Skyrim Special Edition Enhanced

If I disable all my mods (and leave the reshade on with dolomite/truestorms) the problem is less pronounced. Almost non existant. When I reinable BOOM, back to super dark. Ingame is fine (I think) this pretty annoying. What the hell could affect the main menu/loading screens like this? I've done reinabled/disabled my L.O half a time to try and narrow it down. Might be something outside of Skyrim.. I dunno- 214 replies

It was set to limited Another workaround if I use Dolomites default fGlobalSaturationBoost I get lot of colour. I even had to drop it down a tad Check out this video though, notice how skyrim starts off bright (main menu) and then 'Darkens'. You can see the Skyrim Icon sorta darken totally and the loading screen is REALLY dark. I wonder if that's anything to do with it. Have tried this without any of the weather/lighting mods... so much head scratchy Still though... pretty... https://youtu.be/OSXD-UL0OLo- 214 replies

You guys are great, appreciate all the help. Our .inis are similar as I merged dolomites with what nyclix has, though you guys have your LODs pushed a lil further than mine :P I went over my list with a fine toothed comb and found SoS/WEBs has patches for ELFX. Grabbed them but meh, it'll all be sorted when CRing (shudder) comes around if I missed others. Guess I'll start the CRing now and then do my DynDOLOD and that's me done. Would you mind if I bother yis one last time and have a looksie over my L.O incase there is something that stands out? Maybe a complimentary that might fit in or mainly just to see that everything is where is should be. Stuff like do I have the right LODs for Dyndolod gen etc, that Terrain LOD Redone was hurting my brain with its crazy talk of maps this and that. I left out the LOD resources in miscellaneous but now I'm thinking I might need um Here have a video of how things looks so far (nyclix + ENB) pre CR & DynDoLOD https://youtu.be/cIAXa0I8HpU It looks..different than others. It's doesn't really pop off the screen (except for what looks like floating grass that pops in), everything looks kinda drained and desaturated. Ineriors where quiet dark too, not at all in the Dolomite spirit. Solid 60 FPS (slight stutter when I pressed record) so that's nice. Any advice there? Promise that's the last I'll bother ya.. and it's the biggest one question I think so far!- 214 replies

Say did you use the enhancer with ELFX or just the main module (nothing else) It's kinda annoying switching over from ELE/RS to ELFX as I can't remember which mods need ELFX patches. A bunch gave the option but I'd be damned if I can remember them now.... EDIT: Disregard Nyclix mentions only to install the SMIM patch Wonder which Dolomite.ini to use. The from Nyclix is obviously for the ENB but the one from Dolomites page is newer and has a ton more edits.....- 214 replies

Rog Still a bit unclear as to what it does. It get's rid of the changes to NPCs etc like the ones that make them essential and what not? And leaves everything else so that it's only character overhaul?- 214 replies

Right so I dump ELE/RS. Less C.R downstream so that's always a plus. But just as I said before was WICO plug n play for you or did you have to do all that maddness with the WICO cleanup script, xedit etc? Any issues with it? The grey face bug etc?- 214 replies

Oh! More questions while you're there Have you had any grief with WICO? Looking through the comments section seems to give a metric **** ton of folk a headache. There's a thing on SEPTIMs guide about how to install which has all a bunch of xedit changes, a batch file clean up script all that jazz. You have to do any of that?> EDIT: Hmm... Nyclix looks amazing. The lad doesn't reccomend my ELE though which is in my L.O. Head scratching time- 214 replies

Heya, can anyone make any sense of this? I can't select the nice ok button. I have used the Papyrus Compiler Patch for x64 Systems patch and it said that it was patched. And I follow gamer poets and Dredflops guide here on the forums to get it working but no joy. Strange thing is I could use it on Oldrim. Halp!

As the lad above mentioned he build an entire L.O first and then C.Rs it as apart from what I'm doing which is slapping in 5 mods. Testing how it runs and then CRing it. I'm getting my mods in sorta like sections (do bug fixes first, then graphical then gameplay etc),so there shouldn't be any massive overlap. At any rate I discovered Skyrim SE Puddles is saved in Form 43. Is it best to avoid it for now?- 214 replies
