  1. Too easy Just wanted to make sure is all. Thanks Darth.
  2. Morning lads, I'm guessing this is a typo or Darth, maybe you were testing something at the time perhaps? I'm not sure. Either way, could someone clear this one up for me... At step 43.2 "[ More Patches for CACO]" the guide says to install the non-MLU version for 'CACO - Konahriks Accoutrements'. However, once we get down to the merges, at 56.20 "Complete Alchemy And Cooking Overhaul" the ESP indicated there is the MLU version; CACO_konahrik_acc_MLU.esp I'm guessing we are to use the non-MLU version seeing as MLU is not a part of this guide and the non-MLU ESP is the ESP that was instructed to be installed from the guide, but perhaps I'm wrong? So yeah, could someone clear that one up for me please? Much appreciated, Dodgy Bob
  3. Fair enough then! Thanks Darth_mathias. I'll just go along with keeping an eye on the bottom "Last Updated" then and checking in on the changelog page from time to time. I know you mentioned back in post #4138 that you are done with the guide now, however this way, I know what to look out for if I'm away for a bit of time before I get to finish off setting everything up - which is happening a bit at the moment - and someone else were to update anything.
  4. Hey folks, This might be sort of off topic, but I'm not certain - it is about the guide though! On the main guide page there is a top "Last Updated" date/time stamp and a bottom "Last Updated" date/time stamp. These don't match up. Why is that? The bottom "Last Updated" date/time stamp appears to line up with the most recent entry on the changelog page, but even so, again on the changlog page both the top and bottom "Last Updated" date/time stamps also do not match up. I only ask as I have gone back to Neovalen's SRLE guide and his top and bottom "Last Updated" date/time stamps do match up and I guess I was expecting the same behaviour here on the SRLE-E_LotD guide. It's just that each time I come back to the SRLE-E_LotD guide and it refreshes obviously, the top "Last Updated" date/time stamp is newer again to the bottom and I'm thinking great, its updated again, where are the changes this time !? !? :S I'm not cranky at anyone, just trying to understand how these date/time stamps work and if I should just be going off of one or the other. Thanks in advance, Dodgy Bob
  5. Oops! I totally forgot the notice, my bad "Notice: DEACTIVATE THE MERGE CREATED IN SRLE BASE. IT WILL BE REINSTALLED AND REMERGED FOR SRLE EXTENDED LOTD"
  6. Hey folks, Sorry, another question... At 33.3 "[RS Children - Patches - SRLE Extended LOTD]" it asks: * Special Installation: Install the following patches: * RSChildren - Merged Complete and USKP.esp (The Replacement one from SRLE Base) Is this instruction here talking about the unmodified/unmerged 'RSChildren_CompleteUSKP.esp' from step 4.7.5.6 of SRLE Base -OR- is it talking about the final modified/merged 'RSChildren_CompleteUSKP.esp' at step 4.13.10? I'm guessing the first, the ESP from 4.7.5.6, as why would we be needing 'Patch - Falskaar - RS kids.esp' and 'RSChildren_PatchBooksofSkyrim.esp' then since they are already merged (that is, a part of) the ESP at 4.13.10, correct? Thanks in advance,Dodgy Bob
  7. Folks, There is also a compatibility patch for 'Books of Skyrim' too; present in both the newest version (2.01.0) and the referenced version in the guide (2.00.0). Is this compatibility patch left unchecked on purpose? And yes, knowing if it, along with the SMIM-Merged-All and ELFX patches should be checked moving forward, would be heaps appreciated. Thanking you, Dodgy Bob
  8. Hey folks, Just another quick question / clarification about installation: At Section 27 "Arthmoor's Villages", do we extract the individual village BSA's? I'm guessing we do since we are told to delete the BSL files and have also not been told to specifically leave them packed like other MODs. However, the individual pages for Arthmoor's Villages do say to not unpack (albeit, to do so, seems only from a support point of view)! Thanks folks. Kind regards, Dodgy Bob
