Here's a quick example of the flickering. This is only present when ENB is enabled. Also, it's not just isolated to the face, but the whole screen and environment. EDIT: Another example: -

I will change the few textures I have at 4k and download the 2k versions. Â I believe it was only the ones I mentioned. Yes, I am using RealVision ENB. Â I did everything exactly by the book, following SR. Â I will post a youtube video of my flickering when I get back in from cutting the grass.... lol. -

I turned off the ENB and the game ran like butter. Â So, it's definitely an ENB issue. I have a pretty stout computer system, I should be able to run ENB. Â If I can't then most people shouldn't be able to lol... Â Here are my computer specs: -ASUS Rampage IV Extreme LGA 2011 X79 E-ATX Motherboard -Intel i7-3930k CPU @ 4.3GHz -G.Skill Trident X Series 32GB (Timing: 7-8-8-24, Cas Latency 7) DDR3 1600MHz RAM -(2x) Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 6GB Vapor-X Graphics cards in Crossfire. -XSPC Raystorm 750 RX240 Watercooling kit -(2x) Intel 520 Series 6GB/s SSD Hard Drives (120GB for OS, 180GB for programs (aka Skyrim)). I used 2k textures mostly everywhere except I believe I used 4k for Dragon bones, spider webs, and the whiterun trellis. What could I have done to have the ENB completely bomb my game and system? -

Okay, just finished SR and booted up the game for the first time. First issues I have: 1.) I'm getting some pretty extreme flickering on my screen. At first I thought it was originating from maybe the torches/candles/fire, but when I get into an area with no fire what so ever, I still have my screen flickering pretty bad. The flicker even causes a Blur. My screen gets blurry. 2.) I became a companion and started in the companions guild building in whiterun (forgot the name). When I attempted to leave the building and enter whiterun, I got a CTD. :( But on a second attempt, I decided to start off in Riften and I entered Riften without a CTD. So, any ideas on ths really bad flicker and blur? -

Now with a new version of Skyrim Script Extender, I want/need to update it to build *.14. I don't want to mess anything up, so I just wanted to ask and confirm that to update to this latest version, I just follow the same steps as shown in SR while replacing all files as I update? Didn't know what the update process was for SKSE. I didn't want to mess up MO or anything. EDIT: I went ahead and just re-did everything as laid out in SR but overwriting/replacing the old stuff. So I think I should be good. If I should have done something else, someone let me know ;) -

I just typed the node numbers in the FormID search as you suggested, and nothing came back :( I wonder where I went wrong :( -

I ran into a situation where I couldn't find two nodes in TES5Edit. When installing "Realistic Needs and Diseases" and resolving the problem for: "This mod has an incomplete Destructible Bottles patch and an ESP conflict with Radiant and Unique Potions and Poisons HD." It says: The two bolded nodes above, I couldn't find. So they didn't get changed. Why couldn't I find them, and will it affect me going froward not having them changed? Unless I messed up somewhere and I can find some direction to change them. -

Just wanted to confirm I did this correct. Under Sounds of Skyrim Civilization, the section for making a patch for the ESP conflict with Realistic Room Rentals Enhanced and Realistic Lighting Overhaul It says: After selecting the patch and SOS in the first step, the second step says what to expand but it doesn't tell you what your expanding under. I assumed SoS - Civilization.. Just wanted to make sure I was right since I'm spoiled by always being told exactly what to expand under :P -

Quick question: Under SkyTest Realistic Animals, and forwarding changes from various DLC's section. It says: Okay, am I supposed to turn the value into a "1".  Or am I supposed to actually add 1 to the value already there.  For example, the value was 4, now add 1, so change the value to a "5"? Changing it from 4 to either 1 or 5 both turn the record from green to red. Just putting that out there too. -

I wasn't sure where to post this since I am not looking for troubleshooting help, nor suggesting a mod, rather just inquiring for information. But... one of my favorite things in Skyrim is role-playing... obviously a lot of people I am sure share that same trait. And I like to take my character out to earn some extra gold by hunting and killing local wildlife to haul back to town and sell to the town merchants. Does SR (and even STEP for that matter, but I am following the SR guide currently and about halfway through) have any mods in it that either enhance hunting or increase the value of pelt and fur spoils of a kill so I can take my trophy game back to town and reap the benefits of my marksmanship and hard work? :) I was just curious. I looked through all the mods and nothing really stuck out to me about this subject. Is this something I should put in the suggestions thread? -
When I come across mods that give me the option to download the .bsa version or loose files version.... is there one style preferred by SR or does it not matter because of MO? I have been downloading BSA's thinking this is okay because MO automatically extracts all .bsa files... correct? I did choose the option in the very beginning for that when asked and clicked always use that option. So technically it doesn't matter what I download then?

Okay, have another question. As written in SR: What does the asterisk mean after "fieldgrass02"? Just want to make sure I understand. Am I also supposed to get rid of the /fieldgrass02_n.dds??? Thank you.

I think I will rename them as you said you did. That way, as you mentioned, it allows me to keep track of everything better. Thanks for the help!

