I'm doing a SRLE (minus frostfall, iNeed and Bathing in Skyrim) + Legacy of the Dragonborn playthrough and I'm not sure if I've done anything wrong in my install. I started out playing on Expert difficulty and it was okay for 10 levels or so.. since I've reached lvl 15+ all enemies have HUGE amounts of HP. The first dragon required 40 mins of combat and LOTS of reloading. After this I set the difficulty down to Adept and it helped... a little. I remember from my earlier playthroughs as an asssassin/thief that a well placed sneak attack with a bow or dagger would 1 shot most (normal) enemies. But even with the settings on Adept, a single sneak attack with a bow takes away 10-30% of their health. I've had to use player.setav attackdamagemult 4 to even make sniper sneak attacks work... Is this amount of HP what is to be expected from a normal SRLE install (and thus the sneaky assassin doesn't work) or is something wrong with my install?

Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx

I've just updated to 1.48, the new xEdit with Lodgen 1.0 and the new tes5lodgen. I'm getting this error when trying to create DynDOLOD Worlds: ERROR: Worldspace bounds of DLC2SolstheimWorld outside +- 128 cells, please remove or fix the broken mod. -
I guess you already know this, but if you don't it is what happens when you are standing on a ledge trying to shoot an arrow at a target. If it goes to killcam, the arrow is dropped infront of you instead of hitting the target. Is there any way to fix this (and still keep killcams as I quite like them) ?!? Also, auto-aim.. is this still a problem with a SRLE install or do I need to do some ini-tweaks myself?

Is it only me or does my keyboard media keys not work while inside Skyrim? I can't mute or alter the volume? I'm using MO, SKSE, ENBoost etc (maximized and borderless window so I can alt tab).

Is there any (easy) way to figure out if the install you've done behaves as you want it to? For textures I figure it's easy as you just load the game and watch the pretty pixels.. but what about quest mod or mods that add new worldspaces (Wyrmstooth, Helgen Reborn etc)... is there some kind of "trick" to test these quickly when starting a new game, or would I have to cross my fingers and hope for the best?

Is there a mod that... (Mod Detectives)
JUNKdeLUXE replied to rootsrat's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
I'll give it a go.. I believe i've tried it before but either that (or the fact I was using SPERG) made me a walking God by level 20 (or it could have been some other mod) -
Is there a mod that... (Mod Detectives)
JUNKdeLUXE replied to rootsrat's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
I'm just starting up a SR:LE + Legacy of the Dragonborn game and I'd like some more variety to the spells (vanilla Skyrim is incredibly dull imho).. What I DONT want is super OP spells. I also wouldn't mind if the mod somehow scaled damage with ability (I believe vanilla doesnt do this?) and that it doesn't add 183 almost similar spells. So in a nutshell. 1) more various spells (just not a gazillion of them) 2) spell scaling 3) lore friendly 4) NOT OP Can you recommend me any? -
Thanks for giving me some guidelines :) I have a question regarding MO and "sandboxing" though. I was under the influence that even if I made a new "sandbox" profile, that if I did any xEdit changes to mods also installed in other profiles that those changes would be for every profile? or does MO virtualize that as well?

I think I made a booboo... I'm doing the SR:LE and I didn't see that I should have had 2 different output folders for the TexGen and the Worlds generating.. now I've run both (only took 1½ hour :P ) and I have no idea of knowing what files are for what... What do I do?!?

I've done a couple successful STEP or SR:LE installs with further addons afterwards, but I still feel that I really haven't learned anything. I'm following guides to the letter, but I have no idea why I'm doing it or what effect the changes I'm doing have. I'd love to REALLY learn.. but where do I start? on the other hand I REEEALLY don't want to play with my stable install as it takes me a week or more to get up and running. Is it possible to have a "test setup" where you can play as much as you want?!? Guides, in-depth discussions etc.. feel free to point (or kick) me in the right direction :)

I've often wondered why Skeleton Arm Fix is the only one run in FNIS - especially as it seems we install a lot of animations in either STEP or SR:LE... why are none of the other options used (and what would happen if I ran e.g. xp32's Momo Acrobatic Jump" ?!?)

Thanks for the insights... I'm surprised that you would be able to have a "stable" game with SR:LE Extended AND Legacy (LotD) due to string bloat? I though it would be impossible? I'm almost done with SR:LE install and I've skipped Bathing in Skyrim, iNeed and Frostfall (that playstyle is not for me) - I hope that I would be able to install a full LotD setup with all supported mods.. time will tell :S

SRLE Extended String Count Testing
JUNKdeLUXE replied to linar9415's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
good advice Darth_mathias. I'm guessing I have to do SR:LE install (minus the survival immersion stuff and stuff that LoTD adds) and then do the SR:LE Extended install (minus the previous mentioned items) and then do the LotD install... ...and then the conflict resolutions - which I would have to relearn as it's been over a year since I last played with xEdit etc. Sounds daunting :) -
SRLE Extended String Count Testing
JUNKdeLUXE replied to linar9415's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Ouch.. this seems extreme.. And might hold me off from playing SR:LE Extended, as I 'NEED' Legacy of the Dragonborn (everything else is of lesser importance to me as I just love that mod) and LotD adds around 4000 strings. What can I say.. I love that kind of playstyle.. have to skimp on other things then... Perhaps I should give Fear and Loathing in New Vegas a go before returning to Skyrim.. hopefully all the kinks would have been worked out by then. -
Cleaning vanilla ESMs - wrong TES5Edit settings?
JUNKdeLUXE replied to JUNKdeLUXE's question in xEdit Support
I figured it was something like that.. I made the mod via overwrite and let Steam download the right vanilla ESM just in case. -
hey mates.. I think my MO or TES5Edit is setup wrongly.. In both the STEP and SRLE guide it's being described that when I'm cleaning the vanilla ESMs that the original files will still be in Skyrim/data.. but I'm finding mine in Mod Organizer\Overwrite.. what am I doing wrong?
