Thanks Greg. Been reading on the web a bit about this, but still seems there a little confusion still regarding this. As stated 32 bit DX9 Skyrim LE on windows 8/1 had this limitation but now on x64 bit DX11 general consensus is it been lifted, together with the fix on Win 10. Win 7 worked differently and had no problems......but some still think that regardless of x64 bit DX11 on win 8 it is still a problem, microsoft didn't make a patch for win 8 only win 10 there new platform......i guess I'll found out one way or another come game time

For those of you with wiser heads, could you please clarify something for me. my cpu is i7-4770 3.50hz overclocked to 4.2hz, on windows 8.1 x64, graphics Geforce GTX 780 4.0 GB V/memory and 16GB memory. So on Skyrim LE based on x32 bit, we were locked at 4064 v/memory...unless you had windows 7 or 10 with the update, to address this oversite by windows(DX9). Does this STILL apply on windows 8.1 on x64 bit system(DX11). If i run Vramsize tool with the vramsizeDX11 tool, that is now increased to 60000. I ask this as i know my G/card is aging and need to adjust what graphics (1k/2k) to apply for this guide

Without adding any more pressure on Lexy, i am in agreement with Shadriss in regards to Discord. I for one, do not do social media etc, EXCEPT for the forums here..don't even have a personal phone. I have been on Discord to look see, but not comfortable there..hence why all my posts are found here or Darth's guide. Yet still, as Shadriss has pointed out, there are good people here that are happy to share their wisdom and guidance to queries.....Sirjesto and Greg to name a few(many others too). Still thank you Lexy for the effort you put in and you too Shadriss...pardon my bad grammar here tonight...just been one of those days

Small question Lexy....any reason why you chose Sprint Jump SE over Better jumping SE https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18967/, or was it just a simple choice of what was available at the time?....PS MoreHUD Inventory Edition been updated to v1.0.6 to work with (Support for Runtime 1.5.50)

If i understand what you are saying.....if Alternate Start - Live another life for example, has been made for Skyrim SE, can it be used on Skyrim LE....NO it's forms would have been converted to 44 to work with x64 bit platform, as opposed to the 43 form on 32 bit platform. Beside the author of said mod should/ may have updated the mod to work for LE. If not stick with the latest version on the given game version

AthlonAI Hi! the general rule from Neovalen's guide through Darth's has been this:- LOOT: Perform the following(and again every time mods change with an esp): FNIS: Perform the following(and again every time animation mods are changed): Wyre Bash: Perform the following (and again every time mods change with an esp) DynDOLOD: This will only need to be executed again if object textures are changed.Perform the following to execute TexGen.exe: Skyproc Patches:Each time load order is changed,SUM should be run again to remake all existing patches.Failure to do so may lead to a CTD on startup. Shadriss hi! GLaDOS (Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System) yeah i agree. Image every dwemer ruin/site you enter, it begins to study you, manipulates you, send autobots after you etc with each level rising in attacks and difficulty. Read a fantasy book awhile back(cannot recall the title off hand now), about elves sending out a search party to an island off the coast from where they lived. A year before an exploration force had ventured to this island that was called Morrowind but spelt different in the book, with the elves magic artifact and never returned. The rescue team were accompanied by a master wizard and found on the island a large abandoned facility controlled by an AI. The facility like the dwemer ruins still had mechanical lifeforms repairing, defending etc. But the AI was running out of energy and found the elves and wizards magic a means to an alternative source. After capturing the wizard and a few others, placed them in a coma state through drugs and manipulated there dreams as though they were under attack and draining off there magic as they reacted to the attacks in this dream state. As a BOSS fight..dovakiin or not, no thank you. hehe...no more needs to be said!

