SRLE: Legacy of The Dragonborn Reqtified

So, weird little bug... I've noticed that with the Shoal Farm start, occasionally (and without any trigger that I can discern), you lose the ability to sleep or wait in the farm (with, "better not do that" or "I'll get caught if I do that" messages). It starts out fine, but once in a while coming back from an adventure I try to sleep and it keeps me from doing so. The NPCs still act like I'm fine, and I still appear to own everything in the farm. I just can't sleep or wait there. I don't know if it's related, but I also noticed that the door isn't locking behind me any more. Anybody have any insight? -

Also, fair warning: in my case, I needed a fresh save with SMC to solve a couple of bugs that cropped up. Totally worth it if you've got the system for it, though. -
A competitively priced 1080 equivalent would be awesome. I usually go nVidia, but not so much that I want to pay them any more than I have to :D

That is weird. I don't have any content-specific knowledge on that part (and you may want to query in the DynDOLOD thread about it-sheson might know exactly what's going on there), but I can advise that you double check the settings before you launch it. Also, you're going to want to let it complete before bringing what it did into MO. Otherwise, things are not going to work well/at all. -
I've read that Maxwell/Pascal was a pretty nice architecture improvement on nVidia's side (with Pascal being more or less a shrink of Maxwell), and AMD has mostly been coasting on the same architecture for the past few years. This makes GCN pretty wild as an architecture (in theory you could probably have close to modern Radeon speeds with cards from three or four years ago) and a tragedy for AMD that their drivers lagged behind hardware that should have slam-dunked nVidia. We have a pretty good idea of what Intel's future chips will look like, and a decent idea of how nVidia will continue to design, but I don't know that anyone has a good idea of price/power on Zen or Vega, which makes it difficult to make value extrapolations until we see them.

Wrye evangelizers here claim that Wrye is even better than MO once you jump past the learning curve, but I'm a little dubious. Fortunately, the MO dev was hired by Nexus for what appears the explicit purpose of making NMM much more MO-like. Of course, there'll be downtime while stuff is coded and sorted, but we all have to wait for SKSE anyway.... Personally, I wonder if I haven't reached the end of my modding journey. If the LOTD Reqtified build I've got now holds, I can't imagine what else I could reasonably add that I would want. The modding community always surprises, though, so I'm sure I'll come back in a couple years when everything's sorted and do a whole new build :D

I haven't encountered one. Clicking on the right profile just became second nature XD -

Huh. Trying to make the juniper shrink makes it disappear instead. Oh well, guess I'll just console-remove it. Fantasy Soundtrack: Give me a few minutes and I'll get it up. -
Excellent, thank you! I understand now.

Concerning the juniper tree issue, I found an edit in Neovalen's conflict resolution patch that appears to address the issue in Markarth, and I imagine it could be brought to bear on the Solitude one as well: 00016D71 MarkarthWorld > Block -2, 0 > Sub-Block -6, 0 > 00020EEB > Temporary > 000701DD Conflict Resolution: Use record from Skyrim.esm and change Scale to 0.35, X to -176142.750000, and Y to 1417.942261. Problem Resolved: Juniper tree needed to be moved to fit in its pot due to Skyrim Flora Overhaul Large Juniper meshes. I'll try to see if I can do something similar tonight. -
I've been asking around and searching but haven't found an answer, so I figured I'd post a thread. Neovalen mentions in his Skyrim Revisited pack guide that autoloading from death is bad because it brings over data that it shouldn't. Does loading manually after dying (if automatic load has been delayed/disabled or, for that matter, just loading from a game in play) still erroneously carry over data? I'm not familiar with the mechanisms behind autoloading and manual loading and how they may or may not differ, so I figured I should ask!

Just to confirm-we shouldn't need to re-run DynDOLOD after updating the scripts, right? -

OK, this one is fixable with MarkForDelete but I wanted to check in and see if other folks were experiencing this (or if I missed a step). Fingers crossed, this is the last issue I hit. Looks like one of the giant Juniper trees from Vurts got into Proudspire with unfortunate results. -

So Requiem turns off autoload on death. Does loading manually after dying (or, for that matter, just loading from a game in play) still erroneously carry over data? -

Amusingly enough, a new save fixed the window textures but not greyface. Creation Kit change....kind of helped? It looks a bit like it blended the two. Oh well, close enough. XD -

Got it. How involved would a CK fix be? If I followed this guide: https://ck.uesp.net/wiki/index.php?title=Dark_Face_Bug could I fix it myself? -

XCE is just made up of textures and meshes, no .esp-would a new game be necessary? -

Hm, I'll try that. I did try removing XCE, but the greyface issue did not resolve (kept two versions of the SMC actors texture folder-with XCE and without). I can try coming at it from another angle and dropping NPC retex to the bottom and seeing what happens :D -

In this case, it seems that they are in fact from SMC-when I hid the SMC files, the windows didn't double (though since they're vanilla now they look terrible by comparison XD) Does anyone know if the Solitude windows are taken from noble Skyrim, another mod, or a blend of the two? If nobody has any suggestions on how to fix the SMC deal I suppose I'll just have to manually replace them. Unlike the weird greyfaced Whiterun brothers it's a little more difficult to ignore. -

Another weird issue, post SMC: doubling window textures in Solitude. Looks like the building isn't where it thinks it should be? Edit: I hid swindows 01 through 04 and the windows returned to a drab normal with no doubling (except for some on the bard's college-looks like that's not one of the swindows, I'll need to check it out later) -

With jdsmith2816's amazing help, I'm almost done. I just have one issue (that I've found, anyway). I've got grey face for Elrindir and Anoriath. Difficulty: I'm not sure if it has been around before or after the SMC install, since I didn't interact with them much. Confirmed that it's not a race issue, but those two wood elves in particular. Haven't encountered anyone else with grey face. I don't have ECTV. Not seeing anything weird in TESVedit-only plugins dealing with those two characters are the NPC Retextures Merged .esp and Requiem for the Indifferent, and Indifferent seems to be forwarding everything on. Reading over the ECTV issues, though, is it possible it's some sort of merge issue with NPC retextures? Anyone have some ideas on how I might track this down? -

SMC spam 3: Dragonbone mastery. Looks like it was updated to 2.1 and 2.1.1, and the author only kept 1.0 old versions. SMC asks for the following: Dragonbone Mastery - WITH Engravings - v2.0-75175-2-0Dragonbone Mastery - WITHOUT Engravings - v2.0-75175-2-0
