  1. Got the guide working, first time (for once! YAY!). The amount of work that has gone into this guide, I take my helmet off to all involved. All good, except is there anyway to revert back to the vanilla body or CBBE on my install? Because I'd like to use Practical Female Armors and its associated mods, which includes an Immersive Armors version. As someone who actually wears steel armour on a regular basis, the way women's armor is in this game I find very hard to put up with. I've done some poking around, spent several hours trying to figure out how to use Bodyslide to adjust the CBBE version of PFA to UNP. Because CBBE is a bridge. Apparently, my brain doesn't want to understand how to finangle Bodyslide, so I gave up. Tried slidersets, tutorials, the works. No dice. Changing the body used will be: Tedious, possibly. Messing up, most likely. Not looking for someone to do it for me, because I wouldn't learn that way. However, it would make myself quite pleased, and possibly help someone else trying to do similar things. (For my own notetaking) List of mods: Some proof of the wearing steel armour thing - https://imgur.com/gallery/hK5xoJ2
  2. I've just gone hunting on their website. Can't seem to find credits or permissions anywhere. I could be missing something, but it seems the modpack author doesn't have permission for alot of the mods. He has a message on his forums - [link removed] - looks like he might have some permissions "apparently" but I doubt it for several others. Checked a few - Immersive Armors, Frostfall and Campfire - All of these explicitly say in the permissions and credits bit on the nexus page, NO upload permission. There's most likely more.
  3. Thing is, this was on a Nord character. I haven't tested the beast races. When I have a spare moment in amongst work, uni, re-enactment combat (that helmet in my avatar picture is not for show) and gaming, I'll have a look. (Or it pisses me off enough.)
  4. Digging around in my head (memory isn't great), I had to fiddle around with the records for the masks. Specifically, the armatures. Improved Closefaced Helmets adds armatures for male Orcs, Khajiits and Argonians. It worked, though how to explain exactly how to do it, I've got no bleeding idea. I also remember having a devil of a time getting the Vahlok hood and mask textures to work. This time around, I followed the guide exactly when installing ICH, Apophysis and Kohnarik's Accoutrements. Krosis was invisible. Had to find the second armature ICH has for it and change the Krosis record. I'm putting off fixing the masks until I get to them in my current playthrough. (So far only Krosis, and that took longer to load in TES5Edit then to fix.)
  5. Those were the only ones I could find. Sorry I didn't respond to the posts after mine, sleep plus traffic control all day (gets bloody cold in the mountains - haven't unfrozen yet).
  6. Small error in the guide World - Lanscape and EnvironmentGroundUP - link name incorrect, URL correct The actual link points to the right page on Nexus, the author name is correct however the name on the guide is incorrect.
  7. If I'm barking up the completely wrong tree, could somebody please tell me? Okay screenshots Masks on display wall - https://imgur.com/PDKxKHu (Vokun mask sits a little high, worry about that later) Vahlok front inventory screen https://imgur.com/hjXeVlB Vahlok left side https://imgur.com/B5TsRK7 Vahlok back https://imgur.com/s5Bxgpp Vahlok right side https://imgur.com/nH46Qzg Vosis front https://imgur.com/S7I4vPn I have no idea if this is correct, doesn't look terribly silver to me. Vosis back https://imgur.com/3o4hktN And for something that appears correct Korthor front https://imgur.com/XkMBla3 Korthor back https://imgur.com/e9vlo06 Korthor uses MenDP_Stahlrim.nif & FemDP_Stahlrim.nif in the armatures. Which are Gallery_Patch......
  8. The reason I mentioned the daedric helmet meshes, is because I was getting an invisible helmet. The horns are still somewhat asymmetrical. I almost never use daedric armour, collect it yes, use it no. Much prefer the look of ebony armour or dragonscale. I see about screenshots for missing helmets and whatnot.
  9. The ICH meshes for some the Legacy of the Dragonborn added dragon priest masks seem to be missing from the ICH Patches download. (or there's something odd going on.) I checked out the esp in TES5Edit for names of the mesh files and went hunting. Vosis mask: armor/dragonpriesthelms/MenDP_Silver.nif, FemDP_Silver.nif, KhaDP_Silver.nif, KhaDP_Silver_F.nif, OrcDP_Silver.nif, ArgDP_Silver.nif, ArgDP_Silver_F.nif. None of these exist. Vahlok mask: The meshes are there, so the mask and hood appear, but the hood looks like it has masktexture.dds applied to it, so it looks completely weird. MO2S & MO3S - Alternate textures: 3D name drgaonhood (not a typo on my part), New texture: Vahloktexture, 3D index: 1. Texture set xx000817: Vahloktexture TX00: Diffuse: armor\dragonpriesthelm\masktexture.dds, (this exists, along with its _n.dds and _m.dds)(in Legacy of the Dragonborn) TX01: Normal/Gloss: textures\armor\dragonpriesthelm\DragonPriestHelm_n.dds (this doesn't exist)
  10. FYI, TMB Vanilla Armors has meshes for the Daedric Helmet in it, and it overrides Improved Closefaced Helmets. None of the other helmets are in the TMB Vanilla Armors archive, so I'm thinking the author might have forgotten to take it out. Easy fix, hide or delete the daedric helmet meshes from TMB Vanilla Armors.
  11. Nozzer66, FYI, Better males link goes to nexusid 3018 - Septim HD not 2488.
  12. Just about to get started on this awesome guide. Got SRLE working like a treat. (happy dance!) FYI, in section 8 - xEdit tools, Khajiit Ears is repeated.
  13. It's doing this again. Twas working before, now it's not and I have no idea why. Could a game update do this? However, fixed. Did the steps as before - -delete everything in AppData\Local\Fallout4 -run game through Steam, exit when in main menu. -reinstalled downloaded (UFO4P) mod through MO2, hit replace. -run FO4Edit, hey it works! My only excuse is tired.
