronach 50 Patch.esp. Not a big deal anyway. :) -

It looks like an improvement, but jeez 1366x768 really. :) Definatly go for the Skyrim HD 1k my estimation would be ~300mb freed from your ram. You can go for the Serious HD 1k too but if your patient you can test out Skyrim HD 1k first. You might want to look at your Anti-Aliasing setting also, If it's at 8x you might want to drop it to 4x. And if you are setting it through your nvidia driver make sure your anti-aliasing setting in Skyrim laucher is set to 0x. Otherwise, I think the anti-aliasing can stack from your nvidia driver and skyrim launcher.

If you want to be 100% sure your texture setup is stable you can try doing this: Fast travel to windhelm from anywhere in Skyrim and loop the following a couple of time: Enter the candleearth hall inn, leave.Go to the apothicary in market area of windhelm, leave.Go to the castle of windhelm and enter the infantry barrack, leave.Repeat 1Ideally you shouldn't go higher then 2.9gb.If it pass the test then you'll know for sure your textures are good to go and you can focus on something else.
-
For your *core* texture pack I would recommend you to go for full 1K (not just normal maps). In your case Skyrim HD 1k and Serious HD 2k + 1k normal should be OK. For the HighRes Texture pack you don't really have the choice to go for Bethesda Hi-Res DLC Optimized by Vano89, otherwise it will eat a huge chunk of your vram. In my setup I run full SRO 1k (my core), Skyrim HD & Serious HD 2k + 1k normal and Bethesda Hi-Res DLC optimized (Hybrid + Vanilla Normal Maps). And every single other texture mod I use are optimized (when possible) 2k texture. I run @ 2.7gb at peak and overall 2gb-2.4gb.

The question is, do you have CTDs with only textures activated? If you don't, then start adding section of mods until you start having issue. I would be surprised if your problem don't show up before your finished product. If everything is fine till you add your final touch (probably Bashed Patches, SkyProc & FNIS) then your problem should be in there. For the ram usage, the ~2.4gb shown in your skyrim performance monitor screenshot should be good enough. It looks like the number I'm getting.
-
Did you try testing different part of your mod setup individually? For example, if I had unknown CTDs and I'de suspect my textures being the issue, then I would disable all mod unrelated to textures and move from there and test, test, test until it's stable. If the textures are not stable (hitting 3gb, vram cap, etc) then there is no point in activating more mods Once I get textures stable, I start activating section of mods. For example "Unofficial Patches", "Other Fixes", "User Interface", etc. Although you can assume these shouldn't cause problems. Section of mods that I would keep an eye on would be: Automatic Variants Based Creature ModsStandalone Creature ModsAnimationThe Symphony of SkyrimHow The Game Is Played In SkyrimAnything SkyProc. So basicly, start with textures mods only and if it's stable start adding "section of mods" in. There's so many possibilities of problem in computer that it's hard to pin point. If you get issues with only textures then it could be corrupt textures or software & hardware problem. Modding Skyrim is more cruel then having an heartattack because you got hit by a Minty Lightning while fighting an horde of enemy.

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Yes, reverting back to 1.6d works fine for me too. To those using 1-7b, please try to fast travel to the Hunter's Camp and tell me how it goes. -
If I had to guess, I'de say it probably conflict with RLO. EDIT: I checked it quickly and there is no conflict with RLO. However Cerwiden have clearly not been updated to be used with Dawnguard as it seems to override 29 Dawnguard random encounters. Quickfix for Cerwiden conflict with Dawnguard. Warning: This mod does not carry forward changes from the various DLCs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Adding CC-DLC01 Patch.esp to BUM. --------------------------------- It's possible to do the change without a .esp patch but, as it's a quickfix, it's much faster and practical then doing it manually.

Anyone have tested the new XP32 version in-game? I'm having CTDs with it and some people have reported the same. Basicly, I removed the Belt-Fastened Quivers standalone animation from my MO and then installed the new XP32 version.I loaded a save game and it worked fine but then I tried to fast travel to Hunter's Camp and I CTD on the loading screen. The author said he didn't have the issue so maybe its related to other mod in Skyrim Redesigned. -
I forgot to mention one big thing. If you are not using Bethesda Hi-Res DLC Optimized by Vano89 (Hybrid + Vanilla Normal Maps), I'm pretty sure you will never make the 3GB cut unless you make huge sacrifice over several mods. You can also try disableing Book Cover for interiors performance if u struggle there but it shouldnt be an issue with Hi-Res DLC Optimized.

