Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

out of curiosity , why does SRLE not include a perk overhaul mod ? I know you can merge SRLE + Regs +Perma but why not one in SRLE stand alone ? Lets face it , the vanilla ones are a bit boring . -

question , is it ok to still use SUM ? I am mainly asking because of this part in the guide : Most new SkyProc mods are not compatible with the SUM merge function. Heed this warning. -

no i haven't . i assumed it would let me install the patch now and have MO tell me it was missing another master until i installed RRR. -

I am a bit confused about this part when installing RSchildren : Replace the child vampire eye texture included with this mod with The Eyes of Beauty - Dawnguard: The Eyes of Beauty - Dawnguard/textures/actors/character/eyes/eyevampire_02.dds -> RS Children Overhaul/textures/actors/character/ranaline/eyes/eyevampire_02.dds Do you mean make a copy of that file and move that into the other mod or just simply move the file from one mod to another ? -

Actually let me rephrase my earlier post : Should i only start merging plugins After all the mods are installed since i assume the new Merging tool will keep telling me i am missing something ? If yes , it might be helpful to add that into the guide , otherwise new people might think they screwed up somewhere when they didn't . -

So if i got it right , i should wait with merging anything until RSSkyrimchildren is installed ? -

I got a question : should merging the plugins only be done once everything is installed ? reason i am asking is because i tried to merge all the Better quest objectives patches but i get this upon starting it . Also a suggestion ; it might be a good idea to make some small ad on to activate the Merge plugin.exe through MO . -

Wouldn't it be possible for someone to upload Skyrim realistic overhaul on something other then the torrent site ( firemedia or Copy .com ? Just seems odd to have the mod up only on such a risky platform instead of giving an alternative and more safe method . Perhaps somebody could also give me a copy of the mod as i too would rather not do not want to use torrents ever again ? Thanks in advance . -
GUIDE Fear and Loathing in New Vegas - Feedback

I would like to message a small bug i found with Willow . Using the mods FCO AND nvr3 in the guide as it is now , i discovered that willow had 2 eyeballs in each eye socket , wich looked just as nightmarish as you think it is :p However ,the fix is pretty simple : put NVR3 above FCO in the left pane . -

Alright , got A world of pain installed along with the NVR 3 , Calliberx and low loot patches which i merged into one esp . Also installed AWOP revisions to remove most of the Overpowered walking death machine npc's . :p I realize i am missing a lot of other comp patches ( EVE , WMX etc ) but as far as i can tell , not having those does not seem to matter much . anything else i should take note off ? there was talk about some parts of the mod clashing with nvinteriors . -

I was wondering , when everything is installed from the guide , how big is your Skyrim file size ? Thinking of installing this again on a ssd But need to know if i got enough space for it . -

one more question : i switched over from Nevada skies to RLO . is there also a need to disable the compatibility patch from Interior lighting overhaul for Nevada skies ? played around a bit and i did not encounter a problem -

i wonder if i am SOL on this particular problem . When using an ENB i get transparency problems with stuff north around goodsprings ( trees , certain rocks and the watertank all appear through the ground or surrounding area . Now i discovered that enabling Fixtransparencybugs=true will fix this , however doing so would screw with Spice of live mod and suddenly there are people running around without any legs . Is there a way to fix both of these issues or am i SOL and will have to choose between no Spice of live or no ENB? -
one question : does the no soft targeting mod leave files anywhere else besides the mod file ? Reason i am asking is , that after trying it out for a while but realizing i kind of prefer the soft target i uninstalled it and made sure it was gone from the mod mile . But the game still has no soft targeting . So in short i am confused :p

Thanks , i used to read the whole stack of comics at my friends house ( he had the whole collection ) whe i came over . :p The trick above sadly did not work . I did discover that uninstalling friendly hud as well as the assorted mod patches makes the game work . Also one thing i noticed is that pressing R does not pause the game but makes me use food . I think you used the same key for both food and the pause function .
-
I followed the guide and i think i did everything right , but i hit a snag : When starting the game and it is compiling the script , i get this :
-
i don't get this , i am looking for the hud section in the user file to edit it but it is not in there. Do i just copy and paste it in there somewhere ?