Am I supposed to download 2 files here? I downloaded the "Meshes Hi-Res" and then I also downloaded "Normals Original" Is this correct? They were the same name when downloaded so when I tried to Install MO yelled at me' date=' so I renamed the Normals to "High Quality 3D Map - Normals". Is that okay, will it cause issues with BOSS? Did I do this correctly? Or should I have done something else? Thank you.[/quote'] When I download the file with normals the file name is "HQ3DMap - Normals Original-4817-2-0.7z" ; the name for the meshes file is different. Yes, when downloaded the downloaded file name is as you say. But when I Install, MO tries to install both as the same name called "High Quality 3D Map". So I left the Meshes Hi Res download alone which is called "High Quality 3D Map", and the Normals download I renamed to "High Quality 3D Map - Normals" when I installed it into MO. Otherwise MO was trying to name both the same even though the downloaded names were different. EDIT: An example is plugins for some mods and optional files. MO wants to name it the same thing, so I rename it. When there are mods that have optional files that also need to be downloaded, I will just have multiple Installed mods for that specific mod (just renaming each optional file). Not sure if I am making sense? EDIT2: Okay, I see what you were talking about with "Merge". MO gives the option to merge. Should I do this for all instances that require me to download an additional "optional" file?

For the mod "High Quality 3D Map" Located here: https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4817/? In Skyrim Revisted: Am I supposed to download 2 files here? Okay, here is another question. With the BOSS Userlist Manager, I have to fill out a field for "Masterlist Path" What path would that be? Nevermind, I got it. BTW, is there a guide anywhere to properly setting up the settings within BUM?

Yep, that solved it. Thank you very much.

Instead of making a new thread, I figured I would just continue my questions in this one. My next question is: When I moved on into the Optimization of the Bethesda Textures, everytime I extract to the folders I made, the extracted file is a .bsa file and not loose texture files in a texture folder. I re-read the steps and felt I did everything right. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you for the reply. Question: The non backups which started in Skyrim/Data... Are these supposed to be ESM's as well? I'm looking at my Data folder and the only ESM I have is the Skyrim.esm. Everything else is .bsa and .esp So I am not quite sure what I am supposed to be moving out of the Skyrim Data folder and into overwrite?

Hello. Thanks for the reply. I been busy all week I didn't get to work on this, but now with the three day weekend here I plan on making a major dent into my progress to getting Skyrim Revisited loaded onto my computer! To revisit the topic below, and just for further clarification for my confused self: Okay, in reference to the quote above. When I go into TES5Edit Backups, I will see (4) back up files. All of which are .esm backups. As instructed, I take those (4) created back up files and move them and drop them into the Skyrim Data folder. Okay... The very next step says to then select all ESM files in the Skyrim Data folder (Except Skyrim.esm) and move them to the overwrite directory. That is where my I get confused. If I am taking all the ESM's I just dropped into Skyrim/Data and moving them to Mod Organizer/overwrite, why did I move them to Skyrim/Data if I am just immediately taking them back out? Was I supposed to COPY it and not move it to the Mod Organizer/overwrite directory folder? The directions just say to move the back ups to SKyrim/Data, and then very next step we taken them back out of Skyrim/Data. So just wondering if this is correct or if I am just completely missing something. Thank you for the help! If more info is needed from me please just let me know.

Hello, I want to start off by saying, AMAZING GUIDE!!! I just started to go through this guide for Skyrim Revisited and do all the pre-req's before mod installation. I think though I ran into a problem during the "Clean Bethesda ESM's" portion of the guide. I followed the instructions word for word on the actual cleaning and then I believe the next section is where I got thrown off... It reads: I did exactly as said, and when I started BOSS, it still said my Bethesda ESM's had dirty edits and needed to be cleaned. What I did was, as quoted above... Move the created backup ESM's to the Skyrim Data folder from the "TES5Edit Backups" folder, then I literally took those same ESM's that I just placed in the Skyrim Data folder and moved them over to the MO/overwrite folder. Then renamed each to remove the ".backup*". In my overwrite folder, ESM's where already there, so I just overwrote them with the backups that I renamed to replace them. The closed out and started BOSS to see the dirty edits remained. I feel I did word for word what was asked. But something doesn't seem right here. What was the point of moving them to the Skyrim Data folder if you immediately just moving them back out to the overwrite folder? No where it said to use "Copy" so I literally just moved from one spot, to the next, to the next. Anyways, anyone have any idea where I went wrong? I'd like to fix this before continuing so I don't have a big mess on my hands in the end. Thank you!

Mod Suggestions for SR - Post in STEP Mods Forum
Jormungand24 replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Since this is a mod suggestions thread, I was wondering why (if any reason at all at the moment) "Economics of Skyrim" was/is not included in SR? I saw Trade and Barter is included in SR and EoS is compatible with it (from reading T&B's Nexus' page). Don't know if it ever came up, I was just reading the features of EoS and thought it made a lot of sense and would be a great add for SR. Nexus Link to EoS: https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11919/? Keep up the great work!!