  9. Ahhhhhhhhh! I see. That makes sense now. Cool, I'll do that then Thanks for the info Paul.
  10. Hey folks, Much thanks for the guide and the time spent in updating it and keeping it going; really appreciated. Quick question though: Reading the below posts RE "The Forgotten City Patches" and seeing as that is the part of the guide I am up to, what do I do then !? !? :O_o: Reason I ask is that on the Nexus page for the download, there is no longer v1.0 as asked for in the guide. The latest version for download is v1.29 which contains 54 patches and the guide only says to not use 2 of them! Just seeking some clarification so I don't hose my install Thanks folks. Kind regards, Dodgy Bob
  11. There we go - all done - too easy :) Thanks again. Yeah, it was that sorted/unsorted and weighted/weightless page that threw me! I thought I was going to have option, after option, after option to choose and I didn't want to do that ... if only I had click next one more time Oh well, its all done and all good now. Works a treat, good job folks, Dodgy Bob
  12. Yeah, only 1.5.5 and 1.5.1 and 1.5 are available form the Nexus page now  Its all good! I did go to install SGD from the included FOMOD in 1.5.5, but I got all jittery when I saw the Requiem support and the second page (I think! I can't remember now?). When I couldn't see anything about it on the STEP wiki page for it, I thought "oh no! I don't want to mess anything up"! I'll pop back into MO and remove what I've got now and then try things with an unmodified, plain-jane 1.5.5 Thanks folks for the prompt help / information - much appreciated Regards, Dodgy Bob
  13. Hey folks, First up, my apologies if this has already been found and worked out! Quick question before I ramble on: Is the file offered here (@ post #241) by TechAngel85 based on v1.5.5? Reason being... As I've been slowly whittling away at setting up my STEP 2.2.8 Skyrim install, I got to installing 'Soul Gems Differ' and the latest file on offer is 1.5.5 - no sign of 1.5.4!? So, following the instructions on the 'Soul Gems Differ' STEP wiki page to add in the STEP configured FOMOD folder, doing that makes everything blow up!! That is, you end up with a 'Soul Gems Differ' MOD folder that only has the MO meta.ini file inside. I found that what made it work for me was extracting 'Soul Gems Differ v1.5.5' to a 'Soul Gems Differ' folder, deleting the contents of the FOMOD folder and adding the contents of The STEP FOMOD archive into the FOMOD folder, then re-archiving the 'Soul Gems Differ' folder; so the new archive follows this: new-archive.7zSoul Gems Differ[soul Gems Differ v1.5.5 content] Now running this new archive through MO works and I end up with what I should :) Only question from this point is though: having done this, has this way of installing missed anything from v1.5.5 if The STEP FOMOD is based on v1.5.4??? Regards, Dodgy Bob
  14. Hey folks, Apologies for my laziness - I'm dead tired and I'm just wanting to gear up for the weekend! I've finally got my PC upgraded and I have a clean install of Skyrim sitting there ready to be played. If I go and get all STEP 2.2.8 on this clean installation of Skyrim, will I have to change much once 2.2.9 is released? Essentially will it just be a matter of adding a few new MODs in and perhaps taking some old ones out? Once I get Skyrim all stable with STEP 2.2.8, I don't think I'm going to want to mess with it too much! I suppose what I'm asking - and I know you can't go giving a real clear answer on this, but - would I just be better off playing some vanilla Skyrim for now and wait for 2.2.9 to be released or should I go ahead and do the 2.2.8 MOD-out and perhaps stick with that until such time down the track that I want to re-MOD a clean, pristine Skyrim to 2.2.9 or its made known how to easily "upgrade" to STEP 2.2.9? Does a Skyrim STEP 2.2.8 installation allow itself to be easily upgraded to Skyrim STEP 2.2.9? Thanks, Dodgy Bob.