Lexy hi! There cannot be much more in the way of major game changing mods to go into the guide surely..perhaps awaiting one or two mod authors. Once that's done I'm sure the dev team will be able to sort out minor problems, then you can sit back and...."Whats that, the girls need what"..Darth's away at work, they have just given me some major new developments at work and NO HE HASN'T...icecreamassassin has just dropped Odessey act 1....perhaps you are right...only teasing

Shadriss hi! AHH the joys of modding, the never ending cycle of updating, changing, modifying, the next bright shiny thing, the must haves, am i missing out on something. I must say it was wonderfully refreshing to just play the last eight or so months...nothing to worry about but the next stage, quest, artifacts etc. Still like you and countless others the journey begins anew lol...time for a tea break

One of the many sources of aggro and frustration at the beginning of the year. Huge personal loses at work, and can you few remaining please pick up the departeds work load as well as new projects. Daughter doing exams and projects for varcity and needing the computer/room. Spend hours putting the guide together when time was available, only for a day or two later to find links, masterlists for LOOT etc awol and having to start fresh. Any way found the problem from a post on the MO2 dev bug page and was CCleaner setting under advanced, messing with the virtual filing system, which Lexy kindly added to the guides prereq page. Having only just put together a new play through from Darth's guide, i chose to concentrate on starting and finishing it, so at least i know i have played Skyrim to the bitter end......really amazed at how stable the game was, given the known problems with game engine limitations etc....LARGELY due to Darth, Lexy and Nozzers work in the guide and crash fix....MANY MANY THANKS TO THEM FOR IT

MongeHDS hi! Thank you kindly for that post in regards to Skyrim exe v1.5.39. One small question to the team. Finished doing prerequisite page and all's running. But is it advisable to have all the Skyrim SE tools in it's own folder on my e: drive, outside of the main Skyrim folder and MO2 folder...BAR Wyre bash and xLODGEN as per instructions. My concern is largely zedit and smash...yes in MO2 the tools are linked to the tools folder. I have always had the tools separate from main Skyrim folder( that is with LE), but i had a lot of trouble with MO2 earlier in the year and CCleaner etc losing links from tools. So i would rather nail this down now before moving on....thank you

Lexy or team members hi! Small query if i may. Installed LOOT (as per prereq page) and created the relevant mod groups. I have noticed a slight difference to the video and final picture to what i have....i.e my LOOT has: DLC leads into creation club, into light masters, and then normal up to default. The branch of none created mod groups, that runs from core mods are thus: core mods into alternative starts, into immersive citizens and then into open cities, as opposed to the final picture that has no creation club, light masters and then core mods runs first into open cities, alternative start, immersive citizens, HPO. So then, is the final picture and video just a reflection of an earlier version of LOOT and it's pre-built mod groups, or has it already begun that i have something wrong? Appreciate any feed back

Shadriss hi! Ok thank you, not having build this guide yet, i was unaware that you had a mod Quick light already in..sorry my bad. Ok i see where you are coming from in terms of your game playing style and yes that can be annoying when sneaking and the problem with night eye. So i guess then as per your earlier post, adjusting settings to bring the game back towards vanilla may be the only way or if there are other options/combinations to try. Removing masters etc from cr isn't to difficult....at lest it wasn't on LE...but then this will be a step up for me and as already seen, i have a LOT of catching up on and stretching my modding skills. But then that how we learn through trial and error, asking questions and learning from other generous skilled modders here and on other guides

Personally and just my two cents, i have never understood why, if a light source is needed in dark caves....in order to maintain atmosphere, ambiences, realism etc, why not have a mod like Henry's ring of light, that comes with various light radius, brightness, colors, that you can chose for your preference. When equipped in a cave, gives you JUST the right amount of light to see a little better, without removing the game effects.This way the guide standard remains for all, who in turn can customize their game accordingly i.e if people wish to change out a light mod for another or adjust settings of a light mod they can do so, whilst others can have a little extra light if needed(with another mod). For combat lovers, being ambushed in a darken caves my seem like fun or those that love realism, falling down a crevice that was not seen in the dark, may be realistic for them. For me that loves to explore, that little extra light may be the difference of finding a relic or not. And yes, a ring is preferred to a torch as it frees the hands for my bow. PS The above mentioned mod my need to be ported or there may be newer and better mods........the point remains though..without going to great lengths to adapt the various lighting mods, there is enough slots left in the guide to have a simple extra light source(mod) in game. Hey ho just my thoughts!