First-of-all, thanks to the creator of Skyrim Revisited, Neovalen. It's really an amazing in depth guide that bring modding to a new level. After going through all of his guide, I learned a lot and decided to share back a small addition I did for myself. Here it comes: Vilja in Skyrim Revisited fashion. Download the MAIN Files and the optional Vilja in Solsthein (if you have Dragonborn). Install as normal with MO and place it under Werewolf Mastery in Installed Mods. Notice: IF you are not using ASIS, you can skip this notice and go to the first Warning. ELSE IF you are using ASIS, then I recommend adding EMCompViljaSkyrim.esp to the blocklist.txt following these steps: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IF you are using ASIS without SkyRe Repoccer: Right-click on "ASIS" in the Installed Mods pane in MO.click "Open in explorer".Go to "\SkyProc Patchers\ASIS\Files\".Open "BlockList.txt" and add "EMCompViljaSkyrim.esp" below the first line "==MOD BLOCKS==".ELSE IF you are using ASIS with SkyRe ReProccer: Right-click on "SkyRe ReProccer Compatibility Patches" in the Installed Mods pane in MO.click "Open in explorer".Go to "\SkyProc Patchers\ASIS\Files\".Open "BlockList.txt" and add "EMCompViljaSkyrim.esp" below the first line "==MOD BLOCKS==".Warning: This mod does not carry forward changes from the various DLCs.------------------------------------------------------------------------ Warning: This mod does not forward some fixes from the unofficial patches. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Warning: This mod has an ESP conflict with Realistic Lighting Overhaul. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Adding VIS-RLO Patch.esp to BUM. --------------------------------- Warning: This mod has an ESP conflict with Sounds of Skyrim - Civilization ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Warning: This mod has an ESP conflict with Realistic Lightning Overhaul and Sounds of Skyrim - Civilization ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Warning: This mod has an ESP conflict with Sounds of Skyrim - The Dungeons ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Warning: This mod has an ESP conflict with Realistic Lightning Overhaul and Sounds of Skyrim - The Dungeons ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Adding VIS-SoS Patch.esp and VIS-RLO-SoS Patch.esp to BUM. ------------------------------------- Changes since last update are shown in white bold. -------- UPDATE -------- 05-25-13: Added another node to VIS-RLO Patch (00054B6F). Thanks statmonster. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Added new patch instruction for conflict with Sounds of Skyrim - Dugeons. Thanks to Luinithil. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Added a node to VIS-RLO Patch (00016776). Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The "select" patch under Realistic Lightning Overhaul and Sounds of Skyrim - Civilization conflict should have been VIS-RLO Patch and not VIS-SOS Patch, thanks Kal. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Fixed minor instruction issues. 05-24-13: Added new patch instruction for conflict with Sounds of Skyrim - Civilization. Props to Luinithil for letting me know.

In my setup, I was unable to use SRO with 2k and 1k normal maps. I had to switch to full 1k SRO otherwise I would always hit the 3gb limit in my test run. My recommendation would be to go for: Full 1k SRO.2k + 1k normal for Skyrim HD and Serious HD.Use max res for any other mod aslong as its not higher then 2k.Use DDSopt to optimize everything with Note 1 in this guide. If it's not enough, use DDSopt to reduce normal maps by half of everything with Note 6 in this guide. In my setup, I never went past 2.7gb of ram and most of the time im at 2.2gb and that's without the last step. My test run consist of fast traveling to windhelm from anywhere in skyrim then loop the following: Entering the candleearth hall inn, leaving.Going to the apothicary in market area of windhelm, leaving.Going to the castle of windhelm and entering the infantry barrack, leaving.Repeat a couple time and you will quickly know if your setup is well under the 3GB limit. If you want to test out infinite loading issue you can also add this in between loop: Fast travel to markath or other citie and enter/leave one or multiple cell in the city.Fast travel to exterior cell and enter/leave them. (I use Eldeream Sanctuary)Fast travel back to windhelm. My setup seem stable atm but i'm still having the unevitable? infinite loading screen after a while of doing my "infinite loading loop test"

wanted Installing ASIS and SkyRe with some additional stuff

I have a question concerning the semi-automatic setup of the SkyProc addons: I have executed SUM but aftwerwards I still have some ReProccer related patch .esp remaining: ASIS-Dependencies.esp ReProccerDragonborn.esp qotsafans Ars Metallica Patch.esp qotsafans Miscellaneous ReProccer + Destruction Tweak Atronach 50 Patch.esp qotsafans WIC-CraftOnly ReProccer Patch.esp are these included in the SUM.esp or I have to individually enable them? AFAIK If I activate them I CTD on menu but if I don't it works fine.
