So if I understand well, I just make a copy of my plugins folder from Skyrim/data/SKSE to that one skyrim/mod organiser/mods/skse10702/SKSE ? Or maybe I do nothing ....(the loosy way yes, but i try to finish the Step extended installation for 5 days now, 3 times trying from the begining, and close to finish this morning.....I hope I can play today !! so maybe I choose the coward option, DO NOTHING AND PRAY )

I am afraid I am not clear .... :confused: Yes the SKSE.ini is in the mod orginiser/mod/skse10702 folder. So it looks normal. BUT I wonder why in the skyrim/data I got SKSE folder with plugins inside (DCF, fuzrodho and smart souls)> Will those plugins work ??? Should I moove those plugins to have only 1 SKSE folder (so in mod orginiser because I run SKSE via MO as step reccomend ) ?

I want to ste this tweak (from race menu) in SKSE : Your Data/SKSE/SKSE.ini should look something like this: [Display] iTintTextureResolution=2048 My problem is that I got 2 different SKSE folder !! The first one is in skyrim/data/SKSE then I got plugins folder , and some plugins here (DCF, fuzrodho and smart souls) The second one is in skyrim/mod orginiser/mods/skse10702/skse/skse.ini !!!! you can check both path on this photo https://www.cjoint.com/15jv/EAye3hrRNOv.htm It is very confusing for me ? Should I keep the skse.ini in mods and editing here, but what the skse plugins are doing in a different place ?! Some help is needed for the neophyte I am !!

Hello everyone, I am still in STEP installationm and I have just finish the 2 J step. Well, now when I try skyrim, I have no lightning config in the MCM menu, only this : https://www.cjoint.com/15jv/EAxjCXMjVqA.htm But when I launch a saved game I can read something like " munti's ligthning guide added ". Someone have an idea ? And some other menu are missing also or not ? I just finish install Skyrim Performance Plus

I think about XP32, skyfalls and skymills, SMIM, ...and some others I can't remember !!, I don't want to read all the detailed instructions to see if it is a fomod installation and then check on MO....such a waste of time ! I will try to check some ... In the skyrim distant overhaul beta filetree I got: -meshes -tes5edit backup (I think I need to delete it ! I don't konw what I've done) -texture.ini - 4 different ESP in SMIM: -meshes -optional -textures meta.ini It looks ok no ?

Hi there, I was installing step as meticulously as I can, and now after reaching the installation of visible windows, I realize something : for all the mod who have FOMOD installation, I miss to install manually at the end and click NEXT instead of (so automatic installation after have choose the right option )!!!!!!! And sometimes for sure, the " no game data on top level " would have appear and I should have take care of this ! I am just afraid that those mod have not been installed CORRECTLY ! 1-Is there any method to verify that it is install correctly ? (like in right panel under the "data" foler 2- Do I need to re-install just every mod with FOMOD installation !!!! I hope I am clear enough with my bad french cheese eater accent ! Thanks

mmmh I set the frate rate limiter to 60hz in nvidia inspector (as see in a forum), and it stopped........ is it a problem for the game ??? no I set the skyrim pref ini as exposed in STEP

Thank you dragon king, I can launch the game now ( after lauching the injector) BUT I got this message in red (after the logo of ENBseries, Boris ...etc): Patch Speedhack ENBoost turned on in enblocal.ini, graphic modification disabled So, does it means that I don't really get the injector ? What's the next step ??

I have to leave now, I try this tomorrow morning ! And yes I have read the part related to this in the ENB ini advices.... My OS is windows 7 home basic ....can it changes anything ?

Well, something new happen, strange for me ... I just install this enbhost.exe, ENBInjector.exe, enbinjector.ini, enblocal.ini, and enbseries.dll, then when I launch the game (skse trough MO).....it creates a enebseries.ini quickly before trying to start, black screen, HOPE, and nothing..... thank you for this reply ! I was just saying I was launching skyrim trough SKSE, wich is just the normal way. I don't think it is the problem. Of course, I follow all STEP's step, watch videos too, and enboost still crash the game at launch (three times reinstalling skyrim after trying many things !) They are in the skyrim directory both (not the data one). Notice that the PC is new (1 week), and nothing installed in ! I googled a lot for this problem but I still don't understand...

Hi there, I am not an expert in modding at all, but I would like to follow STEP, and some GEMS mod to have a full modded Skyrim. I am french and I will try to do my best to write in a proper bloodyhellwhatthe**** english. My first problem remains at the ENBoost step (after Stable uGridsToLoad installation). SKSE from Mod orginiser cannot launch skyrim anymore, it result to a CTD ! When I remove d3d9.dll, enbhost.exe, and enblocal.ini form my skyrim folder, I can launch via SKSE in mod orginiser and play again. I have try to change enblocal.ini VideoMemorySizeMb=XXXX from 10240 to 5120, but it is same. Have someone an idea about that ? My system i5-4590, 8 gb ram, and gtx 970 skyrim.ini : (trough Mod orginiser of course ) Enblocal.ini: Thanks !!!!
